When I come in for an appointment, it's not even a conversation of what "color" I want. CRYSTAL JUST KNOWS. I've been coming to here long enough for her to understand my needs and wants!! I always HATE it when people try to upsell you on their products and always corner you into buying their products, but you can definitely not worry about that here. Crystal always gives you real tips and tricks and even suggest products that you can buy yourself to help maintain your hair. Not only that - she always always gives me notes on skincare/makeup as well. Ugh, I can't stress enough how amazing Crystal is!! Location: Her studio is located in a salon but it's upstairs apart from everyone else so there's privacy. The salon is located in old town Orange so sometime the parking area can get a little busy, but nonetheless there's always street parking and even parking across the street. My hair journey has been a struggle, to the point where I was hesitant to trust hair colorists. I finally came to the point where I was willing to let somebody color my hair, and once I saw Crystal on a few YouTube videos, I felt a bit more at ease knowing my hair would be in good hands. Going in, I wasn't sure on the terminology. I just assumed I wanted a balayage. Crystal was so informative, letting me know what she was doing with my hair, adding in baby lights, which I didn't even know was a thing. I also needed a trim and again did not know what I really wanted, so I just mentioned how I wanted texture and that's all she needed to hear to give me a great haircut! I've been going to Crystal for about a year now and it was the best hair decision I've ever made. She is so knowledgeable and will they you know how to treat your hair at home to maintain its color and integrity. I will say, that getting your hair to a desired point is a process and does require money and patience. However, Crystal does not pressure you to come back immediately, and she is very understanding. Long over due review! Crystal seriously is the BEST in Orange County for hair:) I have been goin to crystal for about 3 years now and she never disappoints. I went from dark box hair dye to silver blonde hair. It was a long process but it wouldn't have been done without crystal, my hair doesn't get as damaged with her despite how much bleaching I have done she always knows how to cut my hair.
