We've been here twice now and both experiences have been amazing. The first time we visited, the staff took the time to really get to know us and made us feel so welcome. The food was incredible and every dish felt unique and thoughtfully made. When we came back the second time, the staff actually remembered us, which made the experience even more special. It's such a warm, family friendly atmosphere and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. Every dish we've tried has been delicious, and the desserts are absolutely amazing. Was feeing Italian food and my friend and I wanted to also eat at a place that gave us a European vibe. Food was decently good. Service was great, staff was kind and professional. We ordered the mussels and linguine in red sauce and a chicken Alfredo pasta, finished with coffees and a lemon cream cake. The pasta dishes were good and plentiful but I feel like the mussels and linguine was missing some seasoning that I can't quite put a finger on. It was still good. The lemon cream cake was good but the lemon was almost too subtle, and it tasted more like a pound cake. We still enjoyed our food and time there. I wouldn't mind giving it another go. We just went here yesterday and were pleasantly surprised. Was craving some Italian food and happened to stumble up on this place. Ambience is a quaint, local Italian restaurant. Lots of people seem to be regulars as the wait staff recognize them. Dark and cozy environment. Service itself was just okay. They only semi-passed my water test cuz they filled it up once but it was empty for quite a long time. Food itself is very good! + My favorite was the chicken Murphy by far. Excellent flavor and my favorite going forward! + Caesar salad was also very good + Pizza was good with a decent amount of toppings and thin crust + Lasagna was good + Complimentary garlic bread knots! I grew up in the Bronx, and made many many trips to Italy. With the exception of an Italian cafe about 3 miles from downtown Rome, this is my favorite place for Italian comfort food. The food was excellent. After dining there several times, we brought friends who were new to the area. However, the service during this visit was disappointing and embarrassing, as we had assured them they would enjoy the restaurant. Our waiter ignored us throughout the meal, beginning with a long wait to take our order. He didn't offer water refills or bring bread, and after delivering our food, he didn't check on us again. He also failed to clear our dishes or inquire about dessert. His attitude was unfriendly, and he seemed annoyed by our presence. Once we finished, he placed the check on the table, walked away, picked it up abruptly, and did not speak. We hope this was an isolated incident and that management will take notice of an obviously unhappy and negative employee, who could ultimately damage the solid reputation that Eddie's Napoli has in the Frisco community. read more

My favorite place for Italian food in the Frisco area! Service is always great and while sometimes there is a wait on the weekend nights, it's never too long. Their fresh garlic bread is the perfect carb to snack on while waiting for food. If you like a twist on the classic fried calamari they serve theirs with peppers! I thought the sauce in the scampi was a little runny but after it set for minute the noodles soaked it up and was delicious. The shrimp however seemed to be cooked from frozen rather than fresh. The flavor was fine but the texture and color were off indicating they were frozen. I always love the garlic rolls with marinara for dipping. Service is fast and friendly. The restaurant had a nice, upscale feel with white table linens, black cloth napkins, and a spacious dining room and bar. A gentleman was singing live music by the front entrance, which added a fun touch to the atmosphere. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. He got our drink orders quickly and answered our questions about the menu. I asked about the wine pour and he let me know it was 6 oz. Our dinners were delicious--full of flavor and generously portioned. Depending on what you order, you might even have leftovers to enjoy later. We just got back from dinner at Eddie's Napoli, and it was terrific. I want to start by calling out our server, Danny. Great energy, great attitude, and you can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does. It makes such a difference walking into a restaurant and being taken care of by someone who loves their job. He was an outstanding ambassador for the restaurant. The food is always good here. We live in the area, and Eddie's Napoli has become one of our favorite spots. Consistently excellent, comfortable, and just a great place to grab dinner. Also, half-price wine on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday is an awesome deal, and they have some nice bottles to choose from. All around, a great spot and very easy to recommend. read more

We come here whenever we want an Italian food fix. Service & food quality are consistently good & we always find something on the specials menu that we enjoy. This time it was the Frank Sinatra. A flavorfully seared sea bass on top of cioppino. The other entree was the linguine with white clam sauce. Both entrees were generously portioned. Food is good but pizza is slightly over-priced. Toppings on HALF a pizza are the same price as the SAME toppings on a WHOLE pizza. One of their specialty pizzas with 8 toppings is the SAME price as a pizza with just HALF cheese/HALF peppers & onions. I don't enjoy having to be strategic when ordering pizza. read more

I had asked if there were any mocktail options however he seemed unsure so I skipped it. They had a decent wine selection and I'd be curious to try something in the future. Bread was served with a marinara sauce rather than butter or oil. This was a different approach which I can appreciate. I would welcome the oil for those who love it. Received the food quick. Ordered chicken piccata. Flavors were okay. I do enjoy my piccata heavier on the lemon side and this was a bit lighter. The sauce was more of a gravy consistency and noodles felt slightly over done. There was a generous amount of capers which is always a plus. Husband got the Italian beef which was okay. The giardinera was a nice addition and a must since we've moved from Chicago. Let's start with the amazing rolls that they bring to the table...the outside, ever so crisp...the inside, ever so soft and chewy...they are PERFECT. The best rolls I've ever had anywhere. This last visit I tried their caprese salad. The presentation was beautiful. It tasted fine. I think the main reason that it was just "fine" was because tomatoes really aren't in season in February. For my main entrée this last visit I had the Chilean seabass which was a special. Wow! The flavors and textures were right on - crispy on the outside and cooked to perfection inside. It was on a tasty buttery bed of risotto with veggies on the side. I ate it all!!! I then ended my meal with a delicious red velvet cheesecake! It was so light and not dense at all! These are a little handmade garlic knots come with a marinara sauce. I'm pretty sure they keep bringing bread out to you during the meal. Our family likes the pizza and we gets all kinds of toppings. It's a traditional thin crust is really tasty. I would recommend the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and I always ask for peas and onions to be added to it. They had cioipinio as a special, and we got an appetizer of Fried Ravioli, my wife got the Frisco Salad, and I got the Cioipinio. The ravioli was very tasty, my wife liked the salad, and I absolutely loved the cioipinio. It was very spicy and full of all the seafood that I love. It was expensive, but worth the price. We have never had a bad meal here, but sometimes we were not as pleased with the food, but the other night, we vowed to come back more. Wow COVID must have had a huge hit on this location. It used to be a favorite destination and the Firewheel location was 5 stars. We walked in and we're hit with a blast of frigid air. The bored hostess grunted, "Yeah it's cold but you'll get used to it." I was planning on having some wine but $10/glass for crappy bulk wine seems a bit expensive. Most tables were ordering bottles so there may have been a special I wasn't aware of. I ordered chicken piccata and my wife got chicken Alfredo - most dishes are $16 which seems like a made up price. Service was fast and friendly but the sauce on each of our dishes and the dipping sauce for garlic rolls was very watery. The chicken was frozen processed chicken which wasn't grilled with any spices so it was pretty bland and rubbery. My sauce was thin and tasteless and my wife didn't finish hers which had no cheese flavor whatsoever. The menus were dirty and worn from cleaning (ironic since they missed cleaning ours) So sad when an old favorite goes downhill. I suspect whoever was running the place in the old days is long gone and the current management is just going through the motions read more
