Once in a blue moon, when I get a sweet tooth (for a sugar cookie especially), I like to stop by Crumbl Cookie and treat myself. My consistent fav is definitely their classic pink sugar cookie (btw..a single cookie goes for $4.49 ~ which is average now-a-days, at least their cookie is a huge size). I just love the almond sugar cookie topped with that silky pink almond frosting. It's heavenly. Heads up, their cookies are quite sweet sometimes, hence why I always cut up my cookie into fourths and eat only a quarter at a time & over a day or two. I've also tried their cookie thins ~ in pink sugar & chocolate chip. It comes with 2 for the price of 1 regular-sized cookie, so not bad/fair. It's thin, crispy and chewy all rolled up in one..PERFECT for those who wanna feel less guilty. Lol Because their desserts are made fresh daily, their cookies are always fresh and soft. While I do like their concept of a weekly rotation menu (so there's always something new to try), sometimes the flavors are just too out there for my taste. I will try anything lemon-flavored, though. Yums! Their Foothill Ranch location is the closest to my house ~ located in the Foothill Ranch Towne Center, near Walmart & In-n-Out. The staff at this location is always friendly, and the store is super clean and welcoming. As you walk in, you place your order via an ipad/kiosk, so it's quick & efficient and your order is ready in no-time. I sometimes just order via the Crumbl app as well, for a fast, drive-by pick-up. This was my first time ever trying Crumbl Cookies. Today only 11/6, Crumbl Cookies is offering FREE Chocolate Chip Cookie Thins for each visitor that comes in for one; no purchase necessary. This was a great way for me to try them out for the first time. When I first walked in, I didn't expect the place to look so clean! It was spick and span and there were cookies laid out in front. There were two women working at the time. I didn't catch the name of the girl I spoke to. I came in and asked her if they were giving away FREE Cookies today and she said they were. She told me what to press on the machine to order my cookies. She wasn't very friendly though. I placed my order she handed me my cookies and I told her this was my first visit. Usually when I tell a business that I'm a first-time customer, they're more open to explaining what they have, who they are, their process, etc. I don't get that this time. I also noticed after I grabbed my cookies, she kinda spied on me in odd way as I was leaving. As far as the cookies, I honestly didn't expect to receive two! I give them a 3.5/5. This location is absolutely filthy. The floors look like they haven't been cleaned in months, and the front door and entry mat are dirty. The walls are gross too. It's not the fault of the staff working there -- they're always friendly and provide fast service. The owner needs to step up and take responsibility by hiring a cleaner and maintaining basic cleanliness. The staff deserves better, and so do the customers. So apparently I had a free cookie sitting in my account, even though I haven't been to Crumbl in over two years. Decided to give it another shot and grabbed the chocolate cake batter cookie. Big mistake. It was hard, dry, and completely stale. I remember when Crumbl's biggest issue was underbaking everything--cookies so raw they practically needed a warning label. Now? They've swung the opposite direction and landed on rock-hard. Can't say that's an improvement. Glad it was free because I'd be pretty irritated if I actually paid $4.99 for that. Stop by to get cookies for a group of party, love the cookie but had a disappointing experience. When I received my cookie box, I noticed that the cream had smeared onto the side of the box. I politely pointed it out, but the staff member wiped it off with her hand and then wiped her hand on her clothes, without saying anything or even exchange a new one. It felt unsanitary and unprofessional. I hope they can improve on hygiene and food handling--it would make the experience much better. My family loves the fun of trying the new crumble cookie flavors. Often the flavors can be hit or miss. I really enjoyed the milk chocolate chip one and the key lime pie cookie, I wasn't the biggest fan of the pink sugar cookie but it wasn't awful. Placed an order online and the associate was very kind and quick to help with starting the order. The cookies are all very unique and it's neat to see all the baking equipment behind the counter which helps to showcase how fresh the cookies are made. The packaging is simple yet appealing, and the cookies are quite big so it makes it seem a much greater value. Overall, would certainly return to order more cookies in the future. Here's just a short review of this Crumbl as a person who comes here regularly and is a Crumbl fan. This Crumbl doesn't have seating, as many don't. The shop is pink and feels like you're in a Barbie baking show. Smells like cinnamon and fresh cookies. Which they basically have right in front of you. Instead of a kitchen in the back as other bakeries do, they basically make and package it right in front of you. I don't really see them make it. I think they just make it before hand and heat it so it might not taste completely fresh. But it also depends on the cookie you get. Some are moist with a soft cookie and crunchy sides. But if it's a cheesecake or cake it is moist and soft and thick. Very sweet. Considering they package it and you order on a board and place your cookie order in, it's very fast and efficient. Not really an interaction. I know they work hard to be efficient and have a positive attitude in general. And if you want a variety of cookies that you can finish, you can get mini ones! Okay, how do we go about rating this 2 different ways... my first Crumbl experience was a gift. A friend had ordered a box delivered to my home for my birthday 2 years ago. Crumbl Cookies are big and sweet and ridiculously expensive. Well, to an old guy like me whose memory is stuck in mall cookie stores from 20 years ago they seem expensive. I've been to a couple other locations. This one is in a large plaza anchored by WalMart, specifically located next to Red Robin. Plenty of parking! The interior is like any other Crumbl. You order on the ipad screen and your cookies are ready in mere minutes. They have six cookies to choose from, the chocolate chip and sugar cookie are always available while the other four options change weekly. I opted for two cookies - the chocolate chip and the dirt cake. The chocolate chip was deliciously soft and full of chips. You can't go wrong with a chocolate chip cookie from any Crumbl location. The dirt cake was a chocolate cookie with fudge topping. It was a chocolate lovers delight and almost too sweet. The weight of the fudge topping on the warm, soft cookie was too much to handle and it immediately bent, broke, and fell back into the box. I had to eat it piece by piece which was rather messy. I don't have a dog so I had to lick my gooey chocolate fingers myself. I noticed they have smaller sized versions of their huge gourmet cookies displayed but I didn't inquire about them. Maybe there is a smaller size available to purchase? They also have cartons of ice cream (made at a dairy in Utah) for sale. If you are a cookie lover and think the price of these monsters are worth it, you'll find happiness here in Foothill Ranch. read more
