The reason why I don't give 5 stars is because when you are paying for the food they ask you for the tips, it's self service...You pick your table, you get your drinks, you and you...So the tip is for what? We had ordered via Uber eats once awhile ago and it was okay. Sometimes it is difficult to gauge food that has cooled off from delivery. We decided to dine in this time and were so glad we did. Very few restaurants can take you to a happy place when you enter, and Cubanidad is one that definitely does. It reminded us of our trip to Miami at one of their Havana restaurants. The colors are bright, the decor is spot on, and the music just makes it complete. The food is delicious. Chicken was tender and the rice was delicious. Their Cuban sandwich was toasted to perfection. Portions are spot on. The servers seemed like family members who had a lot of pride in their restaurant and food, and checked on you often. Still hungry the Hubs ordered the soup~ a vegetable type broth with cut up sausage, carrots & corn on the cob pieces.....nice for a cold day like today I couldn't wait to have a Cuban coffee to which I added a coconut turnover? We had originally had came in to to try out there Cuban buffet they had promoting until 3pm we had arrived at around 1:41pm to find out that they were no longer serving the buffet because they ran out of food for their own restaurant promotion which I thought that should of been an updated post on there page So that to me was not okay as I came in from across town with my family to try them out I had communicated that to the cashier and she had asked the cook and the cook said no that he was not making no more food for the buffet we were like I hope you know that we can understand you and the cashier was embarrassed that we could and said sorry, so we ended up selecting some dishes n appetizers from their menu. The customer service was good and the food came in pretty fast but we felt that the flavors were just not there we weren't impressed if you are Cuban or familiar with Cuban cuisine you will notice that there are some hit and misses on their menu dishes we rated them from 1 to 10, 1 being I did not like that and 10 being wow that is good. Starting off with there appetizers we had ordered the traditional croqueta with ham, but unfortunately it had no ham in there mostly dough a total miss for such a good appetizer we rate this a 1 out of 10, then we tried the avocado and tomato salad well for $16 dollars the portion size was small and it mostly tasted like vinegar again there was no spices added to it so we ended up putting on some salt n pepper to our taste we rate this a 3 because of that. Now starting off with our ordered dishes I ordered a traditional pan con bistec sandwich that is a standard sandwich I gave it a 3 because the bread it was good but the steak was not juicy it was dry and a bit burnt on the sides which killed the flavors for me and it was oily with no flavor I would not minded the oil if there was flavor but I was able to know that no olive oil was used nor butter just regular oil so that's not good had that sandwich had some spices to it on that bread cause the bread was good I think I would of given it a 10, 2nd dish was there picadita 1885 that had a variety of pork meat and banana plantain chips and three dipping sauces on the plate, but unfortunately, on the pulled pork which is called Lechon it was very salty and it had a very vinegar taste to it, not enjoyable at all my husband and brother-in-law ended up not eating that they only ate the pork chunk meat pieces and the plantain chips they rated that plate a 5 out of 10 because of the pulled pork and the portion size was small too. 3rd dish was a grilled chicken with sautéed onions and rice congri they rated that dish a 3 because they use the wrong rice grain for such a traditional rice dish that we sometimes in Cuba put a fried egg on top the chicken breast was flavorful with the sautéed onions on top and the plátanos maduros were sweet that I think made this dish good. Don't mean to make this a bad review. It's just that we take our food very seriously as it is a sense of pride for us. We are very happy that they are bringing our Cuban Food culture to Henderson Las Vegas area as it is very delicious and our Cuban coffee is so delicious too so if you are in the area and would like to try this place out It's good. It's not that bad compared to some that I've gone to. I love how they have beautiful paintings and pictures, beautiful decor. I love the music definitely it is very family oriented and sitting as well if you're coming in with a big party a very nice and clean place to eat. read more

What a great find! The sandwiches and empanadas are top notch. We ordered two types of empanadas: ham&c Hersey and beef&I live - yum! I definitely wanna try the ropa vieja empanadas next time. Cubanidad has some of the best cuban sandwiches and ropa vieja. I previously tried the tropical mixto ceviche and wasn't a big fan because it was too thick, sweet, and not as punctuated on the lime flavor (personal preference) but the ropa vieja is incredible! The tomato escabeche sauce was also perfect with the meal. The grilled vegetables were perfect (not overdone and perfectly seasoned with chimichurri sauce), and the rice is fantastic as well. The cuban sandwich is also incredibly juicy and delicious, but the ropa vieja is my favorite so far here. I'm looking forward to trying other items on their menu next time, especially the empanadas! read more

An absolute amazing find. A contemporary Cuban joint in a contemporary neighborhood is about the most perfect you can get. This is one of the best Cuban sandwiches (305 Miami Style) I have ever had if not the best. When it comes to a Cuban---its all in the mustard. NAILED IT! This place offers some of the finest service out there. Well done!!!!! The Plantain Chips are ok... but the sandwich in all its meaty glory and mustardy greatness overshadows ANYTHING mediocre (few and far between here). This should be the place that's here to stay... I rarely write reviews, but I had to for this place. I was not impressed with the Cuban sandwich. Cheese wasn't melted and they forgot the pickle. I've had many before in Miami and little Havana and this doesn't come anywhere close. The ropa vieja was decent. Tostones hard as rocks. Their AC seemed broken since it was almost as hot as outside. The young lady, who works in front cashier, is very rude. SHE ALSO WEARS HER MASK AS A CHIN STRAP. Totally ignores the mask mandate. Amazing place for Cuban food! The rice and beans here are so good! I can't stop thinking about them! Such a simple dish but very flavorful and well made. I highly recommend to get the Parilla 1885 platter. There is an assortment of meats that come with this and you really get a good tasting of a variety of Cuban meats. The platter comes with skirt steak, pork belly, roasted pork (really good and braised), pork sausage, shrimp, tamale and rice and beans. The Chinese Cuban fried rice is also amazing! I got the lechon asado fried rice and it was SO GOOD. The lechon asado is really well made, soft, tender, and super juicy and flavorful. I highly recommend this item! My mother and I decided we'd each share a 305 sandwich but we ended up staying and ordering 2 305, papas rellenas, empanadas, French toast, pancakes, cappuccino, and the Cuban coffee shake. Are Cuban restaurants on the West Coast a very hard to fine, but this comes very close to being authentic. Very good.

Stopped by a few days ago with my mom to try their Cuban sandwiches. Simple nothing fancy fast food style looking restaurant. Order at the counter and they give you a number to drop off your food. Had a reasonable sized menu and pricing of main popular Cuban dishes. Including family style menu options. They have a few different sandwiches ordered 305 Miami Cuban Sandwich had very sweet taste to it compared to traditional Cuban. Not sure if it was the type of ham or pickle they used that gave the sweet flavor. Loved the type of bread used and texture of the shredded pork. Side of plantains which were pretty stale and purple onion vinegarete salsa on the side. Took home some coconut and guava/cheese pastelitos that were warm and fresh that were absolutely delicious and not too dry and heavily crumbling like some locations. With great amount of filling.
