Stopped in here on 7/20/17 with the hubby. I ordered myself a glass of their Muscat Cannelli, it was just ok nothing I'd have to have again. We did however, really enjoy their Beer Cheddar Soup, it was VERY good. We also split their sliders, we opted for all three different options, and a basket of the Bacon Parmesan Fries. Everything tasted very good and we would love to go back and try some other items on their menu, I imagine it can get pretty busy during the evening and weekends, but we went during the late afternoon and parking was still difficult so I can imagine how it is during their peak times. But, if you have ever been to Old Town you should know that. I say give this place a try, I know we're going to give it another go. read more

My wife and I stopped in here for the first time last weekend. The decor and overall atmosphere is really nice. If you can get a spot near the street it's a great place to enjoy drinks and people watch. The service was nothing stellar and very slow. Our server seemed stressed and strained to appear pleasant. Drinks were slow, food was slow and I'm sure it had something to do with the fact that every seat in the house was taken. We shared appetizers and a meal which weren't anything special. I ordered a flight of beers which arrived after much delay. Our waitress had to prepare the flight; it was cool but not cold. For the price, the experience here was disappointing. I would certainly try dinner here again on a less crowded night but if the visit were the same it would probably be the last. read more

The food was very good, and beautifully presented. The menu had a lot of options - something for everyone in our party of 5. My only complaint was the service. It took 45 minutes to receive our meal of burgers. Meanwhile, our water glasses sat empty. We were only told one time what the delay was about ("we are very busy in back") - even though only half the tables were being used. I did notice that the tables that had ordered alcoholic beverages / cocktails were getting the full attention of the wait staff and received their meals much faster than us. We had opted not to order any alcohol during our meal. At one point one member in our party had to actually go to the bar to get her soda refilled! My friends had their destination wedding in Temecula and this was our day after brunch location. They have a nice sized private room in the back which was perfect for our small family and friends gathering. I have to say they serve up a fantastic Brew burger which I shared with my husband. It came with these amazing salt and vinegar fries that were the perfect cure for my wedding reception wine hangover. I love anything and everything salt and vinegar so they have a forever fan! We also ordered the pear and gorgonzola salad which was okay but didn't have quite the same wow factor as the burger. After our meal we loaded a bus to do a wine country tour and thank goodness we ate well because it prepared us well for a day full of drinking. I'd love to return in the future to enjoy their wine flights! read more

Honestly, the only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because of the horrible service we received. We arrived around 9:15 last night and was seated immediately. Score! We perused the menu & ordered drinks right away. 20 minutes later we were placing our food order, yet still hadn't received our drinks. Okaaay.... when we finally got our drinks, they were fantastic. I highly recommend the Bruce Banner & Diablito. Once our food finally came out, it was great. I ordered the pulled boar sandwich. It was very flavorful however it lacked any kind of condiment (no BBQ sauce on it, no mayo, nothing) so I had to order on the side. The Gorgonzola fries were good as well. Everyone else in the group loved their food. What we didn't love was how long it took to get our drinks as well as how long it took for our waitress to check up on us. By the time we had finally gotten our food & ate & finished, we had to wait awhile to get another drink, as well as ask for a box. When she finally came back, I wanted to order a dessert, but was told the kitchen had closed 45 min ago. It was about 11:15 when I asked. How come no one asked if we wanted to order anything else? Or let us know the kitchen would be closing. Where was our waitress at the time? Was absolutely disappointed in lack of communication. We spent 2 hours there & most of that was waiting on our waitress & our food/drinks. Smh. Not sure if I'll be back. read more

Food was good, drinks were expensive and the service was awful! We ordered the cheese sampler for $17. The cheese was plentiful and delicious with 4 varieties, candied walnuts, grapes, apple slices, honey and 4 little pieces of bread. We requested more bread, it took over 45 minutes to get 3 more small slices of baguette and they charged us an additional $2. Their fries were delicious! Their flat bread was also delicious. The drinks were around $11 each and they automatically added gratuity of 18% due to the size of our party. The waitress was too busy and should have had help, but definitely didn't deserve 18%. The bathrooms were unisex and they only had 2; which were absolutely disgusting!! I didn't want to touch anything!! It was a fun atmosphere and live music but unless I have to go there for some reason, I definitely will not, especially with so many choices in downtown. read more

This is my third time going here. I really like the atmosphere and the waiter we had was great. Their food is usually good too but tonight, I tried their tomatoes basil soup for the first time and it was SUPER salty. I thought it was just me but when I asked my friends how their soup was, they said they exact same thing as me. Now this doesn't mean I won't come back to this restaurant (because I will since my friends like coming here) but just be careful with the soup. We were looking for place to have a nice lunch prior to heading toward the wineries to celebrate my Daughter's Birthday. There were a couple of restaurants in Old Town Temecula that we have not yet tried. One of the newer places is this restaurant. We found street parking away from the main strip and walked a couple of blocks. We were seated right away. The host and servers were friendly. Even the bartender thanked us for dining with them, as we were leaving. The ambiance is pretty casual with some big screen TVs on sports channels. We ordered the Bacon Parmesan Fries, Three Cheeses Flatbread, Burger with Fries and a Reuben. The Bacon Parmesan fries were out of this World! Sooo yummy! The ketchup seemed like it was homemade. There was a hint of apple flavor in their ketchup. In the Reuben, the corn beef and sauerkraut was sandwiched in two big slices of foccacia bread that came with a tossed salad and potato salad. I never had a Reuben sandwich made like this before. The foccacia bread definitely made the Reuben sandwich special. It was a lot lighter in flavor. The potato salad was flavorful and full of spices. The food that we ordered was delicious! We will be back for more! read more

Went here a few weeks ago with my girlfriend, at first we were both excited with trying something new and different than our normal eateries. The menu options were perfect for us, I liked burgers and she liked steak, we started off with ordering the truffle fries which were delicious at first but felt a bit too oily the more we ate. We then waited a little over an hour for our food to come out, a bit longer than we were normally used to waiting, I understand waiting up to 45 minutes for food, the wait is worth it when the food is delicious but it wasn't. We waiting close to an hour and 15 minutes for the food to come out, by that time people that were seated after us were served before us. I ordered a burger so I assumed that my girlfriends steak was what was taking a while to cook but even then it felt a bit too long. The food once it arrived wasn't to my taste pallet, it felt a bit too powerful in taste, like I took a spoonful of all the spices. In the end we couldn't finish our food. I was only able to eat two bites of my burger and my girlfriend was only able to eat a quarter of her steak. We brought it home for family to try since we spent so much for something we didn't truly enjoy. I truly want this place to work for me and am more than likely going back to try something new and hopefully I can update my review to something better. On a positive note the man behind the bar made a great Tom Collins for me and he kept me updated on the status of our food. read more

OMG this was just a must when I saw the menu. The service was outstanding, Daniel was super helpful, friendly, and just fun to chat with. We got the tomato soup, grilled cheese, lobster mac and cheese, and the blackberry cobbler. Perfect rainy day food and it was pouring out! We had wanted to lobster bisque but since they were out, we got the tomato and we were not disappointed. Everything tasted amazing. Crappy service &&overpriced!! Went here for a friends birthday after wine tasting. We were a party of four and were there for THREE HOURS!! It wasn't even busy!! They had so many workers and hardly any customers. After the hostess seated us it took the waiter 20 minutes just to get us water. He then took our drink order and appetizers. The waiter came back with just the drinks and no appetizer. When I reminded him we got an appetizer he apologized that he forgot about it and went to go get it. Took him even longer to bring out our cheese & fruit plate which cost $17 bucks. We then put in our food order and half our party got their food and the other half didn't. The other waiters brought the rest of our food out about ten minutes later AND still forgot my fries. We waited on our waiter to bring us our check which took forever for him to even get to us. We had to keep asking other waitresses to go grab him. After he took our payments it took him another 45 minutes to even get us or cards back!! As we were watching him swipe our cards he looked at us as we waved him down and walked in a different direction. He then began grabbing other customers cards and not bringing ours back. I let the manager know how long we were there just waiting on this guy and how frustrated we were and he said "our computers went down and it takes 45 minutes to reboot, sorry" and walked away! Sorry, but how is that our problem?! Maybe you should communicate that to your customers and offer a way to make us feel better about your restaurant. The waiter never let us know what was going on and on top of that we went for a friends birthday and I asked the waiter if they do anything for birthdays and he rudely said no. The manager was so rude and inconsiderate! They are also way overpriced. You think that they're service would be spectacular with that price. Sadly mistaken. read more

If I could give zero stars I would!!! The service was horrible we waited 40 minutes to be served. Then our food was cold when it was served. The Chopped salad wasn't chopped and we ordered added steak on our salad it came in 2 tough chunks of cold undercooked slabs of meat. It was not edible! The pear salad had one canned pear on top and it was supposed to have candied walnuts but they just threw a few walnuts in ( not candied )straight from the package. Then when we went to the bathroom it was filthy!!! I wish we would have gone in there before we ordered. Maybe we would have had a clue that it was going to be so bad!! Don't waste your time. We were in Temecula for a girls wine tasting weekend. We decided to go to Old Town to get a bite to eat. We stumbled across the Crush and Brew and was pleasantly surprised by the cool patio that faces the main road that goes through Old Town. The night we were there, it so happed to be a classic car show cruise, which we had a front row seat to see from the patio. Everything about this place was awesome. The beer selection had a good variety of beers for the craft beer lovers, full bar, great service and good food. My only complaint is that I ordered the lettuce cups and the menu description said it came with an Asian Slaw. I though this was the perfect dish for keeping carbs and calories low. When the dish was served it looked great, lettuce was bib lettuce, with nice chunks of seasoned chicken on top of more lettuce and my slaw which I was most definitely looking forward to, but HIGHLY disappointed was dried out shredded cabbage, it was disgusting. They did have 3 sauces to put on the lettuce cups and when I complained about the Asian Slaw, if that's what they want to call it. They said the sauces are meant for you to dress the dried out cabbage yourself. I've made slaw at home and part of the process is to pre-dress it so it somewhat breaks down the toughness of the cabbage and when it's served it's a little wilted. Any who, it bugged me that I didn't get my Asian Slaw, but everything else was fantastic to say the least. I would go back, but I definitely won't order the dried out cabbage, I mean Asian Slaw. I am not really sure why this place got such good reviews? My husband and I have been wanting to try this place for a very long time. We are HUGE foodies, we love trying new restaurants and great food. We finally got the chance to come here on Easter, which was awesome that they were open. The place was pretty empty, and there were a very large number of waiters and staff walking around. The menu has a ton of delicious looking items! We sat for 10-15 minutes before our waitress took our drink order. It was neat that they had kids cups for drinks, but no kids menu - which confused me. Why have cups for kids and no kids menu? Anyways, thats not the problem. 15 more minutes passed, as the waitress walked over and asked if we want to order any food. Order any food? Umm, yes - we came here for lunch, not just for the Dr. Pepper I have sitting in front of me. I couldn't believe the slow service when there were barely any people there. We ordered the bread appetizer - and when we finished it, all our waitress did was take it from our table and set it down on the table next to us. Where it stayed the entire time we were there... Our food came out, and it was cold! My husband got a burger, I got the chicken pesto sandwich. I almost sent it back but I was starving at this point because of the long wait time. My daughter got the mac n cheese, which smelled horrible. She could barely choke it down it smelled SO bad. Our bill was so expensive, and I can't believe we just wasted all the money on such a bad experience. I usually give places a second chance, but I don't think we will be going back.
