Very good customer service and atmosphere. The two above mentioned aspects of our group visit deserve five stars in my books. The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. Unfortunately, we had mixed opinions on the food we ordered. - Happy hour starters were priced between 5$-7$, which isn't bad at all, but the food quality wasn't quite there. The calamaris were over fried and had not so pleasant taste. Chicken wings were okay. Nice glaze flavour but the wings were tad on a dry side. - Our group's mains were hit and miss too. 1. Flat bread was very tasty. The toppings and sauce had good flavours. The dough came well done and crispy as requested. 2. Cajun shrimp dish was presented well. The sauce had mild spiciness and acidity which paired well with shrimp. The polenta was too clumpy. 3. Halibut fish wasn't seasoned, however, other ingredients on the plate were which helped when paired with the fish. 4. Linguine with clams had pasta cut into small pieces which was odd. There was way too much sauce on the plate. The flavours were okay. No disappointment when it came to drinks. Good selection of various beverages and all were prepared well. read more

Good drinks, decent beer list. Accommodating servers and staff. Bathroom wreaked of urine at 5pm. Food was inconsistent. Calamari over priced, took 30 minutes to receive. Came out soggy, very small portion for 18$, marinara was like old or something. Chicken Katsu was decent, tasty pickles and spicy slaw, portion small, rice was undercooked and crunchy. Fish and chips were good. Pork belly Mac and cheese was a huge portion, pork belly wasn't braised long enough. Cheese sauce tasted basic like one cheese cheddar. Flatbread looked basic. The flat bread was whiter than wonder bread after being cooked. Saw the chef in the bar for about 25 minutes hanging out watching the games. Never once stopped by and asked anyone how their food tasted. I would have told him. Looked like a cafeteria chef. Do not recommend eating here. read more

Terrible service despite the fact it was not busy. The lunch menu is mostly just burgers and sandwiches, the dinner menu might be better if you want variety. Ordered the calamari and it was disgusting. It was burnt and extremely rubbery like it was sitting open in a freezer for months, the sauce couldn't redeem it. I usually come up to Crush and Brew for their happy hour. Their staff is always very friendly and easy to talk to. Plus they have a great happy hour from 4-7pm. Tonight, I asked for a flatbread pizza which under happy hour is $9 vs. the usual $20. They ran out of the flatbread but instead put it on focaccia bread. It was actually delicious! We started off with 2 shots of Lo Tequila not on HH, with and glasses half rim with salt with lime, next a couple of Moscow mules in copper tin mugs, ordered the Bavarian pretzel with warm gooey cheese and cold stone mustard, the bourbon glazed chicken wings w/ ranch, the truffle steak fries that were crispy and we ate them all plus two items from main menu, goat cheese salad and the Cali flat bread. This review is solely for their 'private parking' which is a dirt lot. There is only one sign that is pretty easy to miss. There should be more signage that is visible from more than one angle. After a long day of viewing nee builds in the area. We stumbled upon this cute restaurant in Old Town Temecula. We were able to find parking right away on a Sunday afternoon. Joey (I believe that was our server's name), but super sweet and attentive. Since we were visiting the area, we asked him about his experience in Temecula, how he liked the area, and what were some things to do in the area besides wine tasting. He was really kind to chat with us for a bit and let us know there's a speakeasy in the restaurant! He also let us go see if at well even though it wasn't open yet. The speakeasy was very cool and had a great vibe to it despite not having any patrons until 5pm. The food was good - typical burgers, flatbreads, salads, and entrees. I think what really stood out were their drinks. They have a great variety of cocktails for everyone and also offered a wine flight. The only negative was my bf's fries came out cold, but they did re-fire another order for us, and apologized. If we're back in town and/or decide to make the move to Temecula, I would come back again. read more

The flavor lacked, like there wasn't a spice or savory taste to it despite the dish's description. The chicken tasted like premade cold cubed chicken tossed in and heated within the dish while cooking. 2/5 stars. California Chicken Flatbread: much better dish than the pasta but you can tell the flatbread is frozen not fresh. Ranch was abundant. Same chicken situation as the Mac. 3/5 stars. Never a dull time at Crush and Brew. I've been stopping into this location since pre COVID. It's nice to see business is booming on weekends. Stopped in on a Sunday evening and took a seat at the bar. We were immediately greeted by the bartender who also provided a menu and drink suggestions. The flatbread was undercooked and when I let the server know he asked, "Did you want me to take it back" I said yeah, because it is undercooked and he replied, "It looks like he ate half" when my two friends each had a slice. Right off the bat... I ordered a Coke after a long day of learning about animals and swimming with otters, and it came in a chilled glass. That was amazing! Ordered: Calamari Apple, walnut and goat cheese salad Cheesesteak sandwich with pork belly fries The calamari was just ok. It was served in a cup, so the calamari got soggy pretty fast. The calamari itself was cooked well. The red wine marinara seemed a bit flat to me, a if it was missing something. The green goddess was better, but still missing the bite of a garlic aioli. The salad was also just ok. I love goat cheese, but they went a little heavy on dressing the salad. The cheese overpowered the apple and the walnuts. My fiancée had the pork belly fries and he said it was a great idea but they didn't highlight the pork belly enough. The sauce and the fries were good though. The cheesesteak sandwich was tasty and the bread was toasted nicely. The saving grace to this place was the service and the vibe. If I was just coming here for drinks and hanging out, I think this would be a great place. The waiter was very attentive and I believe the manager was the one that served us. I've never had a dry Cesar salad before. I didn't think a dry Cesar salad existed until today. Truly a let down for the Old Town prices. My friend and I's total price was $73. I'm willing to pay whatever for good food. This however made me sad because the food wasn't good. Cesar salad; not enough dressing. The added on $6 chicken bits were dry as hell. Towards the end it borderline hurt swallowing because of the dryness. I had to force it down which is a new one. Overall the meal needed more juiciness and tenderness. Never had anything drier in my life. My friend's salad; she said the only thing saving it was the goat cheese and the apples. Her $6 added on chicken bits were also dry as hell. The truffle fries; usually I've never had any complaints for truffle fries. But these fries were sad and soggy. It seemed like they made already soggy fries, added a shit load of truffle oil and served it w ranch and ketchup, making them soggier. I truly wasn't expecting such classic and easy meals to be such a let down. I went in thinking "oh I love Cesar salads and truffle fries". And this place completely shitted on them. Especially for that price point. For a $16 plus $6 add on chicken I would be expecting juicy, tender, big(ger) slices of chicken. Evenly coated and drenched greens with yummy dressing. Crispy, fresh, enhanced truffled fries. If this meal was advertised as a $5-$10 meal deal I'd be okay with it. Anyway, of course we paid and tipped but damn. read more
