The concept of Crumbl is a knockoff of Sprinkles cupcakes in terms of design and the whole "weekly" flavors idea. If it was anything as good as the cupcake store they wanted to be, I was excited. Unfortunately, Crumbl cookies do not taste as good as they look. I got a box of 4 for $10, which granted is an acceptable deal just given the sheer size of them. However there was a running theme through every cookie - all of them had the same, playdough texture and lack of overall flavor. A good soft sugar cookie can be nice but not when there's nothing to counteract the monotony. The cookies were so sickly sweet that even just a sliver would satisfy a sweet tooth. This place is nothing short of five stars. Went in for the first time today. I didn't know what to expect and noticed they didn't have like a display full of cookies like a donut shop. I'm glad they started with a hello , welcome and "have you been here before?" . I said no and they showed me everything they had and how sometimes the flavors change. I immediately picked the lemon glaze and didn't have to wait more than ten seconds for them to package it up and give it to me. I didn't eat it until an hour later, and it was still "out of the oven" soft and tasted like I was eating a lemon bar. My favorite dessert. The cookies were so much better than I could've imagined, I bought the weekly 4, 2 chocolate, I chilled, and then one extra and they all tasted amazing and fresh and warm. The cookies are so big that I could barely finish a single one. Not sure why this bakery has been getting such low star ratings but I think their cookies are delicious! We had the raspberry cheesecake, s'mores, chocolate chips and chilled sugar cookie! My favorite was the sugar cookie! It was soft and cool, I taste a strong almond extract flavor in the icing which I'm a fan of! The raspberry cheesecake came in second place! The icing tasted like liquid cheesecake! I don't think pricing is bad, roughly $11 dollars for 4 gourmet cookies that are really large (depicted in my picture compared to the size of my hand). My cookie delivery order was late, so I called and asked for an ETA. I was told the driver was out with my order and would arrive in 15 minutes. An HOUR after that phone call, I received a text that my order was being prepared and would be delivered soon. Worst experience ever! I will NEVER order from here again. Try to make my sons birthday nice because of everything going on in the world. First they call and say they don't have half my order. Then I order it to be delivered to him by 430 and I had to call there at 5 because nothing showed up. My son left work with no cookies. When I finally got them and opened the boxes they were laying on top of each other. Broken and one was stuck to the top of the box. So disappointed. Quick easy service with walk in. Crumbl cookies aren't my favorite in the valley, but following their social media there are some weekly cookies I just have to try! This time was the dirt cake cookie, and honestly this cookie alone gives the Crumbl Cookies the hype they deserve. Loved it! I called the other day to see if I could order ahead for a dozen chocolate chip cookies individually boxed. They said it would be a problem. Called today to place that order and was told by the (rude) employee that they don't take phone orders and that I needed to come into the store to place that order. I thought that was odd, since I was told the opposite the other day, but got off the phone and drove to the store. I live about 7 minutes away and upon arriving, I was told that they were all out. How is that possible that you sold out of all the chocolate chip cookies in that 7 minutes since I hung up? This is crazy! Just how the employee was rude, that they couldn't take a phone order, and then being out when I arrived. There are plenty of places to get desserts and cookies. I hope that they change things around and have better service. Having a good product is part of a good business. The cookies are bomb. The cookies get 5/5 stars. The competence of the staff at this particular location is 1/5, rendering a final weighted score of 2/5 stars. Ordered curbside pickup. Went to the store and waited in the car after texting them we were here in response to their automated system. Ten or so minutes pass, at which point I go inside to find out what's going on. They say one of the cookies just got out of the oven and will be out shortly. Great, okay. I tell them where we are parked and in what car (which they already knew per the app). I go back to the car and wait another 20-25 minutes. Finally, I go in and they have my cookies ready to go! They'd been ready the whole time I was in the car. I asked why they didn't bring them out, they said "no one was in the car." That was a lie because I was in the car the entire time except when I went inside, and my friend was in the car at all times. They also never sent any follow up text alerts, so who knows when I would've actually gotten the cookies I had already paid for had I not gone inside to inquire. I asked them to discount the cookies or "something," which they would not do. They said, with very boilerplate, standardized language, "we are sorry for the miscommunication." They should've apologized for being lazy and lying, and should've just comped the order on the spot. So yeah, great cookies. More brains in the cookies than in the staff. ‍ read more

She always has a smile on her face even when dealing with rude people who complain about " COOKIES" during a crisis. The cookies here are great, however, we are in the middle of a pandemic and not a single employee was wearing a mask. The employee grabbing the already made cookies for customers was not even wearing gloves. These are basic food hygiene practices even without covid-19. read more

There are three basics areas that determine how likely I am to frequent a place, quality of the product, cleanness of the store, and the customer service. If any one of the three is off then it makes the experience less than ideal. If one of the three is horrible then it will impact whether I ever go back. Unfortunately, I had an experience at the Ahwatukee location in which the customer service didn't come close to meeting expectations and the result is that it will be my last visit. My daughter had went in the store to order 6 cookies. When she got home, we found that three of the cookies were incorrect. We called the store and spoke to Beth, the shift manager, and informed that we had the wrong cookies. She explained that she could "exchange" the wrong cookies for the right cookies. We explained that if we were driving back down to the store that we felt that something else should be done to compensate for our time and inconvenience. We even suggested that she just let us keep the wrong cookies and let come and get the right cookies. She said she couldn't do that. Frustrated, I went in with all 6 cookies and got her to provide a full refund. She wasn't apologetic or concerned for the inconvenience. The next day, when I contacted the corporate support team, they confirmed that it is their policy in cases when the wrong cookies are received to let the customer keep their cookies and come get the right cookies for free. Seems simple enough. I also wrote an email to the owner of the Ahwatukee store, and Melissa respond the next day explaining that although her crew didn't repeat back the order, or open the box when giving them to our daughter, both things she admitted were part of the training and process, she wasn't able to do anything for us. In fact, instead of trying to make the situation right, Melissa just explained that she had reviewed the camera footage and verified that the mistake had happened the way I described, but said, "Mistakes happen. We are all human." Yes, Melissa, we are all human and make mistakes. The difference then is how we deal with a mistake once we make it. You had an easy solution in front of you, that also seems to be your company's policy, but chose to handle it a different way. The cookies are good, the store is clean, and your service is sub par. Worse, you make excuses instead of just rectifying the situation. Good luck to you. I will chose to take my business elsewhere! read more

Once again, I am super disappointed in the OWNER of the new Crumbl!!! I sent an employee the first week they were open to grab cookies for our monthly Birthdays at the office. I needed 6 dozen. The owner let my employee know that they could not accommodate that but would be willing to sell 2 dozen as she stated she needed to save some for other customers. Fine. (I get it but I don't because you're still making the same amount of money if one person buys 6 dozen or 6 people buy a dozen, but okay) So my employee paid for 6 dozen for the next day pick up. When I sent my employee (a different one from the day before) in, the OWNER told her that they were going to have to charge us again because we were late picking up the cookies and she had to throw the 6 dozen in the garbage. Um...no. We were there 20 minutes after they called. 20 minutes! And you know darn well they didn't throw 6 dozen cookies in the trash! Fast forward to today, because I believe in second chances, I sent an employee in to get a dozen cookies and once again the OWNER was disturbingly rude. Today took it to the next level. It was crowded. There was a little boy in there, maybe around 3. Acting like a 3 year old. Squealing with excitement over the cookies. She (the owner) kept looking at him with pure disgust, it was bad. Finally, they leave and she expresses, OUT LOUD, In front of all the other customers, "Oh my gosh.....ughhh....next time I am going to have to say something if kids act like that". My employee was so upset. She said that the little boy actually did nothing wrong other than squeal with excitement. Then it's my girls turn to order cookies and the owner told her that it was going to be over an hour because she didn't place the order on line. She allowed my employee to get 2 boxes of 4. Wow! And then she made several comments about placing your order online before you come in, etc. She also made an effort to stick an online ordering card on top of the boxes as my employee was carrying them out. Well....if you were allowed to pick the specific cookies online that you wanted, we would have done that. But, it doesn't give you that option. It I really am blown away at what happened today! The magical cookie shop! One of my girlfriends introduced me to this place and now I always want it! I got the raspberry cheesecake, chocolate chip, snickerdoodle cupcake and the reese's chip. Each one was warm and soft and chewy and just everything a good cookie should be! They also have a selection of milk to enjoy your cookies with OR you can head to Wow Wow lemonade right next door! The classic lemonade and cookies combo! Cookies are sold individually or in boxes, its alittle pricey as individual cookies are almost $4 and boxes of 4 are about $15 but the cookies are extremely thick and rich so they can actually last you awhile. read more

I went in on the night of their soft grand opening... Cute lil shop and the smell is heavenly! I like that the menu board is clean and simple. In also really like the packaging... Not just because it was pink but because they utilize a wax paper layer (that is also cute) on the bottom of the box to keep the butter and/or shortening from soaking through the bottom of the box. As for the cookies themselves... They were only offering the milk chocolate chip and sugar cookies so I got 2 of each...They were ready and packaged promptly...The milk chocolate chips were divine!! Sweet and creamy and the cookie itself is huge! Definitely worth the singular price point. I do feee they should've been baked and cooked longer so it would be more done in the middle. I'm not a raw cookie dough (or raw anything) fan and I'm hella paranoid about salmonella so I basically ate the outside of the cookie. The sugar cookie was large and dense as well. Generously layered with a not too sweet frosting which is perfect for the cookie itself. I ate a fourth of each cookie and felt like I ate Thanksgiving dinner! You can easily share a cookie with someone and not feel depraved. I was told they have an app and delivery too! read more

I have zero allergies yet after taking a few pieces of 2 different ones that were gifted to me almost immediately started sneezing like crazy and had a runny nose for the next few hours. Not sure what ingredients they are using. Taste was so-so, didn't really taste much like a cookie at all just some over-inflated powder stacked high. First time trying this place - Semi sweet chocolate chip was my go to, the stuffed PB was a little bit of heaven as well - tastes homemade, no chemicals... Could I have made it at home? ABSOLUTELY... But do I want to go through all that trouble for a craving that only needs to be settled with one cookie from folks who do it right or do I want the prep, clean up and temptation of a dozen cookies calling my name? ABSOLUTELY not! So in this instance I'm going to pick up a warm fresh delicious cookie from a cute little boutique bakery and expect to pay more than the average. You get what you pay for, one cookie could literally be split two - even three ways of you're just wanting to kill the craving. You could also go to the grocery store and grab a dozen (cold, in a plastic container, that's been sitting there for who knows how long!) for the same price, you decide...as for customer service, I mean, they seemed nice, but I was there for 4 minutes and a cookie...not to make friends. I'm sure they don't train their employees to be rude and maybe some need a new job where they aren't miserable, but that's pretty common in most places. Move along people. Catering in general requires prior notice, I'm surprised another business doesn't realize that. If there's a time limit for pick up that should be communicated or a process that needs to be adjusted (maybe tell people that once they get there and check in, they'll have a 15 min wait?)
