I honestly don't understand how this location only has two stars on Yelp--it makes no sense. Liz and Chris are fantastic and make this the best storage place in the area. When I originally rented the unit, the location was clean, it had carts, the doors worked and it was reasonable. Now I have no access to carts unless I am available to come within inconvenient office hours, my rate is has increased substantially, the service and reliability has decreased. For over a month the double overhead garage doors were inoperable, I called the office once to discuss the situation with Liz. She was not courteous enough to let me speak, but pretty much told me if I didn't like it, I could leave. So I did. read more

*Don't go there to Elk Grove village Illinois location*. They are infested with mice. A few different Friends units had all their stuff infested and ruined. They lost pretty much everything. The place is always dirty mow to. It was never like this until this company name took over. It was disgusting the amount of mouse crap all over and in their stuff. They have no food or anything like that. They've had their units for a couple years and never had an issue then the place sends letters to tenants to tell them their not responsible to any mice damages. Never did I ever get a letter like that and I was there for five years to until I vacated. They clearly know they are infested to send those letters for the first time ever. Disgusting. read more

MICE OR RAT FECES IN STORAGE UNITS!! I saw rodent feces in my units and reported to mgr Dan. He was pissed I said anything. He said "Econo lab was taking care of it" ( the mice and/or rat INFESTATION). i was there yesterday, THERE WAS RODENT CRAP ALL IN MY UNIT! In 30 yrs of storage, I have never seen rodent $hit! There was a teeney silver box labeled Econo lab by a side door that was open (so much for security...). It is 80-90 degrees outside now. In the winter, all of these rats and mice are going to eat couch pillows, clothing and nest and piss and defecate all over the storage contents people are paying ALOT OF MONEY TO STORE. And coporate does not care. Shamefull. read more

Saw a unit on-line, showed up to check it out, price went up. Then I go home and make a reservation on-line and they call me twice to confirm, showed up with my stuff and they ask for even more. Nothing they mentioned in our four previous discussions. Then they may also try to sell you a lock, insurance, storage chemicals and anything else they can. read more

I came looking for something simple and easy and that is what I got. I needed a small 5x7 unit to for only a couple weeks and Dan was extremely helpful and nice. He showed me several units that could work for me and once I settled on one it was breeze from there. No hassles, no waiting. This part of my moving process was another thankfully a breeze! read more
