A real gem! I have never seen another restaurant in the US offering a croquette sandwich! If you know how much work goes into making croquettes you know this is special. The ham croquettes are fried in corn meal and a taste amazing. Order them alone or better in a pressed sandwich here! Ask them to hold the ketchup and mustard and use just mayo instead. Trust me as a Cuban growing up this is how we ate these. I ordered the deluxe croquette sandwich which combines it with ham and cheese. My only issue is the ham and cheese were cold. Removed. Skipping those as everything is better hot and melty with Cuban sandwiches. The fried plantains were wonderful. Ask for salt to salt these babies! We Cubans love our salted food! It's too hot to eat outside right now but the place has a great retro look and is meant for drive through and pick up. Now I need to keep driving across GA to eat this wonderful food!

This was a really fabulous lunch. I wish I lived closer and I would come here all the time. I absolutely believe the Cuban sandwich was the best one I've ever had. The meat was perfectly seasoned tender and juicy. I love the bread as well. It was Cuban bread that had a crispiness to it but it was also soft. They balance those two perfectly so that you didn't have to tear off bites with your teeth but a provided a great texture as well. They gave a perfect assortment of condiments and pickles on the sandwich too and the fries were very good. The price was also super cheap so it's one of the best values you can find as well. Lastly, they were also very fast. I love that they have a drive-thru that you can hit and keep going when you're in a hurry but don't have to settle for chain fast food. If I'm in the area I'm definitely stopping by again.

Don't let the atmosphere fool you. This is amazing chef made Cuban food. Took the whole family and I couldn't keep up with all the "this is the best" ... I've ever had. Stop by and let Chef Joel make a Cuban sandwich or a "best potato ball I've ever had".

Take out, half a Cuban with rice and beans.

So I frequent the business next door on weekends and this place was always closed, then I actually read about Cuban Cafe and well it's open M-F, come to find out they use the place for catering on weekends. Went for lunch, the lady taking the order was super helpful, explained everything on the menu and just had a wonderful positive attitude. I got a Cuban sandwich with two sides, rice and beans. The sandwich was wonderful and both sides were excellent, only wish, I wanted an extra pickle slice on my sandwich, otherwise so awesome. I did try the fried plantains and chicken empanadas and both were excellent. I really couldn't recommend this establishment more. Note on the seating, it's all outside, there are several tables with umbrellas so if it's windy or raining get it to go like I did.

Cuban Cafe in Flowery Branch (Oakwood) opened up shortly ago and they hit the Cuban sandwich spot!! I typically like to tag the locations but I don't see them on social media yet Pictured here is their MEDIA NOCHE sandwich (roasted pork, smoked ham, swiss cheese, pickles and mustard) and their CROQUETTE sandwich along with a chicken and beef empanadas. Both empanadas pair up very well with their cilantro sauce but I preferred the chicken empanada, very flavorful. They also have a pink sauce available if that's what you prefer. Cuban sandwiches can sometimes suffer of dryness but not at this spot! Their roasted pork was so tender and juicy, it took care of that issue I normally find with these type of sandwiches. The bread was perfectly pressed and easy to eat. Some may think the sandwich is smaller than the usual Cuban sandwich but for 10 bucks, $12 if you elect to have a meal with a side and a drink, this is a delicious steal of a meal. Their dining area is outside with some nice umbrellas and music (no indoor) so it may be difficult with this heat wave we've had lately but even with the heat, I was very happy. You'll get all your goodies in a big ol brown shopping bag so just place your order at the window, grab your drink and sit down for some good Cuban food! They do have a drivethru if you elect to skip the whole heat thing but why not pretend like it's just Cuban heat!! By the way... side of french fries, rice and plantains were all delicious although I wish I had cheese to go along with my platanos Check them out and help support our local small food businesses!! #rolieats #goodeats #goodfood #rolireview #cubanfood #cubansandwich #medianoche #croquette #croquettesandwich #empanadas #dinner #newfoodbusiness #flowerybranch #happybelly

Empanadas are all served with a white garlic sauce. Delicious! $3 each. Woman at service counter is friendly and the food comes out hot and quickly. Also Empanadas are good large size, not like these pathetic small ones I see often at other restaurants.

Oh my gosh how I wish Lucky Goat Coffee was in my neighborhood in Southern California! It was such…read morea pleasant experience to find this coffeehouse and met the baristas. The coffee was fantastic! The vibe was calm and welcoming and there were so many delicious and creative options we ran out of traveling days to even make a dent in their menu! I can't wait to come back and visit. If you want excellent coffee and are looking for unique flavors you gotta try this place. Even just black coffee is so smooth and not bitter. My sample was nice and hot too. The quality of coffee here is definitely top notch and one not to miss if you love coffee like I do! The first visit, on a crisp 33 degree morning, I ordered a large Goat Bomb cold brew and a large Lucky Bomb cold brew. The Goat Bomb is cold brew with espresso. The Lucky Bomb is their exclusive vanilla powder with cream and espresso. In both cups you tasted delicious coffee flavor that wasn't watery or burnt tasting. It was smooth and aromatic. The coffee flavor came through the creamer easily so you still knew you were drinking coffee and not just milk with a hint of coffee. It was hard to pace myself and make it last the morning. While I was waiting for my order, I started chatting with Melissa, who was creating my coffee drinks. She recommended that on my next visit I had to ask for the cold brew blend that they specially make for the holidays called "Snowflake Crunch". I was so intrigued that she even provided me with a small sample. It was fantastic. I had actually wished my current order she was making included that option of cold brew, but in the end it meant I was determined to return the next day to try it. Snowflake Crunch is a combination of vanilla, hazelnut and cinnamon flavors. But it isn't candy sweet like you'd think, it is a balanced mix of holiday spirit in your mouth. I was so grateful I made time to met Melissa. Her recommendation made my experience in the coffeehouse so much more than a cup of coffee. I felt "lucky" to find Lucky Goat Coffee and I know you will too!

Hands down the best coffee and breakfast spot in Gainesville!…read more We've lived in Gainesville for a while and have tried all the new coffee shops that have popped up around the Square recently. While the new spots are fine, we decided to revisit Inman today. In my opinion, they're still the best coffee shop in town. First, the coffee quality is on another level. You can really taste the pride they take in selecting their beans. I ordered the "Fresh Start" latte with coconut milk, and it was easily the best latte I've had in Gainesville. They have the most impressive selection of non-dairy options I've seen. Most places only carry oat or almond, so finding coconut milk was a huge win for me. They also have a massive coffee menu with specialty items I haven't seen elsewhere, like a Breve! My husband got an iced mocha and a panini and absolutely loved both. Second, the food menu is incredible, especially if you have dietary restrictions. I have gluten and dairy sensitivities, and usually, my options are limited. Inman has the biggest gluten-free menu in the area--GF muffins, brownies, and actual GF bread options. I got the avocado toast on gluten-free bread topped with scrambled eggs. The bread was delicious (not cardboard-like at all!), the avocado was fresh, and the eggs were perfect. If you've been distracted by the newer shops, do yourself a favor and go back to Inman. Between the extensive menu, the high-quality coffee, and the dietary options, they are beating the competition by a mile.
