Excellent coffee! Most breakfast places neglect the coffee... not here. They have a full coffee bar and they it is flavorful and well balanced! The skillet was a big portion but not huge.... I never get skillets because they are massive and full of potatoes.... NOT HERE! They are good portions and great flavor. The service was very friendly and attentive. Ohhh... let's not forget the empanadas... the beef empanada was good but I missed a green olive in it.
Classic American breakfast dishes with Latin flair, Makers and Finders is a must try in the valley. [[HIGHLIGHT]]All three locations are uniquely different in terms of decor, but each are comforting and inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also have some of the best coffee in the valley as well. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Try their breakfast empanada for sure. It's a delicious breakfast sandwich in empanada form.
[[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is nice and spacious and they have a little covered patio as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff is super friendly and welcoming & I immediately felt welcome. As for food I got the Chilaquiles with chicken tinga & apart from the tinga just needing a little more salt, the dish was really good. Overall 8/10 . Beef short rib empanada 10/10 . Shrimp Empanada 10/10 (squeeze lemon in it & its 10000/10) Overall will definitely be coming back to try more delicious food!!

Food and service are amazing every single time... like, suspiciously consistent. Vegan options? On point. The Impossible Sando Delicioso absolutely delivers on flavor... emotionally. Now, full transparency,the Impossible sausage is sliced so thin it's basically playing hide-and-seek. Blink and you'll miss it. Barely visible, whispering "I'm here" from between the bread. BUT... plot twist: that strawberry sandwich sauce? That sauce shows up loud and proud and carries the whole operation on its back. They definitely compensate for the skimpy Impossible situation with extra potatoes,a move that will delight carb lovers and mildly confuse protein seekers. Good thing? Bad thing? Depends on your relationship with potatoes. I personally didn't argue with them. Great location too,right in a busy shopping center with lots to do, and bonus points for being next to one of our favorite parks. Eat, walk, digest, repeat. Would I go back? Absolutely. Would I like 25% more Impossible sausage? Also yes.
Visited this location as I was in the area for an event. It's quietly tucked away in a plaza, much different than the other two locations in town. The overall ambience is quite different than the downtown and downtown Summerlin locations (I would say more industrial feeling). I got the maduros that I normally order and were good as usual! I tried the pork belly hash and didn't think it was very good. It had loads of belly which was great, but was lacking in other flavors of the dish. The bon bon layered latte was very good - made with condensed milk. My husband got a hot lavender fog and was disappointed that it came out already pretty lukewarm. The waiter did not come to visit often and we felt we were waiting around a lot even though there weren't many guests there at the time.

We get inside and I order my daughter kids plate and found out they don't make the eggs fresh they have a lot with premade scrambled eggs. That was a flag for me. Then the potatoes must be bagged frozen potted they throw in the fryer. The chicken tinga omelet was not good at all. The chicken had been made a few days ago it had an old chicken kind of taste. The egg had absolutely no seasoning. The steak was the only thing that was decent but even that had no seasoning itself and was tough. The chimichurri literally saved it by a threat. The coconut late was the star of this meal. Service was mehhh. Food was below average. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside was decorative and clean I will give them that.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you're looking for something fresh and well seasoned good quality. Sadly this is not it. Which is strange you would think for its location it would be amazing. It's located off the 215 in Henderson by green valley. The pictures look great the food looks great but needs to improve on seasoning. Cook eggs to order. Fresh house made potatoes. And if you can't provide same day proteins for dishes. would recommend removing them from the menu.
Went here from brunch on a Sunday. It was packed, so there was a bit of a wait to get a seat. It was also pretty loud due to the music volume and the number of people attempting to talk over it. Their menu is extensive and varied, with healthy options and indulgent choices as well. I ordered the chicken tinga omelette with plantain chips, which was delicious. Would come back again to try more of their large menu, but probably not on a Sunday.
Visiting from Los Angeles. My wife and I LOVED the food and the customer service here. We order Mexican Spice Latte, and Tres Leche Latte I loved my Mexican Latte. For food we ordered steak and eggs, literally the steak was cooked perfectly and was so soft. Empanada flight, you have to try it was so good! Tres leches pancakes were good too, but a little to sweet and to big for us to finish lol. I'll be coming here again. It was a pretty poor experience. It seemed like staff was overwhelmed, and the place was not even half full. To start off, I came for a new martini advertised in an email. The martini was made incorrectly, and after it was remade it was ok. I had the shortribs fries, which was a huge portion but was barely warm. They had a lot of drink specials, a flyer on the bar advertised them and also a board outside. I would not order food here again, but may recommend stopping in for a drink.

My avocado toast was one piece of bread, cut into 4 pieces and definitely was NOT toasted. The egg was cooked well though. No frills, very disappointing for $15+. My friend didn't finish her chilaquiles. I believe she said, "it's ok." I did however enjoy my iced salted caramel latte. This will be a no go for future meals. Very sad because I've nothing but great food at the Main St. location. whomp whomp! 3 stars because the service was good.

Had an amazing experience at Makers & Finders. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was super welcoming and the staff was genuinely friendly and attentive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything came out quickly and tasted great. Definitely one of the best café spots in Henderson -- highly recommend and would absolutely come back! I got the Chicken Tinga Omelette and was really good -- fluffy eggs, flavorful shredded chicken, and a little smoky/spicy kick. Super filling and tasted fresh. I was in the mood for a good latte and some breakfast food, so I visited with family for a Sunday brunch outing based on a recommendation. We ordered a churro waffle, the Latin hash, a shrimp and garlic empanada, steak and eggs, and chicken fingers with French fries for my picky toddler. We adored each entrée except the empanada; I think I'd try a different flavor next time. The churro waffle was the perfect touch of sweetness to complement our savory dishes. From the espresso bar, we ordered an iced, extra-sweet dulce de leche latte and an iced horchata latte. The coffees were fantastic--the sweetness of the dulce de leche made it a delectable treat. The horchata latte was also a great choice for anyone who enjoys a little cinnamon in their coffee. The service was extremely friendly, and we can understand why the place was so busy. We will definitely be back in the future. read more
Talk about another great breakfast fine! I had seen this place online a couple of times, and decided to give it a go on Easter Sunday. Makers and Finders is super easy to find, although it is a bit of a windy parking lot to find them, there is ample parking once you get inside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The signage is bright, welcoming, the windows are outfitted with catch phrases and other identifying marks to make sure you do not miss this place at all.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As soon as we entered the building, we recruited by the wait staff at the front, who showed us to our table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior had a very relaxed vibe to it. Super wide open spaces, great view of the kitchen, and great view of the coffee bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also had a takeout service where you could walk right up to the takeout area and get your stuff to go. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Along the back wall was a very whimsical and detailed mural as to how the business got to Las Vegas. Do yourself a favor, take a moment and check it out because it is worth the watch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu has all kinds of great food items, on this particular day, my girlfriend picked out the the Lox Benny, which had slices of salmon on a potato slice rather than a English muffin. Very ingenious! Very ingenious! The presentation itself was very pretty, and looked almost too good to eat. I opted for the Coconut tray slides pancakes. Which were absolutely wonderful. They came with a fruit compote, and it really helped balance out the sweetness with a little bit of tart from the berries. Of course, we had to have the short rib empanada, with some of the most amazing chimichurri sauce I have ever had. I swear to you, this chimichurri sauce would make an old chew taste good! You are definitely going to want to order more of it as you will want to slather the empanada with as much of it as you can. They're coffee, which is how the business got started in. The first place, is really on point. Not super strong but definitely not on the medium or weak side. It was a perfect starter for the meal. The serve staff was really great, very friendly and fun and made the entire meal experience so fun and welcoming. This is yet another great breakfast spot that you can add to your short list for a lazy Saturday or Sunday morning, or when you have guests in town. So many good brunch options here! Came on a Sunday and be prepared to wait, it's packed here and took a lot longer than we expected. This location is in a small plaza next to Boom Bang restaurant which is amazing. The hubby and I had a lovely time over lattes while we waited. The barista art was perfect in my mug. I ordered the most reviewed items I saw on Yelp and was not disappointed. What happened to this place. Absolutely disgusting. Steak and eggs 30$ the steak was grey but a thin raw blue line in the middle like cooked from frozen. Nothing we order was good the rice was hard and crunchy. This place used to be top notch we gave it four more tries!! No more this place is officially off our list. Probably not worth even 1-star!!! Awful customer service, dirty tables and chairs, employees visibly high. Showed to grab a latte and perhaps a bite to eat. Was told that I need to be seated, so I waited for someone to seat me. Noticed that employees move at super slow pace. Finally got seated on the patio but first two tables were dirty and had dirty chairs so I moved. Another table had food leftovers that sat there for a while. Finally got seated and waited. The place was not busy on Sunday morning but I ended up waiting and waiting. Roughly ten minutes later I got up and left. For customers with low expectations - this is your kinda place. I am more partial to places where they want to earn my business. read more
Awful! 1. Stood at the hostess desk for almost 2 minutes waiting to be greeted. 2. Tables on the patio were dirty the hostess saw and didn't bother to clean any of the tables. 3. Waited over 3 minutes for a server to take our order (no one showed up) we decided to leave. Never again will I try this place out! read more

One of my favorites! The food seems to get better every time I visit! They really have everything dialed in and I love the empanadas - best I've ever had!! So flaky, crisp, hearty filings, and perfect for a quick meal. I love all the specialty coffees and always try something new. The outdoor patio has cushioned seating and they added some planters for privacy. I really liked sitting outside and enjoyed the fresh air since the temps have been cooling. Service is always good and I like paying on their portable machine and it's easy to select the tip since the options are pre-calculated. read more
Absolutely love this gem of a brunch spot. I've been here a few times and the service is always amazing. I love that they have a full cafe and bar inside. My current favorite drink is the cafe con leche. I've had a few of their lattes which were all flavorful. I also love their empanadas, which are fried made-to-order and are always so fresh and crispy. I've had a few flavors at their sister cafe Take It Easy in Chinatown. Their breakfast empanada plate is my go-to order! It comes with 2 breakfast empanadas, spanish rice, black beans & a yummy sauce on the side. This combined with a hot drink is my ideal breakfast lol Will be back! read more
My wife has been here a few times and raced about the empanadas and their breakfast. So having a craving for empanadas we decided to pick up some and take them home. Usually picking up something fried wouldn't be a good idea but the empanadas held up great. Also the fact that they close at 3 meant picking them up early and reheating. I arrived and when I walked in I was greeted right away , the staff were friendly and helpful. I placed my order and probably waited 5 mins for it to be done. Everything smelled real good and I couldn't wait to dig in. After bringing home a bag of hot empanadas and having to reheat them they were perfect, still crispy and everything was yummy. If you love empanadas definitely give them a try. I will definitely be going back to try all their different offerings as well. read more
Tucked away in a shopping center, went in on a Sunday morning. Was busy but had a table available for my hubby and I. The menu was pretty overwhelming, so many choices! Excited they had empanadas, I had to get them. Ordered 2 empanadas which came with rice, beans and chimichurri sauce which was a great pairing for my shirt rib and black bean and corn empanadas. Hubby got the pork belly hash which he enjoyed. The pork belly was fried to perfection as was the empanadas. Ordered the special summer beverage, Grey Matcha iced latte, which was delicious and not too sweet. Would def order again. Hubby got the Horchata iced latte which he can't stop raving about either. Randomly decided to come here for brunch since I was in the area. I sat at the bar and was greeted immediately. It was my first time, and since the menu featured several empanadas I assumed that's what they were known for. I ordered some coffee, a mimosa, and chicken tinga and garlic shrimp empanadas with a side of rice, black beans, and fruit. The rice was so delicious that I ended up finishing that first. The fruit consisted of mostly berries, which I love. The black beans were what you would expect with cheese sprinkled on top. The empanadas were of course the star of the show. Both crispy and flavorful. I love how they marked each empanada so that I knew which one was which. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. Wish I could remember his name. Will definitely be back the next time I'm have an empanadas craving. read more

The food is amazing. Coffee/lattes are good, depending on the server. I ordered an Horchai Latte and pretty certain it had whole milk in it, rather than rice milk. Serviced is hit or miss, we've had great servers, and servers not very great. Depends on who you get. Ambience is always great. read more

Makers & Finders is good when it's good. We used to frequent the downtown location but kind of stopped because of how far it is from us and because, while the food and drinks were still good, the last few times we were in, the service was seriously lacking. Since I missed the excellent food and coffee of Makers & Finders, we decided to finally come into this location. Maybe the service would be better here. It was not. It may have been worse. Walking in, we were seated right away but not with the other diners. We sat very close to the door, right next to the host stand, and I'm not going to lie, it felt like we were being punished. I know that's not the case and it was probably for servers and their sections but honestly, our server was with us and the section clear across the restaurant so I'm not sure what was happening. Someone with crutches came in and they were not sat as close to the door as we were, even though it was very hard for her to navigate through the tables. I did hear the manager scolding the hostess about how she was seating people so maybe that was it? Who knows. Speaking of said manager, he was super unprofessional in the fact that I could hear him speak to the hostess like that. He also spent too much time laughing and smiling with one particular server. The reason I noticed this is because we were completely forgotten about and I wanted to speak with him but he was in full evade mode. By the time someone came by to see if we had been helped (not our server, a different server in a different section just happened to notice that we had our menus for a long time, it had been 10 minutes), he finally came back to the front, so I had no complaints anymore, at least so I thought. I noticed that he warmly greeted and said goodbye to people, except for us. Are we lepers? I've heard of restaurants putting unattractive people in the back but this was ridiculous. When our server did finally show up, she was very nice. I think she may have been new? She wasn't a good server but she was a nice person. The food was just ok, but the drinks were great. This is why I give them an "ok" 3 and not a "could've been better" 2. My shorty (which I get a lot) had a lot of water and wasn't very flavorful. My husbands fries were rock hard and cold. Couldn't complain though, you can't catch a server here. Thankfully, our server did show up when we wanted to gtfo and we paid right away were were released from this circle of hell. To-go coffees are the way to go for us I guess. read more
After some time at the Henderson Bird Preserve, I stopped here for breakfast. It's a quick drive from the 215 exit and there is abundant parking in the shopping area where M&F is located. Having been walking in the sun for a couple of miles, I was in for some coffee that was iced. Looking at the drinks menu, I opted to try the iced Mexican spice latte. For breakfast, something different--I ordered the breakfast empanada which consists of two empanadas with potato, egg, bacon, and cheddar. This is served with rice and black beans topped with queso fresco. There was a small cup of house sauce with the empanadas. The iced latte tasted very good but I didn't perceive very much flavor from the 5 spice house syrup along with the abueltia chocolate. There was flavor so it wasn't just a plain latte, but it needed more flavoring. The empanadas were good. Nicely browned, flaky edges, and stuffed with the ingredients mentioned above. The most noticeable ingredient was the potato. The house sauce served with the empanadas was excellent. It gave some flavor to the potato stuffed empanadas. There was no hint of bacon at all. Tjhe black beans with some queso fresco were OK. Service was excellent. My server was around while I was there to check on me and she was a very pleasant woman. M&F is worth a stop. Since there is another one much closer to me, I'll stop in to try something else from the menu. read more
