Poke Havana is not closed. It is located INSIDE Roundabout Pizza, where you can purchase pizza and/or poke bowls. The raw tuna and raw salmon were fresh, and so were the toppings I chose to add (edamame, roasted corn, seaweed salad and cucumber salad, sesame seeds and chopped peanuts). I chose not to add a sauce; at home in NJ I usually enjoy my poke bowls without sauce. Their poke bowls need sauce! And, more flavorful toppings than the ones I chose. I believe the white rice in their poke bowl has no flavor, unlike the sushi rice I'm accustomed to getting with my poke bowls in NJ. Makes such a difference! I ordered the Cuban full sandwich and it was terrible. Low quality ingredients and the middle of the sandwich was cold (cold cheese). The vibe is super low energy with the workers looking depressed. At first, sadwiches and poke bowls at the same place didn't sound as something common, however, I like both so I decided to check it out. Altough all the poke ingredients looked mouthwatering, I felt like a sandwich will do better that day, so I went with latter. The [guy who seemed to be an] owner told me they do the best cuban sandwich in town, and it appeared to be absolute truth. The bread was grilled to golden-brown crisp, cheese melted to perfect softness and the meats were super fresh as well. I've requested the one with no pork, and they made the custom sandwich no questions asked. Among other condiments, they have this delicious yellow sriracha and black pepper grinder. I tried sriracha at random, and I do recommend it on this sandwich, while you all know that freshly grinded black pepper is much more flavorful than just ground one; and I appreciate this nice little touch. I wish everyone would switch to these grinders. We have just arrived to the beach, and it was raining all day. This guy promised, it won't last forever and the sun will come out soon. This came true either :) One little detail, after I got to the hotel and took my tee off, I felt like it caught a some of that frying oily smell. I think the exhaust fan doesn't do its job well and needs to be changed, or another one added. It wasn't too bad so I can't take star for that, I'd say its just a little advice. Finally, poke on the beach! And it's GREAT poke. Fresh fish, super friendly staff and a super delicious bowl - great option for lunch or a quick dinner. You'll be in and out in a flash. 30-minute parking available right in front of the restaurant which is convenient. This place is located in the Clearwater Marina, under Marina Cantina (I believe owned by the same people as well). Their menu is quite vast. You can build your own poke bowl or choose from their signature ones. If you're with someone that doesn't like seafood or prefers cooked ingredients, they can opt for a Havana bowl--same concept. Kind of like Chipotle with a Cuban flare. They also have Cuban sandwiches but I had my eye on the poke only. :) I got the OG bowl which was fantastic. I'll be back!! read more

I had high hopes for this place. Oh well. Upon arrival I was immediately overwhelmed with the tacky wall art, I did not know what to order because there was just too much. Still, I gave it a chance. The rice pots were open, to dry up, with flies flying all around. Okay... I've eaten not-so-clean food before and I did not care so as long as it was delicious, but the rice was both soggy and hard at the same time. I swear finding a place in Tampa bay that can cook proper rice is IMPOSSIBLE. The rice was so hot that it melted the bowl even after the kid who served us (nice kid) suggested to line the bottom with greens to protect the bowl. Didn't work. Also, melting plastic in your food, seriously gross. And I'm getting ripped off, great. And more plastic is being used because of the damaged bowl, greatttt. So only the food, fish was sitting out over nothing to keep it cold, gross and unsanitary. Taste was so fishy I couldn't finish it. The veggies were not great either, considering the fact that the avocados were soaking in water to prevent browning. Disgusting. Toppings were underwhelming and clearly chopped up days ago. And to really top it all off, I was ripped off with a half filled, fishy, warm bowl of "poke". Thank you. read more

Wish I found this sooner, as I love a good poke bowl, but I also eat poke bowls every week where I live. So I probably have high standards. First, this place is a little hard to find. You have to enter into what looks like you are going into a mall kind of thing and they are in the back. This is an interesting mix. They have poke bowls and Cuba bowls almost like rice, beans, and meat options. I got a poke bowl and my husband got the other. He enjoyed his. Mine was a little plain, but okay. Not the best based on options as a gluten free eater. I am used to not having to have a lot of the toppings or dressing/sauce. I was impressed that they had gluten free soy sauce (all the soy sauce is gluten free). The soy sauce thing just says "soy sauce", so I asked for Tamari, and the manager or someone said that's what was out there. But as always, I am skeptical if the label doesn't say it, and he could sense that, so he brought out the container he fills it with and it was gluten free soy sauce, not Tamari, but still. That was really nice. Also they have an option for nacho chips on the poke side, when I think it's more common to have it on the non poke bowl, but interesting. I was there today 11/30/21 and had a great lunch. There was only one older gentleman working both the pizza oven and the Poke line. He was more than helpful and doing his best. Everyone is short staffed in the area, but he had a smile on his face and made sure to acknowledge every customer. I will definitely be back! read more

I am really familiar to Hawaiian food being married to a Hawaiian. I have had a lot of Poke in my day. This place is best of both worlds amazing Cuban sandwiches with a great variety of poke. There are limited places to eat in Clearlake /Tampa area the just seam to not take pride in there food and that happens because people don't read the yelp before choosing there restaurants but those that do this is the place!! Not bad. The rice is lacking because it is not sushi rice. The sweetness in the sushi rice would take the flavors to the next level. They also don't offer cold kale noodles. It still hits the spot. Price is very reasonable. They do offer a Cuban sandwich, seems out of place but tasty. (Maybe because this spot used to be a sandwich place.) This place is wonderful! I stopped by this place on my way home from the beach and I'm so glad I did. The food is delicious, I got the Poke Dynamite bowl. If there's a topping you do not like or want in it you can change it up and they cater it to the way you want your poke bowl. The service was excellent as well. Great place, I'll be back for sure. Found this place while in town for work. After a week of 'conference ' food it was great to get something healthier. I understand people like poke, but the name is "Poke Havana." They have chicken and pork bowls. Since this is Tampa Bay, they also have Cuban sandwiches, but they also make a chicken version with adobe chicken. All the ingredients are fresh. They are made to order, and freshly pressed.
