I came here for lunch after searching for NY-style pizza and found this spot. I'm glad I did. The owner, Kari, immediately greeted me. I placed an order for s lunch special and decided to dine in. I grabbed my drink and a seat. I have to mention they do have sweet and unset tea and Maine Root soda made with cane sugar. My pizza was in about 5 minutes. Kari brought it to me and asked me if I needed any red chili peppers or parmesan cheese. I went with the peppers. The pizza was delicious. The crust was perfect the cheese was very good. The flavors were just as good. This is a pretty good NY-style pizza. The sauce I came to find out is made in-house, and it was delicious. I'm glad I found this spot and I'm looking to come back. They also have a bar with 5 TVs inside and a large outside seating area. The ambiance is nice and spacious and perfect for large groups. Tucked away in the middle of a quiet neighborhood, this spot has such a cozy, welcoming vibe. The patio is super cute, the service was attentive and friendly, and best of all--it wasn't overly crowded. We ordered the 18-inch half-and-half pizza: Jason went with one of their meat options, and I customized the white pizza with a few of my own toppings. Both sides were phenomenal--crispy crust, delicious flavors, and just the right amount of cheese. We also shared the Brussels sprouts appetizer, which was bursting with flavor. I couldn't eat too many because of the bacon, but Jason definitely made up for it--those were gone before we even remembered to snap a pic (so forgive the lack of food photos!). Halo pizzeria is our neighborhood pizza joint! Even though, I've actually never tried their pizza. I know that's crazy, right? Seriously though I have yet to make it out of the appetizer section because it is so good! The meatballs are well seasoned and well cooked and wonderfully marinated in their marinara sauce. This last time I went, we also ordered the cheese curds which were divine! And then we also ordered the garlic knots because how can you not get bread at a pizza place? The staff was excellent, and our waiter was very attentive and took care of us without us ever asking for anything. Oh my word, talk about finally finding good pie! We moved here about 10 months ago and have being having mediocre to bad pies. I don't know how I found Halo Pizza, but I thank sweet baby Jesus I did! We are a family of 6 and got 1 18" cheese pie and 1 18" Margarita with jalepenos and grilled chicken added. I will NEVER order from anywhere else moving forward. Absolutely delicious experience at Halo! My hubby and I went on a Thursday early evening about 5:30. We were immediately and warmly greeted and seated quickly. Lots of families were outside with kids playing and adults enjoying conversation. We ate inside and they had football games on the many large screen tv's. We ordered two beers and perused the menu. Hubby ordered a pepperoni pizza and I ordered a build your own with EVOO, mozz and pepperoni. Best pizza I've ever had!!! Decided to try Halo Pizzeria during a Rides & Pies events. They were showcasing classic cars. It was a neat event. They had classic cars, various other car clubs, motorcycle clubs, vendors, food, family, friends, children, pets and a bunch of fun. It definitely had a warm and inviting feel. It was a busy spot, but not overwhelming. From the time we walked in until the time we left, it was just a friendly casual vibe. The pizza was absolutely delicious. It was a perfect thinner, crisp, crust with just the right amount of chew. It had a rich and flavorful sauce, and high-quality toppings that tasted fresh and generous. The wings came out hot and fresh. They were juicy yet cooked through. Their ranch dressing was unique. It tasted homemade with the right amount of ingredients. We sat at the bar and interacted with Juan. He was absolutely fabulous. Juan was cordial and attentive. Extra bonus* they even had live music! Great musician by the way! I really like the pizza here but man every time I come here they get my orders wrong or they forget something. This time was a two liter of coke and they are so out of the way. Half the staff is super nice, the other half won't even look you in the eyes. I am so excited this pizza joint is near my home. I really hope they stay in business for a long time. I had their pizza 2 weekends in a row. I have not dined in but I went inside every time to pick up. The pizza is amazing. Its NY style/Neapolitan which we prefer here at my house. I tried their margarita, cheese with cheddar and my favorite their Serrano ham and Spanish chorizo pizza. The serrano ham one was so freaking good. The whole pizza had this meaty/smoky flavor. Even the parts with no meat on it. The crust is perfect for my taste. The sauce not sweet or way too much quantity on the pie- but the exact amount needed and the flavor fantastic. The cheese pizza is my second favorite. We got the 18 inches because price wise its the better option plus we like having pizza for breakfast here the next day (warmed up in the oven! Yummm). The place is very nice and cool inside. There's a beautiful patio (which of course its closed now bc its 500 degrees in TX) but once this heat is gone I wanna go and sit outside. Some cool tables and comfortable chairs on the covered patio. The place has a bar inside and its an order and pay and sit or take home kind of place. The staff has been great every time Ive been to pick up. They even gave me a free soda while I was waiting for my pizzas. You can order online and I think they may have delivery options. I think they close Mondays? But then both weekend days they are open. Prices are excellent compared to other pizza places. Plus since the flavor, quality, taste and texture are delightful, I for one think the prices are not bad at all. I am happy to say this is our new NY style pizza place. We love it! Halo is seriously impressive for the neighborhood pizzeria. Service was fast and food was really good. We ordered 2 pizzas and a salad , that was surprisingly delicious and fresh. Servers were on top of their game despite the restaurant being full with a huge party inside. We sat at the patio and it was very comfortable and inviting. The only thing that was terrible is parents letting their kids run wild as if this is a Chuck-E-Cheese, there were 7+ kids of a kinder graduation inside that were running laps around their large table for a good 20 min. Meanwhile outside, toddlers were going in and out the gate and swinging on it, crying when they couldn't get in with no parent in sight. Sigh...we felt bad for the only other party inside that didn't come here to watch for track relays. I feel management could have asked not to run inside for safety and care for other patrons. Great little pizza place we were introduced to through a school fundraiser. Our servers were great...had a couple stop by and check on us. Open air atmosphere is nice but loud...I think a big group would be hard to hear. Pizza was DELICIOUS!! Got the meat one and loved the pepperonis and the way they chopped up the Canadian bacon.
