Lady taking orders is clearly asleep at the wheel. It's been 20 minutes. She's sitting there picking on her phone and so i asked how my order is coming along. She called over to them. They said 05 more minutes there's not enough people here to be busy enough to forget my order. these people suck with service. ok now she's reacting to the review faster than i got the food. update here. i never ordered the pizza, that was the lady in front of me who was waiting in her car. i almost just asked for my money back to bail but then the food came while another guy was ordering. lady knew i was waiting and irritated and passed me the food. i ordered the tostones. picture shows 4 pieces, they give five. weird. asked for 3 beef 2 pork. received 3 pork and 2 beef. another service misstep. i asked for rice and beans on the side. lady asked if i wanted the small or the large and showed me the sizes. i said the large and specified combined. not sure if i was charged correctly but it came 2 items 1 large rice and 1 large beans (not combined). extra food i guess? Again bottom line service is lame. I want my tip back. So let's get down to the actual food. Pork is OK. Wouldn't call it great it's basically roast pork not much flavor. They do put a couple grilled onions on top which adds a minor amount of flavor. There were no sauces offered by the way no hot sauce or anything to enhance the dishes and there was nothing put out that people could grab sauce wise. The beef ones actually were good but again I only got two of those instead of three so not happy about that. It is the better dish of the two. It comes with a green olive to add to the flavor profile, but overall Tostones, I'm gonna give it like a three on a five scale maybe a 2.5. As for the rice and beans, the rice and beans were actually fabulous possibly the best rice and beans I've ever had. Gonna give those five out of five stars. All in I'm about 30 bucks for a very slow outside dining experience. Would I go here again absolutely not for 30 bucks I can get a full meal with possibly a drink around the corner of Chili's with fantastic service for the same price read more

This place is two things: Authentic and DELICIOUS! I almost never underestimate food trucks specifically because of places like this. If you get your food and were to eat it with blindfolds on, you might end up thinking you landed in Cuba lol. I got the cuban sandwich and it was soo good. I got it with plantains. I can't wait to come back here. The service was great. I got my order within about 10 minutes of placing it. I was also had about 4 people in front of me waiting for their food so it's definitely quick . The people are also very nice and help you decide on what to get. The ambiance is nice. They have seating outside and around the food truck. In located near a plaza and if you want you can go next door in the plaza and grab some beers and cigars. Great way to finish off a great meal. Being Cuban, I'm always on the hunt for Cuban food in Orlando. I saw this truck pop up on my Instagram and decided to go check it out. It's permanently parked in a shopping center close to the airport. I ordered the Palomilla sandwich. The steak was really well flavored and the bread was spot on. It was a large portion that I was able to split with someone else. My husband got the ropa vieja bowl with congris. The ropa vieja was a little salty for me, but he liked it. The congris were good. I also got an order of chicken croquettas. Chicken is my favorite and I always have to get it if I see it on a menu since so often places just have ham. The croquettas were tasty. They came with a sauce I didn't really care for, they were good on their own. Everything was made to order, so it took a bit but it was worth it. They were also very friendly. There are a few tables and chairs out so you can eat right there versus going to your car. read more

Have gone to Cubans on Wheels several times this year. Every time the food has been delicious, whether picadillo, vaca frita, ropa vieja, quesadilla, etc. Just like my mother used to make. They serve a good quantity & we usually end up bringing at least 1/2 of it home for a 2nd meal. The mamey shakes are to die for. My husband has become addicted to them! Too many things to choose from, so we tried to be strategic since we were only here for the night. I grew up in South FL, so Cuban food was on the menu quite often. I absolutely love cuban cuisine and this little hidden gem was definitely 10/10 for me. The service here was amazing and so friendly. Not gonna lie when I come to a Cuban or Spanish place I get a bit anxious that they won't speak English and immediately they reassured me that It was okay, and I wouldn't have trouble. So that was a huge plus off the bat for me. Ordering here was a breeze and they have so many delicious options. Especially at a affordable price which always makes me feel encouraged to get more. Conveniently located near my favorite movie theater and I decided to grab lunch after watching a movie. They have some tables and chairs to eat there. Also, there was plenty of parking. I took my meal home since I live nearby. I tried the Cuban sandwich with fries. The sandwich was really stuffed with ham and pork. The Cuban bread they use is really good. I also tried the Cuban coffee which was excellent. My husband really wanted the ropa vieja empanada and when we got home realized that although our receipt showed we paid for one, the empanada we received was a guava and cheese empanada (it was labeled guava and cheese). They were pretty busy and the lady taking orders seemed rushed and was perhaps overwhelmed. I would recommend if you take your meal to go to check your bag for accuracy. read more

If you're coming here you should budget plenty of time! We waited for an hour for 2 sandwiches and 3 small empanadas!!! Let's get right into it... The Cuban sandwich is great! It's traditional and stacked with meat = worth the price. The steak sandwich is decent, not nearly stacked with as much meat as the Cuban and therefore I I find it a little overpriced. The empanadas are small, hence why i consider them to be overpriced but the guava and cheese one is delicious. Didn't care for the picadillo empanada at all, and the chicken one was decent. Ps. The flan is homemade and is to die for. Service was excellent and she was very helpful. There are only two locations for their food trucks one by the airport and one by Universal Studios.
