Our first time here after a disappointing trip to a brewery down the road. This made the day so much better! The bartender greeted us upon opening the door and let us know it was open seating. He promptly came over and offered us water as we chose a drink and viewed the lunch menu. I think his name was Roger (he was great, super attentive, informative and helpful) The drinks were great. We shared a classic burger, it was a really good size to share and cooked perfectly! House made ketchup was perfect! The menu for dinner looks great, we can't wait to go back! My friends and I were so excited when Crush & Brew opened back up. However the last few times we have gone, the service was horrible (except for the food AMAZING as always) both times we went we were seated right away. This last time was the worst. It took over 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order (we wanted to leave but we were craving the Pork Belly fries) once our server took our drink order we let them know we were ready to order our food. Our food came out before we got our drinks. Which was nice because you can tell the food was made fresh since it was nice and hot and so good! We asked our server when we would be getting our drinks since our drinks already came out. We were told that they thought they had brought our drinks out "No you didn't" we we waited for our drinks. Finally we got our drinks but never got refills, even asked us if we would like refills. The restaurant was not busy so they couldn't use that as an excuse. We watched them all just talking with each other. Not once did a staff ask us if everything was good or if we needed anything. Wish I gave the time to the cook instead of the server. read more

On a very busy Sunday evening of Labor Day weekend, the overworked, but excellent hostess found a table for our group of four. She had to bus it herself to make it work! This is our go to date spot. We love the atmosphere, the beer, wine and cocktail selection as well as the ambiance. Try the Maid with fresh cucumber or the Moscow Mule with freshly juiced ginger! As for the menu, it's a solid selection of our favorites including Daragh's Caesar, the Crush Burger, and the Beef Marsala. We skipped the$30-40+ main courses, so I can't comment on those. For dessert, the cannoli pastry was perfect although the filling was a little too sweet, with the rest of the desserts looking very interesting. Disappointing service overall. We came in and the hostess (?) told us it was "open seating" so we chose a table. The place was less than half full on a random Wednesday night. We waited more than ten minutes before even being acknowledged by the same girl who told us we could choose where to sit... she brought us water, some menus, and said, "If someone doesn't help you soon I'll come back." Uh, ok. Clearly a poor system for assigning tables, but whatever. Another waitress (blonde) approached and asked if we'd been helped. Not really... my husband ordered a beer sampler and I tried to order a wine flight. Nope... have to wait 10 minutes to order, because "a lot of orders for those just came in and we're out of glassware." Really? Less than half full, remember, but they ran out of wine glasses. So I sat and watched my husband drink his beer, my wine came when he was finished, and needless to say we weren't super inclined to stay and order dinner after the ham-handed way we'd been handled so far. As for the food the main man and I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday and we both were pleasently surprised at the quality of the food. I had mussels and he had the mac and cheese. Good food, friendly service, and a great craft beer selection. Nice place to have lunch or dinner. I had one of the burgers which was cooked to a perfect medium rare. It had good flavor and was very juicy. My mom had one of the flat breads. It was a very generous portion and was very good. Their bacon parm fries are a must try as well! I really like that they have a great selection of local Temecula and San Diego beers on tap. If there was one thing I would recommend is that they get new chairs. This is a small issue and not something that should keep you from coming here. The current seats are metal chairs you would expect to find outside on a patio and are not very comfortable. That being said I highly recommend you come here to eat and enjoy some wine or craft beer. We will be back again and again! read more

I love this place! First time here was the beginning of the year and the staff and drinks are amazing. Chris and Josh were behind the bar when we walked in. Josh greeted us right away, even though it was insanely busy! He asked what we liked to drink (I'm indecisive when it comes to drinks) and between him and Chris, they came up with a great tequila drink! All of the drinks Chris makes are delicious, you can't go wrong with any of them. The salmon is the best thing you will ever eat, (along with the typical pretzel when you're drinking). Teddy is one hell of a chef! Trin always makes sure everything came out perfect and is always so attentive. Overall amazing staff, delicious food and the best drinks! We found the Crush and Brew as we were walking through the Old Town section of Temecula late on a Sunday afternoon. It smelled great from the outside and it was not crowded yet. We started with a couple of cocktails, an old fashioned and a gold rush. Both were made to perfection. Then we ordered a slam burger and a brew burger. The meat was very flavorful and the combination of the various other ingredients made for an incredible experience. Then there were the fries... I'm not sure what made them so special but they just "oh so good". With the food we tried four of the craft beers that they had on hand that night. Each one alone would have been worth stopping in for. Taken in it's entirety the meal was just great. I know the chef and the bartender have been complimented, but out server also deserves a high five. He walked us through some of the menu options and had a great personality. read more

Came here Sunday with my friends and family after wine tasting. I have been here before and always had a great experience. I happen to come across the negative racist reviews from my brown people.
