Seafood menu

Lots of seating, good sized menu with a lot of options for people who like meat or seafood. Casual vibe, and a salsa bar to spice up your tacos, although it wasn't loaded, it had what you need. I got the pastor without pineapple and the carne asada street tacos. They were seasoned well. The pastor was the star of the show for me. Carne asada wasn't dry and had good flavor, but had some chewy bits of gristle. Still better than most spots who have such dry meat. They also were generous with the amount of meat in the tacos. The horchata wasn't to sweet compared to other spots and had good flavor. The woman who took my order was sweet and let me sample before I committed because I don't like it when it's crazy sugary. I think its my new favorite taco spot close by when I want some yummy street tacos

You must go immediately and get either the arabe tacos or arabe vampiro!! You will not regret it!! One of my favorite taco places, the flavor is really good and so much variety! They have many things besides tacos! Also all of their salsas are very tasty! My favorites are the creamy roja and verde options, give them a try!

It's pretty big and clean inside, very nice decor, good Spanish music. You smell the asada as soon as you walk in. Workers were nice, can't complain. Food was amazing, I enjoyed all the meats. Did not get a photo of the street tacos carne arabe or taco cabeza but those were also delicious. 10/10, I would come back.

Probably one of the best taco places I've been to in the whole country! The waiter was very nice and easy to talk to. They also have a generous variety of salsas and condiments in the self-service bar. The place itself is quite clean and spacious, and creatively decorated too! The tacos had nice and tender meat and were not overly seasoned or cheesy - just the right amount of flavor! I also had a lengua vampiro (kind of like a tortilla sandwich - think overstuffed mulitas) that had a lot of cheese that really melted with the meat, but wasn't overwhelming. They also had some complimentary chips to go with all of it, which was a nice touch. Really my only complaints are the bathroom doors which didn't seem to work, and how empty the place felt. I suppose we came during down-time when fewer people are eating. I imagine more people come in throughout the day to fill it up, but either way, I recommend checking this place out to liven things up a bit!

Ramen Birria

I ordered this for lunch tacos in Birria Ramen. I didn't receive any broth or to dip the tacos in, but the tacos are tasty. I got delivered so there wasn't any customer service, but the delivery was fast and they made the food fast as far as ambience, I will have to visit the restaurant one day. The Ramen lack flavor I had to add seasonings at home but this is not what Birria ramen should taste like.

The chicken burrito was delicious! My husband got the shrimp taco plate and it was gorgeous and delicious!! Highly recommend if you are training in the area! There's a salsa bar to dress your burrito as you wish!!

This is a really good spot, very small, but extremely underrated! The food is tasty and my favorite is the Beef Birria. It is pretty pricey, For three meals I paid about $60. I guess that standard nowadays at any restaurant. Their Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus) is so good as well as their Horchata! If you like either one of those drinks, you will enjoy theirs. The parking area is small, but they have a steady flow of people so it's never too packed. Every time I've came here it's always been around lunchtime hours. Their menu is small, but it has a variety of different meals. Try it out if you're looking for some authentic Mexican food.

When we go on Pokémon go adventures at sunset park, the best place to fuel up and get our taco fix is here. Place is really clean and food comes out fast and hot. Really friendly service. The pricing is super reasonable considering the quality.

Saw this establishment being advertised and their carne arabe (pork) tacos caught my eye. So I dragged my husband here to have lunch with me one Saturday! It was pretty empty when we walked in but it was very clean. You'll go up and order your food and they will bring it to your table. I decided to get two carne arabe street tacos, one pastor street taco with pineapples, and one lengua street taco. I also made sure to get my pastor and lengua on flour tortillas. My husband got almost the same variety except he got carne asada instead of lengua. We also got an order of chips & guac. There's a stand/bar where you can grab some salsa, lime, cilantro, onions, radishes, etc. They also have containers for you to get it to-go as well! When our food came out, they actually included chips to your order, which is great. Cause you can just grab some salsa from the bar and you got some chips & salsa! The carne arabe (pork) tacos are, by far, their best. It was delicious and the sauce they used on it was different from your regular salsa. It had a smokey BBQ type of flavor to it so it did have sweetness. I added cilantros and onions to it as well. The pastor had good flavor but it had a lack of fattiness to the meat. The meat that they used seemed pretty lean so extra salsa was needed. The lengua was the same as the pastor -- it didn't have the fattiness that I was used to but flavor was good. Everything that we had was pretty good. I would definitely come back for the carne arabe. Maybe next time I'll try a burrito or something!

A nice sized restaurant with about 10 tables with some Hispanic music in the background. The staff were all very nice and attentive We really enjoyed our food: The árabe taco was unique and flavorful and came with a sweet chipotle sauce that was delicious. They use a flour tortilla vs a corn one. The carne asada taco had great flavor and they did not skimp on the meat. Meat was not dry but had that nice grilled flavor The lengua was tender but needed a little salt The Al pastor was delicious in the taco and vampiro - we enjoyed the flavor and liked that small pieces of pineapple were mixed in. The salsas had good flavor with a little kick. Solid place to grab some fast Mexican food as we enjoyed everything

Family of 3 enjoyed the quesobarria combination plate, Tacos de Asada combination and my plato was also a combinatione of arabe (pork). We're from New Mexico and thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine of 2 Carnales! Friendly people, awesome guacomole n chips, yummy beans and rice. We enjoyed tge ambiance of cumbia and other greats. Loved it!

Cemita with fries and birria plate.

I've probably driven and rode my bike by this place over 20 times, but I was watching Mexi Papa on YouTube and he highlighted Taqueria 2 Carnales. The cemita was in his video and I knew I had to try it. I picked the beef cemita. The meat is cooked milanese style, it was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The sandwich is loaded with avocados, queso, pimentos, and some other goodies. The papas fritas were nice and crispy. The birria plate was very generous and could feed two people. The meat was tender, moist and juicy. With a good helping of frijoles, rice and tortillas you are good to go. They also have a fixings bar with different salsas, onions, cilantro and pickled vegetables. The staff was super nice and the dining area was clean and spacious. Can't wait to try the quesobirrias next time!

This place is just "meh". The al pastor was under flavored and lots of the meat was either burned to a crisp or overly fatty.

It's a cozy, charming spot with an atmosphere that transports you and reminds you of Venice. It's truly impressive what Las Vegas can recreate, beautiful corners of the world with incredible attention to detail that make you feel like you're somewhere else. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. I had a reservation, and everything flowed smoothly and efficiently, which is always appreciated. The food was very good overall. I tried several dishes, and while some were a bit too spicy for my taste, the flavors were great. I did try to request some items without spice, but that wasn't always possible. The margaritas were just okay--not bad, but not particularly memorable either. I wouldn't say they're among the best I've had. The tacos were definitely the highlight, especially the pork carnitas, absolutely delicious and highly recommended! Overall, it's a great place to spend an enjoyable time, with excellent service and fast attention. I would definitely come back, knowing what to order next time.

They have too many tables for the real estate of the restaurant and it feels less quaint and special, and more feed bag. The menu is ok - a bit eclectic. My husband ordered flautas and I got a crab cake and chips and salsa. The chips and salsa are awesome. Super yum. The flautas were ok, a little overcooked in the edges. The crab cake smelled and looked like cat food. It wasn't good. They also only have Pepsi, Diet Pepsi & Starry. That's it. The busser cleaned a table with a rag/towel and then reset the silverware without washing hands or anything. It was disturbing. The staff is nice, and the view is lovely. It was ok, it wasn't a $60 meal. There's a whole ass food court 200 steps away, with a huge variety of food. Just saying.

Small place with a kiosk order keypad so I read through the different POKE bowls and Sushi and decided to go with the tuna salmon burrito and added probably every option I could find and get some edamame. Placed my order and started to collect some condiments. After getting my Sriracha and a little bit of soy sauce, my order was ready and when they handed me the bag, I was shocked at how heavy it was! I think my order came out to about $28 total and this was huge! I got it to go brought it to my room had me a cold beer ready and opened up this beast. OMG! Sushi heaven. I got the Nori wrap and and had a little crunch, added to the proteins and fresh avocado and cut it in half and this was literally a meal for three! The best bargain I have seen in Vegas for the last week! I typically will spend $60-$70 on Sushi at my Sushi bar north of Atlanta. And I know have I gone to one of the local sushi bars I would've also spent over $100 and probably had not had as much food or fresh tuna, salmon and yellowtail. After cutting it in half I dipped it in my Sriracha pile and bid in to a wonderful flavorful fresh seafood bundle! Never had a sushi burrito, but I am hooked. Wish I would've come here earlier, but was literally only able to eat half of this and put the other half in my mini fridge and eat it the next day for lunch. Fresh ingredients, great flavors, brilliant execution, and it really hit the spot. Inexpensive and was exactly what I was looking for. Great staff and service. Highly recommend.!!!

The location itself is convenient and has plenty of seating both inside and outside. If you want to enjoy the Vegas weather and do some people watching, the outdoor seating is a great option. I ended up sitting inside to escape some of the noise from the promenade. Everything was clean and the booth seating was surprisingly comfortable. Ordering is done through a kiosk. Beyond sushi burritos, they also offer sushi rolls, hand rolls, bowls with rice or greens, teriyaki bowls, sides, desserts, and drinks. There's definitely enough variety for everyone to find something. I decided to order The Mission, which comes with salmon, imitation crab, shrimp tempura, poke sauce, spicy mayo, cream cheese, avocado, and wonton strips. I opted to leave off the cream cheese because I wanted something a little fresher and lighter tasting. I also added eel sauce and carrots since there are several sauces and add-ons available, including extra proteins and premium ingredients. My burrito came out to around $20, which honestly wasn't shocking. That's pretty comparable to what I'd expect to pay back home in San Diego, so at that point it really came down to whether the quality justified the price. The first thing I noticed was the size. This is probably the smallest sushi burrito I've ever been served. That being said, the rice-to-filling ratio was actually excellent. One of my biggest complaints with sushi burritos is when they're stuffed with rice and skimp on everything else. That definitely wasn't the case here. There were generous chunks of salmon throughout and all of the ingredients tasted fresh. The problem was that the burrito wasn't wrapped tightly enough to hold itself together once the paper wrapper came off. It started falling apart pretty quickly and became messy to eat. As for the flavor, this is where I felt a little disappointed. Nothing tasted bad. In fact, everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The salmon was good quality, the shrimp tempura added crunch, and the sauces were balanced. Even with the poke sauce, spicy mayo, and eel sauce, though, it felt like something was missing. After the first couple bites, I found myself less excited about it. By the time I got halfway through, I wasn't really craving the second half anymore. I finished it because I spent $20 on it, not because I couldn't stop eating it. If you're wandering the promenade and looking for a quick meal, JA Burritos is worth considering. Just don't expect it to be the sushi burrito that changes your life.

When I arrived, there was already a long line and a packed restaurant, which is usually a great sign. I'll also admit something about myself: I'm not really a "sit at the bar" person. Whether I'm dining alone or with friends, I'm almost always going to choose a booth or a table. However... I was hungry enough that the bar was going to have to do. As busy as the restaurant was, I was greeted and served almost immediately. I wish I had gotten my server's name because everyone working behind the bar was incredibly attentive and genuinely kind. Great service is appreciated anywhere, but it's even more impressive in a place like Las Vegas, where the pace never seems to slow down. Despite the constant crowd, they never made me feel rushed. They start you off with complimentary chips and salsa, which is always appreciated, but I'm definitely more of a guacamole girl, so I had to order a side of guac as well. For my drink, I ordered the Guayaba. I'll preface this by saying I'm an extra super-duper lightweight when it comes to alcohol, so what I consider "strong" may be perfectly normal for someone else. I definitely had to babysit that drink, but I also have to give credit where it's due--you could tell it was made with quality liquor. It wasn't just strong for the sake of being strong; it was well-crafted and balanced. For my entrée, I ordered the lobster enchiladas, and let me just pause right there... I'm actually pretty picky about enchiladas because they're one of those dishes that not everyone gets right. So I don't order them very often. These? Absolutely off the chain. They were rich, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and honestly one of the best restaurant meals I had during my Vegas trip. At one point, I seriously considered ordering another serving to take home on the plane... and then I realized that might've been just a little extra. Of course, I couldn't stop there. I also ordered a side of rice and beans, and I genuinely need to know who made that rice because it tasted like somebody's mom was back in the kitchen making sure everybody was fed. It had that homemade comfort-food quality that you just don't come across very often. What impressed me most is that Javier's doesn't rely solely on being located in one of the busiest hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Sometimes restaurants in high-profile locations can become more about the atmosphere than the food. That is not the case here. The food absolutely lives up to the reputation. This will be a mandatory stop every time I visit Las Vegas, and I'm already looking forward to exploring some of their other locations.
