Also, my husband's glasses had a defect that developed a few days short of a year after he got them and they replaced the frames for free. I really like that this office has a small town feel to it. The doctor takes time to explain everything instead of rushing you out of there like a mall place would. I also liked her selection of frames. She tends to keep current with the trends as well as offer some unique choices. Just because it is a smaller office doesn't mean the choices are limited. Check her out. She's awesome.

When I asked her why haven't received drops in my eyes for dilation, she replied, "We don't do that anymore. Nobody does." I will have surgery for that but first needed to pass my vision test for my DL renewal . Dr Yeh spent a ton of time and effort to get my prescription just right - she was more thorough than any eye care professional I've seen previously - that includes ophthalmologists, too. She made time for me and never seemed rushed despite how busy her schedule is. As a patient, I believe it is completely reasonable to ask questions and participate in decisions regarding my own health. I also felt that the focus was more on financial aspects than on patient care. Eye health is important, and patients should feel that their well-being is the top priority--not sales or additional charges. A successful healthcare practice requires not only technical skill but also strong communication, empathy, and professionalism. Customer service and patient relationships are essential in any medical setting. I truly believe that additional training in patient communication and customer care would greatly benefit this practice. Based on my experience, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. I had an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience with the receptionist, Jen. When I…read moreasked to speak with a manager to escalate a concern, she repeatedly disconnected my calls instead of assisting me. Jen was extremely rude and acted as though the clinic's main phone number was her personal number and she could simply decide whether or not a patient was allowed to escalate a concern. I repeatedly requested the manager's email address or another way to contact management, and she refused to provide either and continued hanging up on me. A receptionist's job is to assist patients and facilitate communication with the appropriate staff--not prevent patients from reaching management when they have a legitimate concern. Repeatedly disconnecting calls because a patient is asking to escalate an issue is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Spectrum Eye Physicians should seriously review how escalation requests are being handled at the front desk and Jen's conduct toward patients.

I did not use their service, I only drove a friend here for their eye appointment, he reports that…read morethey were very nice, they took his insurance (The Medi-Cal VSP) for the exam, but did not have any glasses that were covered in full by the plan, so he was unable to get glasses that he desperately needs. I told him to ask for his PD measurement so we could order him some online for cheap, and they wanted to charge him 35$ for this measurement. I took him home and looked up how to do it, and got his measurement fine in no time. So just in case you are curious, it's very easy to get the measurement, if you have a metric ruler. You have the person look straight ahead and you measure the distance in millimeters between the centers of their pupils, double checking that the center of the bridge of their nose hits in the middle. If the nose hits off center, then you have two pd's the one from center left eye to center nose and the one from center right eye, to center nose. If they are even, you have one number, and that's the total from pupil center to pupil center. It literally would have taken them two seconds to give him this number, they just want to force him to give them 35$, to pay a fee for not buying glasses from them because they will not take his insurance for the glasses, when he clearly does not have 35$ as he is on Medi-Cal. So that was pretty awful of them.

Dao was so good at getting me ready to see the Dr. Back in 2023, the front desk wasn't that nice. I don't remember her name, maybe because she didn't make an impact on me.

I was in Old Town Los Gatos to have lunch with some friends and was thrilled to see a Warby Parker in the same shopping mall! After lunch, we made a beeline to Warby Parker, where I signed in for service. A few minutes later, Greg adjusted my glasses and tightened the screws, and I walked out a happy customer! This is a bright and clean establishment with friendly and helpful employees. Will I return? You bet!
