Hairdresser Karen.. This morning Hairdresser Karen harassed me about a Cup of Noodles Cup being left near my car.. parked in front of her business. She said.. you dropped that Cup of Noodles Cup.. I looked down at the half torn Cup and said.. no.. that is not mine.. Then she said well.. you aren't supposed to park here.. (only car parked there out of 6 spaces). Found this place off of Groupon and got a great deal on a Brazilian blowout. Michelle was super cool and got me in and out of there within 3 hours. I have very thick, frizzy hair and it turned out how I wanted it. The salon is cute, yet kind of hard to find if you don't have GPS. Since discovering this place, I haven't been anywhere else. I've found my hair to be tough to deal with, yet I've always been really impressed with how good it looks when I walk out. I've always used Michelle, who also has a great knowledge of product which I never used before, and makes a huge difference. Thanks Michelle for all the time and effort spent on my haircut and Brazilian Blowout! I had done a ton of research on Brazilian Blowouts, to make sure I knew what I was investing in, and I have to say, I absolutely love the results and will definitely keep getting them done with Michelle at Hot Rod Hair! My hair is now completely frizz free thanks to the BB, and all my dead ends are gone thanks to Michelle and her skillful cut. I distrusted hair salons for many many years because no matter how much money I paid for expensive hair cuts ($80 plus!) I wasn't able to find someone who knew how to capture the look I wanted. I have naturally wavy hair that is fairly coarse, and looks best with super layered cuts. And not cut with razors! as a lot of salons do if you ask them for a very layered look. So I had been cutting my own hair for years. But Michelle understood my request to not use a razor on my wavy hair, and proceeded to cut a very layered with scissors. I love the hair cut, Michelle! As for the Blowout, it was everything I expected and wanted it to be. Michelle is certified in Brazilian Blowouts, which I was super grateful to find out as there are salons out there that claim to do them, but aren't actually certified or use the Brazilian Blowout branded products. Michelle was true to the real BB process, and, now, after a week of washing, drying, and styling my hair and normal, my hair looks and feels healthy, feels so smooth and soft, and my styling time has literally been cut by 80%! With good maintenance, the BB should last almost 3 months! The salon is a little bit hard to find, but its super cute and clean inside.
