Traveling across the state and stopped in Orlando, what luck. We stayed near a Cuban Food Truck, and the food was AWESOME!!! Too many things to choose from, so we tried to be strategic since we were only here for the night. I grew up in South FL, so Cuban food was on the menu quite often. So to compare, I would say....some of the best....Look at the size of the Cuban Sandwhich...crunchy, juicy, tasty....Yummm!!! Empanadas were crunchy and full of whatever you chose. This is by far one of the best Cuban places I've been to! The Cuban sandwich is so delish. I got the sweet plantains as the side and they were perfectly cooked. The flan is homemade and is to die for. Service was excellent and she was very helpful. There are only two locations for their food trucks one by the airport and one by Universal Studios. Everything is made fresh to order and it shows. The one at the airport had outside tables to sit at and we enjoyed the food. read more

Stopped by first thing in the morning and I was already third in line. I ordered the Cuban from the owner who got my sandwich made right away as I was running for the airport. Some of the best Cubanos I've ever had. It's hard to find a solid Cubano on the west coast so when I'm in FL, it's one of the first things I seek out. These sandwiches are HUGE. Please take that statement seriously. I am a 6'2, 200+lb dude and I can throw down. I barely was able to eat all of this, even though I'd skipped lunch. the flavors were vivd and fantastic and I wish I had one right now but I'm several thousand miles away. Tried several bowls so far and not one has disappointed me yet. I wasn't a huge fan of the croquetas (or croquettes, if we stick to English here). But take that with a grain of salt because I am notoriously picky with my croquetas. Other patrons seemed to be enjoying them throughly. I would personally recommend any of the bowls and definitely get you "Wow wow wow" shot with their Instagram personality- she is a joy and always there! It's a permanent food truck in a shopping center, so plenty of parking nearby. It's close to the airport, so I swung by after returning from a flight. There are several tables outside if you want to sit there or take it to go. There were a few people ahead of me waiting for their food, but it didn't take long and the staff were friendly. Okay... I want to start by thanking all you Yelpers out there, because without you, we never would have found this little gem! We had too many items, because we couldn't decide, but I wouldn't change a thing!! We had the fried cheese bites with guava jam, and I nearly died! The empanadas (ropa vieja, picadillo, and guava/cheese) were as close to perfect as you can get. The croquettes (ham & chorizo) were crispy on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. The Cuban sandwich is ridiculously yummy and sooooo filling... definitely shareable! The Vaca Frita with white rice & black beans and sweet plantains was amazing as well! We popped over to the little market next door and picked up a couple of beers to enjoy in their little courtyard with our meal to the soundtrack of Gloria Estefan music in the background, in the cool spring breeze. Last but certainly not least, the people are the final ingredient to this great dining experience. The two lovely people pictured in the food truck were such warm and wonderful hosts welcoming us like guests in their home! It was so nice! Do yourself a favor and give this place a try! read more

Get the Congri Rice and Tostones with this bowl. Absolutely amazing, look at all that pork! This is my ultimate dream, food truck next to a convenience store. For $20 I had a 24oz beer (convenience store) and some of the best Cuban food, I've ever had. Not only for lunch but enough leftovers for dinner! Best authentic Empanadas Ive had in the states! Plus it's a family owned business, which I love.

In a sea of corporate mediocrity is this oasis of genuine flare. I frequent the area for business and am always dreading my usual suspects of dining option, but recently found this food truck and have been saved. The empanadas, a staple for any cuban restaurant worth its weight were fantastic, challenging any I have ever had before. Must order at least one and for the price they are large and filling. The Cuban Sandwich, another go to Cuban treat did not disappoint. The pork was moist, the cheese melty and the bread a perfect crisp. I like extra pickles with mine so next time I'll ask for a few more. My only mistake was ordering too much food. The portions are as big as the flavor and pairs with the chill patio vibes this place has established. Don't let the location, yes it's a food truck in a parking lot but it feels like your a million miles away from the rat race going on across the street. If you're in the area don't settle for the usual chain joint, park the car next to this truck and enjoy some great Cuban flavors and great Cuban hospitality. read more
