    Grilled chicken burrito bowl
    Walter I.

My first time here and ordered a burrito bowl with grilled chicken. I was surprised at how big the portion was. See the photo. It had all the expected stuff on it plus more. I could only eat half and took the rest home for another meal. This was definitely worth the price ($14).

Three of us tried this hopping restaurant. When you walk in it is crowded & emits a fun & authentic vibe. The food at other tables looks amazing! We apparently ordered the wrong dish, because our experience surely wasn't matching the experience of others. We each ordered a Cuban sandwich. I've had many of these at other restaurants & they have been so excellent. The Cuban here was really bad. Again though, I think the other food we saw at other tables would have made our experience a great one. Our Cuban sandwiches had the correct Cuban bread for sure. But the meat was not roast pork...it was truly like a piece of bologna...yikes! The filling was sparse & lacking flavor & truly disappointing. However, I'm going to return again & try something else, because as I mentioned, literally ALL the food at other tables looked excellent.

I can't believe the reviews, so I must have (silly me) ordered the wrong thing. What did I get? Funny you ask. A CUBAN. The 2* are for the bread. The meat in the sandwich is delicious cuts you'd get at subway. The flavor has a unique taste, especially when you bite into a black peppercorn. Something tastes like Mexican inside a sauce. Skip the Cuban, it's kinda disgraceful and if I wasn't so hungry I'd have thrown it away (to go order).

Love this place for Mexican tacos & it's 30 sec from my job. Quick Covid update: The tables are distanced, there's stickers on the ground, and the staff has masks and gloves. Sanitizer by the door when you come in and the food is great family food. It's like mom's cooking was so good they opened a restaurant. Do yourself a favor and swing by for Taco tuesday.

Favorite Cuban and Mexican food in the Tampa Bay Area. Great customer service and menu. Tacos are a must, best I've ever had.

The breakfast burrito here is amazing and very large for the price. We came here looking for a good brunch and got exactly that.

Each dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared, and there was so much variety that it made the meal really fun to enjoy and share. Our server, Robert, was fantastic! He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal without ever feeling rushed. His great service really added to the experience. The atmosphere, food, and service all came together for such a memorable dinner. If you're in Clearwater, Columbia Restaurant is definitely worth a visit--we would absolutely come back again!

You can watch boats cruise by while you eat. The best spots are on the open outdoor deck or at a table next to the large windows. Inside, the dining room is decorated in a Mediterranean style. It features colorful Spanish tiles, lush tropical plants, and authentic artwork. The famous historic 1905 salad originally created in 1905 was made table side by Tossing 4 cups of chopped iceberg lettuce, 1/2 cup julienned ham, 1/2 cup julienned Swiss cheese, 1 ripe chopped tomato, and 1/2 cup green Spanish olives. Top with Romano cheese, Worcestershire sauce, fresh lemon juice, and a tangy garlic dressing. The flavor is great and it's a nice light healthy option. 9/10 The Ropa Vieja was Originally introduced to Cuba by Spanish sailors. The name means "old clothes" because the choice beef is shredded, sautéed and simmered with onions, green peppers and tomatoes. Served with platanos and white rice. 9/10 The Shrimp Salteado came with Jumbo shrimp sautéed in exra-virgin olive oil, sliced Spanish onions, green peppers, fresh garlic, mushrooms, diced potatoes, chorizo and red wine. Served with yellow rice. 9/10 For dessert, the flan is one of the best I have ever tasted. The recipe dates to 1935 when the Columbia opened Tampa's first "Conditioned Air" dining room, the Don Quixote. Our grandmother and great-grand-mother, Carmen Hernandez, helped the Columbia gain national fame with her great recipes, especially her flan. Spanish caramel egg custard, prepared the old-fashioned way, using only the best natural ingredients. 9/10 Our server was friendly and informative and our food came out in a timely manner. If you're in the Sand Key or Clearwater area and craving some authentic Cuban food in a classy atmosphere with a nice view of the water, i highly l recommend visiting the Columbia Restaurant.

Great setup and location. Casual setup with great beach views. Solid service that was quick and clean bathrooms. Disappointing margarita flight. For the size and quality of the margaritas, not worth it. However, the trio dip was delicious. We both got items with the barbacoa and the flavor and seasoning was spot on. Highly recommend. Even being a local though, I'd certainly visit this restaurant. It sits right on the marina with views all the way around. Unfortunately for us it was raining during our visit, so we weren't able to get a taste of their vast rooftop. Looks like something to be enjoyed though! Here you'll find Mexican-fusion type eats. Which was lucky for me because that's my fave and we went on my birthday! I opted for a spicy marg, which was on happy hour special, and that hit the spot. Love when they do a tahin rim. As for food, my husband and I split the ceviche (holy sh*t was that refreshing and amazing I'd order again 10/10), and some fish tacos (also very good). As for dessert, my one bday request was key lime pie and this place delivered that request! Titled the 'margarita key lime pie,' it's infused with with reposado infused lime. An absolute delight! Our server was so sweet, the vibe was good, and we'd definitely give it an overall thumbs up.
