This location is awful all around. My wife and I got to the crumbl in Cerritos and will continue to even though this one is 5 minutes from us because it's so bad. On three separate occasions we've had issues with our orders A) not being correct/available and B) having to wait an upwards of 30-45 minutes for mobile pickups. The staff seems very stressed and it shows in their interactions with guests. No lie, the last straw was my wife ordering cookies, going to pick up, waiting in car for 15 minutes in the pickup location right out front despite the app saying "your cookies are on their way" (a common issue all 3 times we've been) she went in and picked them up and the employee didn't mention to her that they were out of a cookie she ordered so he just put a random one in. ( a problem we've had 2 of 3 times) She didn't notice until she got home. Called the store and the employee told her to bring the cookie back! When she did, got there, and asked for a refund the employee was so surprised...didn't know what to do, made her wait another 10-15 minutes while he called his manager. In the end she didn't get a refund and didn't get the cookies she originally ordered. Will not be going back, this locations sucks. read more

I ordered and payed online the morning of, then went to pick up at my scheduled time later on that day and waited for a good 10 minutes only to be told they sold out of the cookies I had already ordered and payed!! Like HOW??? why have an option to pre order if it makes no difference!!! The manager that night didn't give af! She was like we can't do anything about it. Aside from that horrible service I payed an extra $1 for some specific wrapping, and I added a note, I didn't get either of them. They gave me whatever cookies they had left and they were all cold and hard . Even the ones that were suppose to be "warmed up" litteraly such a sh*tty establishment!!!! The service is absolutely terrible at this location. I've been to various Crumbl cookie locations and this is by far the worst. The staff here are rude and completely unhelpful. The Crumbl app usually doesn't work location wise (which is also unfortunate but not the store's fault) so I always have to walk in to grab my order but I never have an issue grabbing my order myself until this specific location. And when I tried to ask for help with my order the staff either completely ignored me or claimed there was nothing they could do. Which is untrue because any other location can look up the order I placed and hand it to me when it's ready. Never coming here again and I don't recommend anyone else does either. read more

Best customer service in the world as soon as I came in smiles on their faces greeting me, I felt welcomed there. The food was amazing every single bite was just better and better I couldn't believe how fast It went by. This place has incredibly rude customer service. There is one man who just blankly stares at the customers, when I walked in he gave me a mean mug and it was just an awkward interaction overall. I was left standing around for a couple of minutes before anyone decided to acknowledge my presence there. Sadly this place is not run well, and they have always had issues with their restocks and inadvertently it feels as if they are trying to rip you off. I don't think the workers care enough about the customers to make their experience pleasurable, i do not recommend coming to this location. read more

Giving this place at least two stars because the cookies were decent but beware of bad customer service!! As I picked up my order the young man who gave it to me did not look happy at all and approached me in a rude manner. Still tipped the workers because I can only imagine the stress they endure but please approach your customers more nicely. Meh. They gave us the wrong order and I didn't realize it until we were long gone. Our first visit and likely our last- we were supposed to get a molten lava and lemonade along with the fry bread and vanilla. Instead we got a chocolate chip and some pink cookie. One of them replaced the lemonade because they were out of that one, but we were supposed to get a lava, so I'm guessing we just got the wrong box altogether and i did not receive the receipt so have no way to check what it says. Expensive cookies, fry bread flavor was not great, chocolate chip was run of the mill. Pink was downright gross. Vanilla was delicious but literally tastes like Pillsbury refrigerated cookie dough with gourmet frosting. Employees were nice enough but it wasn't crowded so if the lemonade was out, why not tell me at the time of order on the ridiculous order pad instead of after i already ordered and paid? Isn't stock updated? Order pad is also a pain. Not everyone wants to give up their phone number just to get a receipt, and there are no paper ones. It should have been emailed but that didn't happen either. The only interaction we had with an employee is when they handed us the box and yet the order pad asks you if you want to leave a tip. I'd understand that if they were paid tip wages but this is regular hourly and you want me to leave a 20% tip to get handed a box? Just not what they are built up to be. At $5 a cookie (and even at $16.25 for the box of four) they were a big disappointment. Pretty and instagrammable though... I couldn't even send a query to corporate because the website contact form is down, the website is so poorly constructed that there are underscores between all the words, and the site seems to have been translated from another language based on the poor sentence construction. The cookies here and this place is so unsanitary. We saw an employee pick his nose and he didn't even wash his hands after and touched the cookies. They take out the trash while people are still ordering and they don't wash their hands after taking out the trash. They wear the same gloves after touching dirty surfaces and then they touch the cookies right after. Never going here again. read more

Want to start with saying I got introduced to Crumbl in Cerritos California went there a couple of times. I was pretty happy to hear Downey was going to open a Crumbl since I live here in Downey. I really have to be honest and blunt... "Service here is TRASH" seems that every time I come here it's a bad experience. Today at 1:25pm I walk in and there is only 2 customers I was like great in and out. WRONG there were only 2 staff members 1 mixing dough in a trash can and the 2nd decorating cookies.
