The $1 "first month fee" only applies to some units and does NOT include two required add-on's: (A) a $25 admin fee and a (B) $20 lock for the unit. So while you get a month of rent almost for free, there is fine print that costs $45. Just a heads-up on that. The climate-controlled units are really nice; the hallways use motion sensors to light as you walk around and it's 55-degrees all day and night, so perfect regardless of outside conditions. There are no electrical outlets understandably, so if you need light, you can store/bring an electric light source just in case the hallway lighting isn't enough for you. This is a big place, so the front office is kind enough to borrow out [upon request] two flatbed carts so you can roll stuff away from your vehicle. Nice touch! I recommend reserving online to get the best price and availability. This location has an awkward entrance and exit onto Irving Park Road (it only works well if you're headed west and then continuing west, haha). Of course, that's what a U-Turn is for... :-)

The manager knew what she was doing when she created my account. I do agree they are a bit shady.

Having a very smart mouth is nothing to bragg about but I'm sure she is proud about that fact & thinks she entitled to do as she pleases. Better to catch one of the other employees on Sunday or Monday as they have a much better demeanor than she'll ever have. Rent deals last 6 months, then it's around a 30% increase every 6 months until the day one moves out.

In the past, when something truly urgent came up, they would call or at least send multiple forms of communication -- phone calls, emails, and letters -- so we knew to act immediately. This time, they switched to only email without any phone calls or clear indication that an auction was imminent. We had no idea things had escalated so far until it was too late. If you value your belongings, be aware that their communication practices are unreliable when it matters most.

(10x10) The…read moremanager was friendly and explained their policies and that they are generally not responsible for damage that could occur and you would need your own insurance. They rent on a month by month basis but there was an option to pay for an entire year. While the website says the types of payments they accept does not include CC the manager said they can but they charge the customer the CC fee they would be charged and they let you know that up front. The price is reasonable and it was stated that it only goes up yearly. So as of now I am quite satisfied with the place and a bonus it that it is only a mile a way. Despite what Yelp says about where I am located, I really do live in Aurora, IL

The parking lot is well lit and fenced all around. The manager lives on site and is always. I plan on using them from here on out. Very pleased.
