One of our student organizations was hosting The Scookie Bar, and after walking around their event, you could score a ticket for a complimentary Scookie. As we pre-ordered so many as incentives for our students, I thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, something wasn't set up properly so we didn't have the cookies themselves, but we did have sundaes. We had six options to decide between. I went with The Standard consisting of vanilla ice cream, chocolate chips, and chocolate sauce, and on a normal day, there would have bene a chocolate chip cookie, too. The other five options included the Chocolate Lover, The Celebration, The Signature, Reese's Lover, and The VNA. While I enjoyed the sundae, I'm sure it would have been even better with the cookie included. The Scookie Bar is "where the scoop met the cookie" and serves freshly baked, warm deep-dish skillet cookies also known as scookies. They have a location at The Churchill in Downtown Phoenix, though I would assume I would more regularly see them when their food truck stops by ASU. Their Churchill location is closed on Monday but open Tuesday through Friday from 5-10 PM and Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 10 PM. If you want to order catering, it includes 2 hours of service and a 100 scookie minimum. They can provide a Build Your Own Menu where guests can choose the cookie, ice cream, and toppings, or they can choose from the Signature Scookie Menu which is what ASU did. They have been operating since 2016 in Phoenix. Now that I realize that I was missing the chocolate chip cookie, I need to try it again with that included! I definitely recommend this sweet treat to others.

Food (4/5): The Sicilian Baker is known for its cannolis, tiramisu, gelato, and lobster claws (dessert, not real lobster haha). On my most recent visit, I had a cannoli. Hi there, I'm honestly so disappointed with my recent visit to your Crumbl location. The moment I walked in, there was this weird, musty smell that completely ruined the experience before I even ordered. I couldn't tell if it was the building or something coming from the back, but it was honestly off-putting. To make matters worse, as I was leaving, I saw two of your employees kissing right outside the building! I'm sorry, but that is completely unprofessional and inappropriate when you're representing a business. And let's talk about the cookies... The frosting looked old and crusty, like it had been sitting out for hours. Nothing like what's advertised online. The whole thing just felt sloppy and lazy. I expected a much higher standard from a company like Crumbl. Please do better -- because right now, this location is giving middle school bake sale energy, not a premium cookie experience. read more

We went in at 7:30 on a Friday. I ordered through the kiosk. After 15 minutes I asked what was wrong because the girl boxing cookies vanished. I was told they were out of cookies. Nobody told us and the place was filling up after another 10 min. I asked again. The girl came out from the back and said they only had 2 flavors. I asked for the flavors they had. Not impressed. Someone in our family raved about this place so we tried it. 1 chocolate chip cookie that cost almost $4.00 with tax, yikes. She walked away. The second cookie came out something she threw it at the counter and walked away. Extremely rude, if I wasn't with my kids I would have drawed attention to her customer service. In the car, my son said his cookie was melting. Strange, but I told him it's probably the cookie flavor and it was warm. But when we got home i noticed he didn't eat it, so I went to look and it was underbaked. I am not sure was was in the air but customer service in Noterra is pretty bad.

My most recent experience involved attempting to resolve a prior transaction from April 10. Although my Apple Pay charge reflected "58th & Bell," I knew the purchase had been made at this location. Rather than my concern being respectfully reviewed, I felt dismissed and treated as though I was being dishonest in front of other customers. Wanting to give the situation the benefit of the doubt, I still completed another purchase while there. After leaving the store and sitting in my car, I reviewed the new Apple Pay transaction and discovered it reflected the same location description--proving exactly what I had been trying to explain. Only after returning to the store and showing this evidence was the issue finally corrected. What made the situation especially upsetting was that the correction only came after I had to independently prove the mistake myself. At no point during this interaction did I receive an apology for the embarrassment, frustration, or inconvenience caused after being publicly dismissed. I was also not initially provided a receipt and was unable to obtain a customer service contact number in-store, despite one being listed online. The entire interaction escalated unnecessarily while other customers already frustrated by wait times looked on. I understand mistakes happen, and customer service can be difficult, but professionalism, kindness, and respectful communication matter--especially from someone identifying themselves as management. This experience genuinely made me uncomfortable and honestly sick over how unnecessary it all became. I truly enjoy the product and have been a loyal supporter of the brand for years, which is why this experience was so disheartening. This shop is simple enough where you enter, see a ton of donuts, a case full of drinks, and some other random stuff, but mostly I'm just here for the donuts. The employee working was super freaking friendly and ended up giving me a free donut because I had to wait for literally one minute for her to come up, which is 100% absolutely not a problem at all, but it was super sweet of her anyway. I ended up ordering a glaze crawler and a chocolate frosted donut as well, and I think the free one was maple glazed if I'm not mistaken. All three of the donuts were top notch delicious and I can't think of a single non positive thing to say. Overall, Lucky Donuts might just be a standard donut shop, but top notch service and delicious donuts make this place something special. Hungry? Lucky Donuts got you.

They had a pretty decent variety of donuts available, considering the time I went (3pm on a Monday). That being said, the fruit loop donut I had this time was a bit stale (more so the doughnut, than the cereal). Overall, a perfectly fine stop if you're in the area and have a sweet tooth. Just don't expect greatness.

The crepe was warm and soft with lightly crisp edges, and the Nutella was rich and silky, melting into every bite. The ice cream was cold, creamy, and packed with chocolate chips that added a satisfying crunch. The employee was very attentive and friendly. We had three big orders, and he handled everything perfectly.

The owner is in from time to time with his daughter, otherwise it's often a team of sweet ladies (who also seem to be family) and local teens. My go-to is maple with Nutella drizzle, but right now they're doing a Pumpkin Spice Powdered Sugar with Carmel Drizzle and pecan pieces. It's really good! The pumpkin spice is mixed into the powder sugar, so it's a nice and mild pumpkin flavor on a very sweet treat! This is a great spot for kids and families! PS: Right now if you go in costume you get a free Halloween donut.
