I had this unit over a year after downgraded to a smaller two bedroom apt. My stuff is still in good condition the way I left it. No mice issues or water damage. I chose this place because it is very secure. It's not open 24 hours so I can't get my stuff and people can't steal it overnight. I have taken stuff out and put stuff in with no issues. I had a very uncomfortable experience at this location. The manager, Kathy, was very rude and dismissive when I tried to address an issue regarding my storage unit. Her tone felt unprofessional and disrespectful throughout the interaction. When I calmly brought up concerns about how I was being spoken to, the situation escalated in a way I did not expect. I was threatened with police involvement simply for expressing concerns about her tone and asking questions about my unit and the store policy. I did not feel heard, respected, or treated fairly as a customer. I hope management takes customer service and professional communication more seriously moving forward. read more

Rats and roaches everywhere. The guy in the unit next to mine took out his stuff and it was covered in bite marks from all the rats. Mold growing all over the units and everything inside. They were supposed to refund me for a month and never did. Filthy and shady. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Got there at 6:45pm after a crazy day of running errands and packing cause I was moving out of the country the next day. We had to drop two small bags of valuable stuff we're not able to take on the plane with us. All the gates were closed and the office door's gate was halfway closed, so we could knock and someone opened. We told the woman at reception that we needed to drop our two bags really fast and she said 'last call' was at 6:45, I checked the clock and it was 6:46, I told her it was 6:45 when we got in and now she said last call was at 6:43. We told her we called in the morning and they said they closed at 7pm, we checked the website and my contract and it said access hours from Monday to Friday are 8am to 7pm and she kept saying she couldn't let us in. We explained our specific situation and told her we couldn't go the next day because we had an early flight and she wouldn't listen and she would just talk over me and yell. We went outside at 6:49 and found out that office and access hours were posted outside the building and both said 8 to 7. We tried to get into the office again (wasn't 7 yet) and she closed the gate in our faces. We called a phone number we found on the website and talked to a customer service agent, she tried to call the office to tell her to let us in and they wouldn't pick up the phone. I'm just mesmerized of how rude this woman was to us and how she wouldn't even let us talk or listen to us. read more

I spent the day (on and off of course) trying to pay you guys. It's 2017 why can't I pay a bill online. Better yet why can't I pay over the phone. How can these systems not work and from the looks of other reviews I'm not the only one. Unfortunately, I don't get paid to be on the phone with you all. Not worth it just pay more and avoid the BS.I've literally called over 7x just to do 1 thing. Disgusting ------- **Update ** RUN before you commit. There's only one person that can actually have any power the district manager I believe is his title. Good luck trying to get in touch with him. The call center is primarily for sales, the people at the location could care less and hardly pick up the phone. Staff was super friendly. Sophia gave me all the payment options and gave me a tour of the place. I didn't feel rushed in making a decision at all. Can't say enough about how friendly the staff are and how affordable the units are compared to other places during peak season. They followed up with me within 24 hours. Only reason I gave four stars is because the units are not as nice/new as some of the other CubeSmart locations in northern BK. Not a place you can access 24 hours a day but perfect for the simple storage i needed. read more

If I could give no stars I would. From the store to the district manager I find that there is limited professionalism and courtesy offered. It's a low security establishment with some of their clients using their storage facility as housing!! I should've thought twice when I saw the makeshifts. But nonetheless all my items were stolen out of my storage unit! Story begins: I had a representative leave me a message informing me to make a payment on my account but when I called in to make the payment she asked if I removed my items for my unit because it was empty. I told her no when I asked her what happens now she couldn't inform me of that procedure so I was transferred to her manager then to another manager - all who could not inform me of what resolution they can offer in light of the situation. At that point I asked for the number for the district manager; they told me they do not have a number for him and that I must call an 800 number and go through customer solutions. I called customer solutions and the gentleman I spoke with was very sensitive to my situation and expedited my inquiry. Within 60 minutes I received a call from the district manager Patrick Geoghegan. I explained my situation to him and then he tells me the same thing they tell me in store. Oh we are not at liberty to disclose what the next steps are we have to review your case. I was calm at the beginning of the conversation but became ecstatic at the sound of his response which was cold; he was desensitized and when I told him he was not helping he condescendingly informed me that I should've come in sooner if it were that important to me. At that point I understood why the employees were so dismissive, look at the behavior of their district manager....I could've flipped!! Then there was he back and forth about insurance which he says is not on my account which was verified by another employee at the store location. I asked him for his managers number so I could further escalate my claim and he gives me the same 800 customer service number to call! Then on top of it he continues to be haughty by using long drawn out sounds to spell his name. I am utterly disgusted, disappointed and dissatisfied with the treatment I received from the cube smart employees I encountered. If you do store your items there be wary and make sure to visit your unit from time to time. You might wanna put up your own camera to guard your items. read more

I do appreciate the people whom work at this location I haven't had any problems so far with this location. To me everyone for the most part is friendly and helpful to me. The managers Brandi you deserve a raise for how far and beyond you go for the customers and you to rah y'all always got good energy when I come here keep the good vibes going at this location. This spot is A1 in my book. Outside of the workers the location isn't bad it has character to say the least but the customer service again is what makes this place great. read more

Reserved online and confirmed over the phone with a very nice customer service rep (in PA.) I was told that the hours were until 7pm. I left work at 5pm and arrived there at about 6:30pm. (The joys of the MTA!) When I got there, the guy at the desk acted like there was no way he could help me. He said I would have to come back tomorrow. I said no. He agreed to show me the storage unit but asked what I would be storing. Of the things I mentioned, one was an A/C unit. He asked if I could climb a ladder and lift these things overhead to put them in the unit. I said no. He agreed to show me a unit, on the second floor, that was exactly this. The condition of the other units was also very poor. While we were walking out to see the unit, a woman came in with suitcases and said she wanted to put those in her unit. Guy acted annoyed and said the cut off is 6:30pm. Then he let her go to her storage unit while we looked at the overhead thing I told him wouldn't work. He said the only ones he had that were lower would be larger: 5 x 9 or 5 x10. And they would cost over $100. I reserved a small unit because I don't need much space, but it does need to be reasonably accessible. Carrying an air conditioner up a ladder is not my idea of accessible. So I left the rude guy and didn't give them any money. Now looking at the other reviews, I'm glad I didn't. I'm probably better off leaving my things at my brother's in CT than dealing with these people. read more

I've never had a good time here. From the beginning there were problems. When I went to open a unit, I reserved a cube online, came in and showed my reservation, and was shown spaces that were outside of my price range and nothing close to what was listed on the website. I had reserved a climate controlled space at a reasonable price. What I got was a humid room, and was over charged by the folks in the office, despite the fact I had a printed copy of my reservation showing a lower price. With movers I had hired standing with me in the office, I was faced with little to no options other than to accept the higher rate, less than quality storage space, and move in. Have heavy furniture to move around? Good luck handling their antiquated and shoddy carts that have a mind of their own. My partner and I called every day trying to get our money back, and were only met with attitude from those we called. We finally were put in touch with a regional manager in PA who refunded us our overpayment and apologized for any inconvenience. As my partner and I got more settled into Brooklyn, we wanted to move more things into the storage unit. We arrived at 6pm, 1 hour before closing, to find all but 1 entrance closed down for the day. We had to lug all of our furniture around a maze of aluminum walls to find our way to elevator -- one we could see from our car, but couldn't reach due to the gate being closed. Needless to say, were 1.5 months into having our things at this Cubesmart and are already looking at other options. read more

Really annoying store. The units are not well kept and the place is pretty understaffed. The staff that are there do the best they can, but this place needs a revamp. The most frustrating thing is that you can no longer pay online. They stopped sending bill reminders and then stopped the online payments. I have also had major issues trying to pay by phone. Given their awkward hours and limited staff, making an in person payment is kind of ridiculous. read more
