I was given price estimates for different options such as repairing just the broken segments vs. replacing the entire line. That sealed the deal for me, as my experience with a lot of service repair people is that they want to sell you the most expensive option. Getting solid, honest advice is worth its weight in gold. I appointed them to clean all the drains for all the bathrooms and kitchen while refreshing/remodeling our home. George came to my unit to clean the drains. I trusted them to do their work thoroughly without any supervision. They spent less than 45 mins to clean 3 bathrooms and a kitchen. That raised a few flags for me. I didn't see any hoses running from their truck to my unit but I thought they might be using some new technique to clean the drains. I paid $650 to George in good faith. Then my contractor told me that the water was shut off and it was never turned on during drain cleaning. I got concerned so we opened a few pipes to check the quality and it was a total mess. They charged me for cleaning nothing. When I reported this to the owner, he told me that George spent 3 hours at my unit which is a total lie and they would re-clean the drains if the water is not running properly. Total scam. Thank you to Alex and Uriel for diagnosing and working on our weird plumbing issues (older home). We had tried to snake a line from our washing machine to clear what we then thought was a clogged line. Turns out it was far more extensive. Disappointed that the man who came to do the estimate was not the same as the 2 plumbers who came to do the job. One of the two plumbers that came to our house was either high or something was wrong with him. He was spitting and mumbling while he worked. I would advise the business owner not to use this worker. Back to the work done, they got the job done but I'm mostly pissed at the mess the plumber mentioned above made. While fixing the valve outside, he trampled on bushes, left a soldering mess on the bricks (we can't clean it up) and white powder all over the flower bed. The other plumber did a good job. I don't think I'd call again due to the mess and unprofessionalism of the other plumber. read more

I list my kitchen sink replacement project on Angie's List, and Alex called to bid on the project. Communications were good at beginning! However, on the service day, I needed to follow up with him on the arrival time, and found out that Alex misplaced my phone number and address. Installation were completed all right, other then the incident that Alex broke the nut (under the sink) that need to hold the top panel (this is a brand new kitchen faucet set). But since the remaining nut still hold the panel, I let this one go. I put paper napkins under the sink to make sure there were no leaks after the installation. Two days later, several napkins were dampened. I called Alex and asked for help on the leaks. First, he did not recall the installation; second, he said he will call me back since he is working at the moment. But he never called back. When I followed up and called him again, the phone never picked up and I was transferred to his voice mail. However, the voice mail system is "full" to take any message. I am not very please with this services at all. read more

Alex came to clear a clogged drain that I'd snaked in the past but kept backing up. We quickly identified where the blockage was located. First he found a cleanout and snaked it to clear it enough to let the water go down. Then he completely pulled apart the assembly where several drains joined, and he cleared the pipes by hand. I hadn't thought to do this before. We found a hard clump of material that the snake couldn't clear, which had caused multiple buildups in the past and it's gone now. Like an egg-sized kidney stone in my pipes. Ugh. Then we noticed a small corrosion hole in the iron pipes the assembly connected to. I'd been planning on replacing these for a couple of years and had most of the parts on hand so we bit the bullet and went ahead and did the work together. We cut the thing out, assembled a replacement, and had the job done in less than a couple hours. The parts I didn't have on hand, he was able to provide from his truck. His fee for the extra work was very reasonable too. I'll call him back the next time I have any plumbing issue, for sure. read more

Unprofessional and pushy. Within the first 3 minutes on the phone, he's asking "if we come are you ready to pay and start the work right away?" Sure, if the price is right and the schedule works and the plumber seems to be on the level. After that, I arrange to be ready: clean out the space, arrange to be home from work, ready to turn off the gas and water... they don't show up. They don't call. read more

3 Stars for efficiency. However, there's pros and cons for everything. They will quickly return a phone, come out and give an estimate. I called for a shower leak; $150 to replace the cartridge. A year later, the problem is back. :/ No warranty, receipt was written horribly and at the time I didn't consider this because I was happy the problem was "fixed." If only there's a warranty for the previous work it will be better because now my water bill is expensive. read more

We had worked with Alex before, so we didn't hesitate to call him back again for a different leak, and a toilet that was making a loud noise every time we flushed. I liked the fact that if Alex was running late he would call, so we weren't waiting around. He was professional, and respectful of our home, however within a weeks time we had to call Alex back again to revisit the same leak. It was a small problem which was fixed in minutes. For small Plumming projects we would still call Alex back because he's honest; professional, and you can trust that if the job is not to your satisfaction Alex will return without charging another fee. Friday night I had a back up in my toilet which began to overflow into the tub, tried the home liquids then equipment. After all this it was late Sat. Afternoon, began calling plumbers on yelp that were open for estimates. After a few calls the only one able to come out the soonest with a fair price and was negotiable was Alex. Returned my call 10mins tops.Alex came out After trying for a couple hours the snake was not able to clear past 80ft so a full clear out was not possible which we wanted in order to prevent this happening again. At this time we were already reaching evening hours. After talking and negotiating we decided to get further work and get an access drained installed outside. Alex came next morning and found that our main pipe was broken, which we already had a huntch there was a leek due to our grass always being green in one area without watering. Alex got the job done and cleaned in a little less than 4 hours and guarantees his work with coming back and repairing if we have any issues . So far everything is flowing great and I am pleased with the work done and price. Well update my review in a month or so if we are still flowing free and if there were any issues. These guys are a bunch of "rip off artists". Kept giving me the run around on a quote, first said it included parts, then said it didn't. Then I said i would pay for the parts. Came over to start the job, they apparenly get another job somewhere else. Buddies show up and dont seem to be too happy to be at my place. Tell me they will stay only if we rip up the entire system which is going to cost $$$ more (apparently this determination could not be made when Alex came to scope the project, and for some reason this is the only way my issue can be addressed). When I asked Alex and his team to be reasonable and stick to close to what was orginally quoted, I got the "have a good day" and "i can make more at the other place" and the left in a hurry. Wasted my time with the quote, the back and forth and also having me take the day off to be present for the job. read more

I had a root clog routered out 8 years ago and a front yard cleanout installation was recommended. I put it off to see how long I could go, and a month ago it happened again, so I thought I could repeat my luck and get another 8 years, ha. Alex cleared it with a snake but suggested the front cleanout also. Well, after just happening again, Uriel recommended the front cleanout because the clay drain was going to the street between 2 trees. I resisted based on knowing we could just grind the root out again and considered calling another rooter guy to do it. Now for the compliment: Uriel remained calm and described the merits of the front cleanout. He explained the procedure, assured me he had all the proper tech equipment/supplies/expertise/reputation, he'd send pictures of the progress since I live 80 miles away and am renting the house out. I axed for the website and saw online the same credentials he described. At that point, my attitude had changed, so I decided to go for it and approved the job.
