There are sooo many fast Mexican food places in Vegas, and especially in this part of town. I'm pretty sure this location used to be a Roberto's, so I wouldn't fault anyone for completely skipping it. However, when a trusted friend of mine told me I need to try it, I did. I'm not kidding, this is hands down the best Mexican food of this fast category I've ever had. It's NOT Roberto's at all. The burritos are big, slightly grilled, and the meat is delicious. We had the California burrito the first few times, but the real winner is the chicken burrito. I know it sounds boring, but they marinade it so it's so tender and juicy. It tastes a lot like al pastor actually. They also use a melty cheese that gives queso-rito. One burrito is more than enough for 2 people... seriously. Interior is very similar to a Roberto's, complete with salsa bar. They probably didn't change much from when it was one. Service is friendly and fast and there's always a good crowd of customers. If you're in the area this should definitely be your top spot for Mexican takeout read more

Stopped in for another carne asada burrito and a pastor. Both were really good, place was packed on a Friday around 11:30am. It's just under $30 for 2 burritos so it's not cheap but was definitely worth it. Good size on each, lightly grilled tortilla, perfect blend of beans, cheese and rice. I got the pastor without pineapple and the carne asada street tacos. They were seasoned well. The pastor was the star of the show for me. Carne asada wasn't dry and had good flavor, but had some chewy bits of gristle. Still better than most spots who have such dry meat. They also were generous with the amount of meat in the tacos. It's pretty big and clean inside, very nice decor, good Spanish music. You smell the asada as soon as you walk in. Workers were nice, can't complain. Food was amazing, I enjoyed all the meats. Probably one of the best taco places I've been to in the whole country! The waiter was very nice and easy to talk to. They also have a generous variety of salsas and condiments in the self-service bar. The place itself is quite clean and spacious, and creatively decorated too! The tacos had nice and tender meat and were not overly seasoned or cheesy - just the right amount of flavor! I also had a lengua vampiro (kind of like a tortilla sandwich - think overstuffed mulitas) that had a lot of cheese that really melted with the meat, but wasn't overwhelming. They also had some complimentary chips to go with all of it, which was a nice touch. Really my only complaints are the bathroom doors which didn't seem to work, and how empty the place felt. I suppose we came during down-time when fewer people are eating. I imagine more people come in throughout the day to fill it up, but either way, I recommend checking this place out to liven things up a bit! read more

I ordered this for lunch tacos in Birria Ramen. I didn't receive any broth or to dip the tacos in, but the tacos are tasty. I got delivered so there wasn't any customer service, but the delivery was fast and they made the food fast as far as ambience, I will have to visit the restaurant one day. This is a really good spot, very small, but extremely underrated! The food is tasty and my favorite is the Beef Birria. It is pretty pricey, For three meals I paid about $60. I guess that standard nowadays at any restaurant. Their Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus) is so good as well as their Horchata! If you like either one of those drinks, you will enjoy theirs. The parking area is small, but they have a steady flow of people so it's never too packed. Every time I've came here it's always been around lunchtime hours. Saw this establishment being advertised and their carne arabe (pork) tacos caught my eye. So I dragged my husband here to have lunch with me one Saturday! It was pretty empty when we walked in but it was very clean. You'll go up and order your food and they will bring it to your table. I decided to get two carne arabe street tacos, one pastor street taco with pineapples, and one lengua street taco. I also made sure to get my pastor and lengua on flour tortillas. My husband got almost the same variety except he got carne asada instead of lengua. We also got an order of chips & guac. There's a stand/bar where you can grab some salsa, lime, cilantro, onions, radishes, etc. They also have containers for you to get it to-go as well! When our food came out, they actually included chips to your order, which is great. Cause you can just grab some salsa from the bar and you got some chips & salsa! The carne arabe (pork) tacos are, by far, their best. It was delicious and the sauce they used on it was different from your regular salsa. It had a smokey BBQ type of flavor to it so it did have sweetness. I added cilantros and onions to it as well. The pastor had good flavor but it had a lack of fattiness to the meat. The meat that they used seemed pretty lean so extra salsa was needed. The lengua was the same as the pastor -- it didn't have the fattiness that I was used to but flavor was good. Everything that we had was pretty good. I would definitely come back for the carne arabe. Maybe next time I'll try a burrito or something! read more

The staff were all very nice and attentive We really enjoyed our food: The árabe taco was unique and flavorful and came with a sweet chipotle sauce that was delicious. I was a hard-core Taqueria 2 Carnales fan. Recommended it to multiple people. However, these last few months I have been left disappointed in the quality of food that I've gotten, mainly the flautas. My wife and I looooooved the flautas. But! The flautas are falling flat in flavor. The chicken is the nemesis lately, and I mean, the chicken is over-boiled, old and chewy. It's not shredded correctly and gives your jaw exhaustion from having to chew so much just to swallow it. This is upsetting, it makes it inedible and like I wasted my money. We noticed this before and thought it was just a one time thing but that doesn't seem to be the case. We've been here a few times. Quite a few times. If we want amazing tacos with full flavor, and we don't feel like cooking, this is where we go. There's always the same three people there. Two gentlemen cooking and the sweet woman that's on the register. It's a quiet place but comfortable. I don't have pics of the interior yet, but soon. We frequent and support this business. The food is always delicious and full of flavor. The presentations are always on point. The customer service is always great. The seating is comfortable. No booths, but really comfortable chairs. Capacity probably about seating for about 40-50 people inside. As you can see we have favorites already. I swear we will go and eat something different one day. But "if it ain't broke don't fix it." We have not been disappointed yet. It's always spotless and clean. Bathrooms and dining hall. There's never too many people inside but we are people constantly going in and out for lunch every single time. And all of the guest speak highly of it. I've probably driven and rode my bike by this place over 20 times, but I was watching Mexi Papa on YouTube and he highlighted Taqueria 2 Carnales. The cemita was in his video and I knew I had to try it. I picked the beef cemita. The meat is cooked milanese style, it was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The sandwich is loaded with avocados, queso, pimentos, and some other goodies. The papas fritas were nice and crispy. The birria plate was very generous and could feed two people. The meat was tender, moist and juicy. With a good helping of frijoles, rice and tortillas you are good to go. They also have a fixings bar with different salsas, onions, cilantro and pickled vegetables. The staff was super nice and the dining area was clean and spacious. Excellent food quality and quantity with authentic Mexican flavoring. I went to the Taqueria with my wife to pick up and return to our destination. When we entered the restaurant the lively atmosphere and vibe changed our mind and we opted to eat in. The staff was attentive and helpful with descriptions of some of the less familiar meals. Standards like tacos, bowls, and burritos were completed with seasoning slightly different than your standard fare. Looking forward to going again soon read more

I have been ordering from this place for years and there has always been a language barrier. I understand that.. I went in there today and the cashier her name is Elizabeth was the most miserable person I've ever dealt with.. I repeated my order multiple times. The receipt looked corrected. I took my food and left.. I passed off most of the order to my son who is on his way to work via bus.. he messages me from the bus tells me his order is very incorrect and it's basically just a lettuce wrap. I called to see how I could get this corrected and she hung up on me. I called back and she told me they were so busy that she had to put me on hold so while I was on hold, I drove down there and there was literally nobody in there!! (yep i was still holding) she was standing there talking to the person who was the cook ..I asked to speak to the manager or somebody other than her, and she literally would banter back-and-forth with me.. I have always loved this place. I have been coming here for years and she was not doing anything other than arguing with me. Luckily somebody else that works there took action and called the manager on her cell phone and gave me the phone. He was very accommodating, but while I was talking to him, she started arguing with me again because I said that she was a liar because she lied about the place being so busy that she couldn't take a phone call and then she said I was screaming at her. I am not the kind of person that screams and I reminded her that if I was screaming everybody in the area would know it I was trying very hard not to be as mad.. I work in the food industry, and I would never scream at somebody, especially over a mistake. My issue with her is that she lied.. and literally confronted me when I was on the phone with her boss. I did not back down because I know that I am not in the wrong on this.. They are welcome to check their cameras and see that I was not screaming like she said I was... unfortunately I will not be back and I know my little bit of business won't make that big of an impact however, if they continue to have someone with her unprofessionalism working the counter, they will suffer greatly because unfortunately their food is very good.. I was surprised to find a California Butrito here, so we ordered one and a bunch of birria tacos- all was fantastic! As always when I visit this side of the country, I was in the mood for some good street style tacos. I was very happy to find that there was a taqueria about a half of a mile from my hotel. The menu had the meats that I like to get, and their photos looked good, so I gave it a try. I ordered a pastor and some cabeza street tacos, a lengua vampiro, and some beans. Everything was very tasty. They included some sauces, but all I added was a squeeze of lime. The vampiro was larger than I thought it would be. It had the amount of 2 tacos worth of meat and toppings in it. I only have one complaint. The cabeza tacos were very wet/soggy which didn't affect the taste, but it made the taco shell flimsy and it ripped easily. It really needed a double shell under it. read more
