Arie, the owner, runs an exceptional establishment. Since purchasing the restaurant in 2023-2024, he has poured his heart into building not just a clientele, but a community. His passion for hospitality is evident in every detail. From the warm, inviting atmosphere to the impeccable service and absolutely outstanding food, not a single detail has been missed (they even utilize linens that are business friendly and don't leave lint all over your clothing). I have been here twice so far and everything I have tried has been absolutely amazing! The restaurant itself is beautiful and provides the perfect ambiance for date night or a relaxing evening out. My husband and I always start with the Shaved Ribeye Crostini and the flavors will just rock your world! I then had a Caesar Salad to start and for my entree opted for the Stuffed Salmon special of the evening. The portions were huge and the meal was flavorful and well prepared. The service here is unmatched and the owner, Ari (who is often found running out food and helping out) is so very kind and welcoming. A Five-Star Find in Frisco! We visited Taverna Crudo for the first time last Saturday evening, and it certainly won't be our last. From the moment we sat down, we knew we were in for a treat. We kicked off the night with a couple of glasses of Oberon Cabernet--a perfect, smooth start to the meal. For the main course, I went with the Pappardelle Bolognese. The combination of ground ribeye and pancetta in that herb sauce was incredibly rich and flavorful. It's easily one of the best Bolognese dishes I've had in a long time. My girlfriend ordered the evening special: Sea Bass served with Lobster Risotto. She is still raving about it! The fish was cooked to perfection, and the risotto was decadent and packed with lobster. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the cozy bistro atmosphere. If you're looking for high-end Italian flavors in Frisco, this is the spot. Tuesday business lunch .meeting at Crudo in Frisco. The restaurant has an inviting dining area and a swanky fun bar area. Off to the kitchen area you get a view of their pizza oven and their lunch menu reminds you that pizza is one of their specialities For appetizer I enjoyed their creamy tomato basil soup which was one of the better renditions I can remember. For entree I had the parmesan crusted chicken. Presentation was excellent with a perfect crispy texture, only criticism was it lacked salt . Quick mention the restaurant was very accommodating allowing my guest to order their own version of pasta pescatore ( seafood and pasta ). Typically they do a pink cream sauce but my guest can't eat dairy and the restaurant was kind to make a custom version without hesitation I will definitely visit again as their happy hour specials and great environment make Crudo a definite destination to dine read more

Nice ambiance and more than just a pizza place. Full bar and extensive wine list at around 2X retail, but they told us they have 1/2 wine on Thursdays. Great Italian restaurant, but I recommend making a reservation in advance as the restaurant is a little small. We started off with the shaved rib crostini which I highly recommend trying. I ended up ordering the stuffed crab shrimp on top of risotto. The dish was a little bit on the small side. It probably could have eaten one more shrimp as it only came with three. The risotto was a nice touch to the meal. We split the apple pie, and that was the best part of the meal. The dessert was just enough to sample it between a few people. I think our waiter was a little confused as she told is the special of the blackened red fish was sold out, but we heard the table next to us order it after we did. We visited Crudo on a Tuesday evening and they had live music from a singer/guitarist. The restaurant is dimly lit so turn on your phone's flashlight if you have issues reading the menu. Our server was nice and accommodating. The manager came by twice to ask how we were doing so that was sweet. My favorite items were the lamb chops, meatballs, and mussels. We absolutely love their flatbreads! I get the smoked salmon, and it has always been exceptional. Husband likes one of their pizza choices, pizza de carne, but asks them to make it into a flatbread. Been wanting to try this place for a while and finally made it! And it was every bit as delicious as I've heard. We started off with the lump crab appetizer which was really good. Not sure what hot sauce topping they used on it but they need a bottle that stuff and sell it. They have a pretty big variety of food options, ranging from seafood to pasta to just good old fashion meat. The portions may seem a little small on photos but honestly they aren't. Everything is very flavorful and savory and you get full pretty quick. Will definitely return to try one of the pizzas because they smelled divine. The only con I would say about this place is they should enforce a little bit of a dress code. Doesn't need to be fancy, but should include a shirt. Given the cost of the food and the quality, it was a little disappointing to be seated next to a couple where the girl was wearing a sports bra and that was it. And I'm not talking about underneath something, I'm talking about she had a sports bra and some sweatpants on and everything was hanging out in the middle. We ordered the veal meatballs and calamari to start off. The meatballs were cold. I liked the calamari, but my boyfriend wished there was more calamari and less veggies. Stopped in for a quick date night on a Friday evening. It was surprisingly not too busy and relatively easy to get seated. It has a rustic vibe and the bar was pretty lively. We sat a table direct facing the bar, which spans across the dining area. Ordered the lobster ravioli and subbed scallops for shrimp due to an allergy. Hubby got the meat lovers pizza. The lobster ravioli came topped with crab and scallops. The crab was cold and when I asked our waiter if that was intentional, he said yes. My recommendation would be to make sure it's warm because it took the temperature of the dish very low. It comes with a cream sauce and having lukewarm / room temperature cream sauce isn't pleasant. There is a decent amount of lobster in the ravioli which was an upside along with the asparagus. The pizza was really tasty across all elements, the toppings, dough and sauce. It's super heavy and just had a bite. Hubby ate what could and brought rest home since it was a pretty large shareable size. I don't know if I'd go back however it's worth a try. I did see a lot of the salmon dish ordered at other tables and the vegetables it came with looked really appetizing. read more

Shame that a place so cozy and great food has such lousy service. Came in on a quiet Sat night. Table for 3. Server didn't know how to "read the table" or take care of us. Food very delicious! Husband and I shared a seafood pasta plate and our a friend got the same dish. Nothing complicated. Also both ordered the mixed greens salads. The problem is our server was just checked out...no checking on us after we got our order, if we'd like anything etc., We had empty plates stacking on the small table by us and the server is hyper focused on trying to take the plate away from our friends (as he's in mid bite). Then as our friend was finishing his drink he asked him if he wanted another one...he said yes, and then walks off and didn't bother asking us if we would like another drink too even though our wine glasses were both empty. My husband had to stop the guy before he ran off to ask him to bring us each another $15 glass. We also asked if the our server if he wouldn't mind putting the TV on the UT/TCU game... Doesn't ask so we get up and go ask the bartender, finally turns it on with 00:45 seconds left in the game. No biggie, at least we got refills on our drinks and as we're sitting there trying to enjoy the remainder of what's left of our evening...Here comes another server and I kid you not, squeegees the mop in the yellow bucket and begins to mop the floors literally right next to our table. Granted it was 9:45pm closing time is near, but seriously? There were 4 other tables still sitting and a few at the bar.... So now all you can smell was bleach water as we sat there quite shocked he was actually slop mopping 2 feet from us. How's that for ambiance?? Bottomline, our server was more focused on cleaning duties and rushing us out the door before we even got there. Sad to say we won't be coming back. With sooo many spots in this entire area...I'd rather spend our money and time in a place that actually wants to take good care of us. $100 spent in alcohol $65 on food. read more
