Went to try it out on my sprained ankle. Initially didn't notice a huge difference, but the next morning it felt much better. Was initially on my way to Polar Cryotherapy, but they wouldn't accommodate 2 people at the same time and needed advance booking. I called up Cryospot and they said they didn't have any kind of reservation, and everything was walk in. Each person takes an average of like 10 mins from start to finish. I began training with my Coach Carlos from StayFitOC again and I saw that he had a large CryoSpot banner in his gym so I decided to check them out since they were near me. This is in a great area and they arguably have the BEST prices in all of Orange County. I tried it once and I was hooked! It helped alleviate my soreness and pain almost instantly! When I first found CryoSpot it was over a year ago in their old location. I had a lot of questions because I wanted my teenage daughter to receive the treatments for soccer injuries. The staff was super kind and helpful from the get go! I believe that these treatments speed up the healing process because my daughter had an ankle sprain recently and the Vegas showcase was coming up on the weekend. I was not sure she would be able to play because she was just cleared to start exercise again. After two spot treatments and one leg compression, she played all four games without a reinjury. GO TRY CRYOTHERAPY! Skeptics and all, I highly recommend. It's a gnarly experience for sure but I think it's definitely worth it. I decided to try it because I'm training for a marathon and wanted to find something to help my body recover as I increase my mileage. The employees are really friendly and explain everything so well. I went in with a yelp deal for whole body cryotherapy and actually got to try compression therapy and got a test of the facial. It's so gnarly but it totally works. I went home and took a nap and after waking up from the nap I feel the effects! None of those little aches and pains or soreness anywhere in my body! Compression therapy, simply put, is like a giant blood pressure test but for your legs (or whatever body part you choose) You can choose your upper body, core, or legs. Then you slip on the "suit" chill in a chair, and it expands around your body like the thing that takes your blood pressure at the doctor. This takes about 30 minutes. The whole body cryotherapy is definitely sort of uncomfortable, but you're only in there for 3 minutes and if need be you can have them stop early. I went the whole 3 minutes and it goes by fast! They'll have you change into a robe and it's your choice to keep underwear on or not. Then they give you socks, gloves, and slip on shoes. The chamber comes up to your shoulders and once you step inside you remove your robe and the chilling begins! I started shivering pretty quickly but the staff stays with you the whole time and the guy who helped me kept a conversation going with me the entire time which kept me distracted even though I was trying to talk through chattering teeth! If you're nervous to try this do a little research on the process and the benefits or call! I'm sure the staff would be happy to ease any anxiety you have about it. You don't need an appointment as well. It's so quick that you'd never wait long so you can go anytime. From what I've learned, there are seemingly endless benefits of cryotherapy from recovery for athletes to fibromyalgia relief to depression and anxiety relief. Plus, it's only 3 minutes so why not try it! I will definitely be back! read more

By far the best cryotherapy center I've visited. After running in several marathons and half marathons, I took up cryotherapy for recovery on the long training runs. I've been able to visit centers in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and other in OC, but CryoSpot remains simply the best. The owners, Aida and Vic, go out of their way to make sure that every visit is a good one. The new location offers full-body cryotherapy, compression, spot treatments, and facials--all of which have been incredible and extremely helpful. I've had numerous issues with my knees over the last few months and the center made sure that I received the recovery I needed before and after the recent LA marathon. I went back on Saturday and met Victoria and he was very kind and helpful as well. he did the spot treatment on my back and left shoulder and i had so much relief from the pain. he did a thorough job and and made me feel very relaxed. I told him I've been having joint pain on my lower back, and, and hands, and feet recently and he was very helpful and told me to try bands exercise as well as trying out the inverted table for exercise and rather than treadmill, he advised me to do cycling. because treadmill can put pressure on my lower back. I had absolutely no intentions of trying cryotherapy out- I went with my husband and even told Vic not to even bother telling me about the benefits because I hate the cold and will not do it! After seeing my friend and husband do it, and remembering how Vic said it helps with muscle soreness and recovery which I was in desperate need of due to a heavy leg day, I decided what the heck, if 3 mins of ridiculous coldness could help alleviate the soreness I had due to my workout I would give it a shot. It was cold but not unbearable, and not as cold as -150 degrees sounds like. Immediately after I got out, I could tell a HUGE difference. I am on a strict workout program, and plan on continuing to go to Cryospot to help relieve my aches and get me ready for the next workout. Vic was very knowledgable and never once made me feel forced to try it. Comfortable environment and out of the many options, you should definitely try Cryospot out over the rest!
