Note crumbs , as I could not wait to take a bite!

I came here after a huge dinner at the Session room, and thought I'd be too full to indulge. I bought a pack of 6 and ended up eating 4 before bed! It's a very modern set up, where you order and pay at a kiosk, and then you are presented with an adorable pink box of fresh cookies. I tried almost all the selections. The chocolate chip and strawberry were tops, but they were all amazing, very soft and warm, I'll definitely be back, especially since my gym is in the same parking lot!

I loved the vanilla buttercream cookie here. The chocolate chip was ok. Lemon raspberry was good but I prefer the warm cookies over the chilled. I let it sit for a bit to come to room temperature and it was better that way.

First time going to Crumbl and they were clean, friendly and fast. Huge cookies, next time one or two will be okay for me. Reviewed: 2023

Been here several times since my last review and thought it deserves an update. Overall I think these cookies are way too overhyped on social media. Most of the cookie flavors I've tried are artifical tasting, especially the ones with some type of frosting. I'll say there have been 2 cookie flavors that have been near perfect - cornbread and blueberry muffin. But the inconsistency with the flavors makes these cookies fall short.

You can order over the Crumbl app or in the store over these displays.

Crumbl is one of those places created for the TikTok crowd. I'm opposed to food that is styled just for the sake of a photo or video, taste be damned. I dislike outrageous or gluttonous displays of food just for a social post. However, that is not the case here, despite its strong social presence. Each week, it sells 4 different colorful and creative cookies and 2 mainstays (classic sugar and milk chocolate chip). The cookies are baked and decorated on the premises; guests can order through the app or online in the store. The store is relatively new; the brand seems to be doing well as they are opening new locations monthly. I traveled to the Ann Arbor store but I later learned that there would be one closer to home, in Novi. Incidentally, I was at the Novi location for its grand opening a few weeks later. During my visit, the staff was busy decorating and boxing cookies to order. I ordered all 6 and had a bite of each to compare (the rest went into the freezer to be enjoyed at a later date): Orange Creamsicle - Soft cookie studded with white chocolate chips with a layer of vanilla cream cheese. The slight taste of orange was more pronounced when the cookie was chilled. I chose to visit this week for this cookie, alone. Therefore, I was a bit disappointed that it did not remind me of my favorite childhood treat. Confetti - Sugar cookie with sprinkles in the batter, topped with pink icing and colorful confetti. The sugar cookie tasted exactly as expected but I was more surprised that the icing tasted like "pink" icing. Can pink coloring have a flavor? The cookie was a-okay when enjoyed from the freezer. Classic Sugar - Sugar cookie with pink icing that had a different texture than the confetti cookie. The cookie was also a-okay when served chilled. Honeybun Roll - Extremely soft cookie that broke apart in my hands. The overall taste was of cinnamon-flavored cookie dough. I really enjoyed the prominent cinnamon flavors but not the uncooked tastes of cookie dough. I did not like this cookie at all. Milk Chocolate Chip - no wonder it is on the menu every week. Full of chocolate flavor, I really savored the overall taste and texture of the cookie. Buckeye Brownie - The thick peanut butter and bold chocolate flavors were incredible. I loved the look, tastes, and textures of this cookie. It was my favorite of this week's offerings. Be warned the cookies are calorie and carb bombs. They range from ~400 to ~800 calories per cookie on the week of my visit and from ~40 to ~100 carbs per cookie. A cookie is almost a day's worth of calories. Plan accordingly if you are watching those metrics. Service was average.

Last time when I went to the store they were busy and out of cookies. So, I tried to place curbside pickup order through the app, I got an error message saying curbside is fully booked for the day. Then, I tried to place order through phone, I could hardly hear as their phone line wasn't good. Finally went to the store and placed self order with the available options. Ordered : Blueberry Cheesecake Milk Chocolate Chip Sherbet Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Chocolate Chip was good and the rest were below average. Very disappointed with my recent visit. Only good thing is they are open till midnight on weekends. But with limited options there is no point in keeping the store open .

Crumbl is a gourmet cookie franchise that started in Utah and has over 200 locations now, and they recently opened up their first two Michigan stores, including one in Ann Arbor. Their cookie flavors rotate weekly, and they're really popular on social media. The presentation and branding are great, the cookies and packaging were super photogenic, and service in the store was friendly and polite, but I wasn't impressed with the cookies I tried. The cookies are the thick, cakey style, and I found them to be on the greasy, commercial-tasting, and very sweet side. Each cookie is huge and can last several servings as per the nutrition facts on their website. They've done a great job with branding and hyping up the flavors, so I can see why they've blown up on TikTok and Instagram. They also deliver and do curbside pickup through online orders (and in-store ordering via touchscreens), which is very convenient.

Daaaaaaaaang these cookies are GOOD! They are massive and just the perfect cookie, in my humble opinion. I love that Crumbl has a rotating selection of cookies so every time you come here, you can expect to get something a bit different, if not all different. I've honestly loved every single cookie that I've gotten from them and I'm happy to see them expanding to more and more locations around Michigan. This was the first location I ever went to and was cursing myself afterwards for living too far from Ann Arbor to be able to go to this location as frequently as I wanted to given how DELICIOUS these cookies are! Crumbl Cookies also reheat SO WELL! You get a pack of 4 cookies, which is the order I would highly recommend going with so you can try a couple different flavors that they do so well, but because the cookies are so big, they're impossible to finish all within the same day, despite how much you would like to. Just pop one of the cookies into the microwave for 10 seconds, and it'll be as good (if not a bit better) than your first bite right after purchasing these cookies!

There's plenty of parking but it does get quite busy on Saturday morning/noon. The place is pretty narrow and small. The offerings are nice but there were not many flaky pastries. I'm used to the huge glass case varieties from Tous les jours or Paris Baguette and love the flaky pastries or novelties the best! Yoon's was bread and bun heavy and their prices overall were higher (if you can believe it!). I did try this Cloud cake $6.50 that was out of this world good but the strawberry jam part was too sweet. The hazelnut cream sandwich loaf (3 small servings) was so beans good with my favorite type of cream that only Asian bakeries can get right! My only complaint is more cream, please!

I saw an ad for a Grain Latte (mi-su-ga-ru) and was so curious how it would taste. I haven't noticed it anywhere else (other Korean bakeries), so had to make a trip just for the drink, along with their other goodies. Omg, from the first sip, I was transported back to my childhood. I used to drink the multigrain drink that would come in powder form. But this drink was elevated by the espresso. What a perfect combo! Now this latte isn't sweet, so if you are looking for sweet, this won't be the drink for you. I had my hubs try it out and said he could taste espresso with an aftertaste of the grains- not something he would order, himself. But I'm definitely going to! He ordered the pistachio latte and I could tell it's very different from other ps's I've had from Monday Coffee Club or from Yemeni coffee houses. It definitely has that light, Korean, nutty taste that isn't strong. The baked goodie, I'm happy to say, has expanded and they offer so much more than they did since my last review. They've added a few nice tables and chairs, so you don't have to leave to enjoy your pastries or coffee, unless there's no spots. Highly recommend Y if you enjoy desserts that's not too sweet.

To begin, let's start with the positive things; the ambience of the cafe was great, the pastries looked immaculate, and the employees were attentive and kind. That made the trip to the cafe worth it. But would I go out of my way to come back for another cinnamon pastry or pain au chocolat? The answer is yes, if a couple things were improved. The pastries themselves I found to be a bit dry, but they had decent flavor. The cakes/mini desserts were good, though personally I am not a big fan of cream, so they weren't my favorite. I asked for my pastry to be warmed, but when I got it was barely over room temperature. But the BREAD. The bread was DELICIOUS. It had a perfect bake and fluffiness, and it was bursting with flavor. I recommend the zaatar or leek and cheese loaf. Both were amazing. I could definitely eat an entire one The drinks are also great as well. We got a black coffee and iced matcha and both tasted good. Overall, if you are looking for a cafe/patisserie with amazing ambience, kind employees, decent pastries, adorable cakes, delicious bread, and great drinks, I would certainly recommend Cannelle to you.
