Three of us tried this hopping restaurant. When you walk in it is crowded & emits a fun & authentic vibe. The food at other tables looks amazing! We apparently ordered the wrong dish, because our experience surely wasn't matching the experience of others. We each ordered a Cuban sandwich. I've had many of these at other restaurants & they have been so excellent. The Cuban here was really bad. Again though, I think the other food we saw at other tables would have made our experience a great one. Our Cuban sandwiches had the correct Cuban bread for sure. But the meat was not roast pork...it was truly like a piece of bologna...yikes! The filling was sparse & lacking flavor & truly disappointing. However, I'm going to return again & try something else, because as I mentioned, literally ALL the food at other tables looked excellent.

I can't believe the reviews, so I must have (silly me) ordered the wrong thing. What did I get? Funny you ask. A CUBAN. The 2* are for the bread. The meat in the sandwich is delicious cuts you'd get at subway. The flavor has a unique taste, especially when you bite into a black peppercorn. Something tastes like Mexican inside a sauce. Skip the Cuban, it's kinda disgraceful and if I wasn't so hungry I'd have thrown it away (to go order).

Love this place for Mexican tacos & it's 30 sec from my job. Quick Covid update: The tables are distanced, there's stickers on the ground, and the staff has masks and gloves. Sanitizer by the door when you come in and the food is great family food. It's like mom's cooking was so good they opened a restaurant. Do yourself a favor and swing by for Taco tuesday.

Favorite Cuban and Mexican food in the Tampa Bay Area. Great customer service and menu. Tacos are a must, best I've ever had.

The breakfast burrito here is amazing and very large for the price. We came here looking for a good brunch and got exactly that.

The food remains solid. We enjoyed the mahi mahi, the thin steak, and the Cuban sandwich. Plus, we also once again ordered the mojito pitcher. It's made table side -- though this time they did not add the rum in front of us. It always made us laugh when they poured a bottle of rum into the pitcher. When we asked, the waiter said the rum was already in the pitcher. That's the only bummer. Great restaurant that continues to deliver.

Suggest valet for $6 or a couple of trips around the lot to find a spot. We sat outside, which was enclosed and heated and your are right on the water. Super cool and great views. We started off with the toasted bread and butter and the devil crab croquet. Not a fan - full of crab but the flavors didn't sit well and really needed some type of sauce to pair with it - we only had hot sauce. The original salad - is a must we shared it across four. It's made table side has cheese and olives in it and was really good. We got ours with a side of shrimp. Main courses - Cuban - it's a classic sandwhich which we shared. Comes with fried plantains which were ok. Again would have been better with some kind of sauce to dip it in. Steak Salteado - good flavor l, was expecting thin sliced steak and it was more like stew meat. Paired with rice and was good. Palomilla - would be better as the sandwhich version. Again this one needed a sauce for dipping. Shrimp "Al Ajillo" - this is a must and the oil garlic mix is perfect for dipping you toasted bread.

Altough all the poke ingredients looked mouthwatering, I felt like a sandwich will do better that day, so I went with latter. The [guy who seemed to be an] owner told me they do the best cuban sandwich in town, and it appeared to be absolute truth. The bread was grilled to golden-brown crisp, cheese melted to perfect softness and the meats were super fresh as well. I've requested the one with no pork, and they made the custom sandwich no questions asked. Among other condiments, they have this delicious yellow sriracha and black pepper grinder. I tried sriracha at random, and I do recommend it on this sandwich, while you all know that freshly grinded black pepper is much more flavorful than just ground one; and I appreciate this nice little touch. I wish everyone would switch to these grinders. We have just arrived to the beach, and it was raining all day. This guy promised, it won't last forever and the sun will come out soon. This came true either :) One little detail, after I got to the hotel and took my tee off, I felt like it caught a some of that frying oily smell. I think the exhaust fan doesn't do its job well and needs to be changed, or another one added. It wasn't too bad so I can't take star for that, I'd say its just a little advice. Overall, I loved this place, and I'll definitely try poke here this week too.

The raw tuna and raw salmon were fresh, and so were the toppings I chose to add (edamame, roasted corn, seaweed salad and cucumber salad, sesame seeds and chopped peanuts). I chose not to add a sauce; at home in NJ I usually enjoy my poke bowls without sauce. Their poke bowls need sauce! And, more flavorful toppings than the ones I chose. I believe the white rice in their poke bowl has no flavor, unlike the sushi rice I'm accustomed to getting with my poke bowls in NJ. Makes such a difference! Because I get better poke bowls at home in NJ at a lower price, I have no desire to return to this restaurant.

Even being a local though, I'd certainly visit this restaurant. It sits right on the marina with views all the way around. Unfortunately for us it was raining during our visit, so we weren't able to get a taste of their vast rooftop. Looks like something to be enjoyed though! Here you'll find Mexican-fusion type eats. Which was lucky for me because that's my fave and we went on my birthday! I opted for a spicy marg, which was on happy hour special, and that hit the spot. Love when they do a tahin rim. As for food, my husband and I split the ceviche (holy sh*t was that refreshing and amazing I'd order again 10/10), and some fish tacos (also very good). As for dessert, my one bday request was key lime pie and this place delivered that request! Titled the 'margarita key lime pie,' it's infused with with reposado infused lime. An absolute delight! Our server was so sweet, the vibe was good, and we'd definitely give it an overall thumbs up.

The coconut shrimp were also great! This will definitely be a go to if I come back to Clearwater!! I highly recommend
