Started of calling around to see who can see me right away, because I wanted to do my nails last minute. Wasn't too happy at all. I mean yes, I was fitted in as a walk in. But I was cut on my thumb, it's barely not even a full week after& it's lifting so much. Also my left index finger has a huge gap. She was working on me at first, then the girl who finished her pedi sat down& waited but she made us switch saying my nails needed to dry because she just plopped on the powder. I waited a good 15mins& she finished her up& had me sit back in the seat. There was other techs there, not sure why she juggled us both like that.. but overall, not sure if I'd go back. Do NOT go to this nail salon! I would give 0 stars if that were an option. I visited today and asked about options for my dip nail set. The nail tech recommended removing the dip set. She used a plastic, fake nail to pry the dip set off my natural nails. This tore the tips of my natural nails and caused both of my thumb nails to split down the side. Ouch!! Avoid this place!! Lastly, I tipped $7 on this $28 service because I would feel guilty not tipping. But I will NEVER go back to this place. read more

I used to love going to Vicky and her daughter for my mom and I's pedicures but recently had a bad experience with removal of acrylics for my grandma. Tina used a fake nail to pop off her acrylics almost making her cry when I tried to confront her she said she did not speak English. Vicky is not confrontational as the owner of the business so Tina just does as she pleases. Very unprofessional. Will not be coming back. This used to be my favorite place but after this experience they've lost 4 customers. Tina can get in big trouble for cracking fingernails like that. The salon is small but cute, there's about 4-5 pedicure massage jet chairs and about 4-5 manicure tables The owner/manager is very sweet and kind she insures you enjoyed your service when at checkout she also takes note of the service quality performed by the nail tech(s) Helen was my tech for a full set. I paid 65$ for the full tip plus a solid gel color. I asked for stiletto hot pink on nude pink French and left with coffin pink jelly nails. I told the tech 3 times that the shape was incorrect and she seemed to not understand me I really didn't wanna complain bc I didn't feel like doing them myself how ever every times I asked her to fix something or to reshape and file the tech seemed to become annoyed I had 2 crooked nails and one was shorter than the rest (not that noticeable) When it came time to polish my nails she did the color extremely far from the cuticle I asked as nicely as I could with out seeming agitated if she could get closer to the cuticle and she looked confused she got gel Polish into my cuticles as well as acrylic The manager asked me before I left if I enjoyed my service I was so annoyed I just said yes paid then left Day 3 of having my acrylics on and my index finger and middle finger nails have popped off my ring finger and my pinky finger are lifting My right hand seems to be okay minus the fact my index figure is lifting Thankful I can take them off and do them my self but for those who can't I'd recommend asking for the manager to do them or finding somewhere else to go I really can't be mad I knew this could happen I just hope the tech I had practices her shaping and acrylic application a little more the price I paid wasn't worth the set I left with especially considering the tech seemed to lack experience read more

Providing an update I still love my acrylics and for the wonderful job she did and the price I'll probably be back. As for my pedicure I will most likely never get it done here again. Originally the lady had said I had some Ingrown toe nails but I didn't really think so she pulled them out and made sure to be careful the one on my right big toe is fine no problems but my left big toe is swollen and I'm a lot of pain it's been 4 days now and it hurts to even walk. I will most likely go to drs and ensure it's not I texted but I would say perhaps next time make sure they listen when you tell them it's hurting. read more

This is my second time coming to get my nails done here. The first time I came was in February before I went on my Hawaii trip and I was not pleased at all. Cindy who did my pedi was great and the owner or managers daughter did my mani and I was not pleased what's do ever! My mani was so bad that Cindy had to redo my nails. Now I know I could do my own and I chose to come here but that was ridiculous. So Cindy is no longer with this salon which made me very sad BUT I wanted to give them a second chance to redeem themselves. So of course I get stuck getting my pedi done by the same girl who previously did my mani and omg I totally regret it! I should have paid attention to my gut feeling when walking in! I paid $40 for the #8 pretty much they best pedi package and I didn't even get my toes painted (my choice because she had an appointment waiting) which I'm glad I made that decision. I can really see what toenails look like and no joke this girl did not even cut my toe nails correctly. I am so upset sitting in my car right now looking at my feet. I went back to the shop and showed my nails as well as explain the situation to Vicky the manager ( owner). I used to come here when I used to get acrylics. Maybe 3 or 4 years ago. This nail shop is a small size . The staff is ALWAYS friendly. There is sometimes a bit of a wait. The quality of the services is very good. Prices are kind of high for this type of salon. I didn't like how my eyebrows were done here. She would wax, thread and tweeze the eyebrows that I BARELY had. That just isn't right because when you thread eyebrows correctly you shouldn't have to clean up with tweezers or wax. Just saying. I had a pretty poor experience this last weekend at Crystal Nails. My mother in law and I went into their store around 430 on Saturday to get two pedicures and a manicure. As soon as we got into the salon we were told they were doing a money drop at the bank and requested we pay before our service. I didn't much mind this at first as I've worked in businesses that have had to do the same if there is some kind of deadline. I soon felt however that by the time I left, my "paying" upfront seemed to leave me no recourse for expressing my unsatisfactory experience. I was asked to pick a color from the polish wall and about maybe 30 seconds into looking I was approached by one of the ladies who asked what I wanted. I explained I was still looking. After making my selection and informing them of the service I was looking for, I was told the total was $86.00. Everything started going horribly wrong after sitting down in the salon chair. My finger nails are super sensitive and I've always HATED getting my nails shaved with the drill . Because of this I'm always a little anxious during that part of the process but as soon as it's over I'm able to relax. As my manicurist sat down to begin, I could IMMEDIATELY tell she was in a hurry to be done...and or super irritated to have another customer. She kept dropping items in her hast and when the drilling began kept yanking my hands towards her. I was prepared for the few minutes of shaving but for what ever reason, this manicurist kept going over and over and over my nails with the shaver. While she was drilling, she kept looking up and over her shoulder to talk to various other techs in the shop. I had no problem with her talking BUT while she was talking she seemed to forget to keep the drill moving and it would begin to burn my nail bed. I had to pull my hands away from her several times to stop the burning. The manicurists would spout a quick "sorry" before beginning her drilling again. Additionally, during one over the shoulder conversation, the drill left my nail and ended up on the side of my finger causing a little abrasion to the side of my finger. After the drilling, the manicurist started in on shaping. I had coffin shaped nails and though she never asked I assumed she would know based on the shape to keep them the same...that's on me for not speaking up earlier. After a second bout of drilling along the top of my nails she started in on the shaping. My manicurist again continued looking everywhere but my nails during conversation and at one point cut the side of another finger with the file! It started bleeding so I got up to wash my hands and grab some paper towels to keep the blood from getting anywhere unsafe. The manicurist immediately started explaining I had a hang nail but I 100% knew I didn't have a hang nail on the very tip of my finger. During the color application, my manicurist forgot the colors I wanted and on what fingers I was hoping to have the color on. I had asked for my ring finger to be a darker shape and matte. She added the color and put the normal gel shine. I reminded her of the matte color request and she hastily put in on my nail to dry. During the last few minutes of my service, my manicurist kept saying how she was sorry but I had a hang nail and that it looked just fine. I know this is long...sorry I was just super frustrated even a day later. I don't usually leave reviews and feel its sometimes unfair because reviews often seem over exaggerated but this experience was just so awful I had to share. I use to call this salon my home salon as it was the closest place to my house and had a great atmosphere but after a previous experience of their over use of the nail drill and their hasty jobs I moved on to another salon. This recent attempt to give this place a second chance just proves to me why I left in the first place. I can totally understand wanting to be done with your day and get customers in and out quickly but there has to be some kind of limit to the hastiness. The quality of your work shouldn't be forgotten with the need to be quick ESPECIALLY when you charge your customers $86 dollars for your service. read more
