This is the worst storage I have ever seen. There is a hole in the fence that management is in no hurry to fix. There are no cameras on the units, only on the front entrance. If your unit gets broken into instead of being helpful they will talk about evicting you. Anyone can come through the hole and cut your hasp or lock and take your stuff. I just want people to know about how great of a business this is. My wife and I were in a tough spot and had to move quickly. Cube Smart has the best deal at the time and set us up, with the close of business being 10 minutes away. We dealt with Yolanda who, in my opinion, loves her job. Even if she doesn't, you wouldn't be able to tell. The rest of the staff, from my experiences, have been great, any time that I've called in. Very professional and helpful. Not to sound like a tool but being in the hospitality management business and industry for over 15 years has certainty broaden my knowledge and understanding of what true customer service is and can offer businesses a promising future or be its' demise if lacking. It came to no surprise then, upon first visiting the Yelp page for CubeSmart to leave this review that I saw other posts signing the praises of Yolanda Outlaw. Thank God for her awesome last name because I have a memory of a gnat. I recently have been dealing with a sudden, unplanned for move after discovering my apartment was being illegally subleased to me. I had a difficult time finding adequate storage that wasn't ridiculously priced for all of my belongings. Yolanda was a Godsend. I felt comfortable upon receiving a warm and personable greeting from her. After quickly and informatively going though several options with me she then took it upon herself to take the time and peer at my Ford truck worth of my stuff and suggested the best, most economical option for me which was hands down still better deal than any of the multitudes of other companies I looked into. Main point is that Yolanda cared and that's an unfortunate rarity in today's world let alone businesses. I hope this yelp page is something that the corporate heads review because they need to know and care about the fact that they have employees such as Yolanda Outlaw working for and representing their company. It was her that made me go with the final decision of utilizing CubeSmart for my storage needs and I strongly doubt I'm the only customer who's had such a positive experience from Yolanda (even this Yelp page supports my claim.). People are always first to speak up when disappointed but it should be the same when you have the opposite, positive experience due to someone's work ethic and quality of character such as Yolanda's. She had called me yesterday, informing me that she promptly placed another lock on the unit when she noticed the issue during her regular inspection. They have a grate staff. It had dirt cheap pricing of you can't afford much so I'm giving one star for each. They have a MAJOR problem with theft and it has electrical problems. Sometimes the electricity works and sometimes not. It is located in a low income area and so you find a lot of aggro individuals on the property. Dirty underwear are a normal find on the ground. The employees are constantly cleaning but the customers are so nasty they are fighting an uphill battle. The company won't fix the major problems if it means a costly repair. They just put a bandage on it. There is no onsite manager and is in a bad part of town. If you are broke then this is the place. If you want quality then go to Exrea Space. You pay more there but you get what you pay for. Insurance is required so if you have homeowners insurance you should bring it or you will be forced to pay for Bader Insurance that is not worth anything when you need to place a claim due to theft. read more

I needed to get some things put in storage because I am moving. I look at the reviews to see what past customers were saying about the location in my area . Well I tell you I saw some good reviews and some pretty awful ones yet I decided why not give them a chance. I go down to cube smart in Long Beach California I have the pleasure of working with Jerry to find me a storage unit. Jerry and I goes to look at the unit that was supposed to be for me but it doesn't open something is wrong with the door. I asked Jerry why did he bring me all the way over to the unit and it not usable the door will not come open no matter how hard he tries Jerry kindly apologies and looks on his list only to go to a unit that also does not open. Now he getting a little frustrated and tell me how he does not work at the location all the time and he is normally in the city of Walnut well I sure am glad that he was here today if it was not for his customer service I would have left after the second unit was not workable. (I won't mention how many he tried) However Jerry was not giving up. Once we found one that did come open it looked to small for the things that I needed to store. But he also stood his ground I said out of all of the touring of all these unit I should be able to get a discount or something on a larger unit Jerry once again in s kind voice said if it was Jerry storage he could make that possible but it not so we will just see what special are on for the month. We went inside and did the paper work. We finished all the paperwork Jerry and I go outside so he can show me how the gate code works. The gate does not work it will not take the code or something I tell Jerry I really do appreciate all that you have done but I don't want to come to the unit and not be able to get in Larry over heard our conversation and ask me what the problem was and I explained this is not going to work for me if I can only come doing office hours. Larry put a code in the gate and it being to work he gives me his personal cell phone number and says if I ever come and the gate does not come open he will come to open it himself but I would have to give him a little time to get there because he would be riding a bike these two guys are are awesome. read more

Storage isn't the best I experienced, I think the best thing about this storage, when I got it the 1st day was the wonderful Lady that took us on the tour of the storage. Don't recall her name but she was Hispanic. Now what really bothered me was the fact that, As I started to unload my things in storage a guy pops out of nowhere and just starts to look suspect . Saying I was in the way of his storage yet his was nowhere near mines, But anyways he ends up asking me which storage is mines, Now who in there right mind would tell some stranger which storage belongs to me..LOL, But what really bothered me, is that I assumed there's security cameras and staff viewing them. I asked my self, wow they let people walk around here like its the thing to do. Well this guy pops up again that's when I felt this guy is just snooping around seeing what I have that's valuable, and still not once did any staff or security pop up. I can say I made about 4 trips guaranteed thru out the day and evening and this same guy was still there walking around. Now that's really bad for this Business to let people walk around storage that people rent with valuable things in them and not once tell or say a word to them about it as if its the thing to do. Oh and to top it off they have Garbage Dumpsters there but in order for client to use them, We have to pay for use of them that's ridiculous. And reading the bad reviews here about storage's being broken into is all bad. Worries me a lot. I will not continue after my month is over. But I will contact management and let them know about all this as well. read more

I walked into the office after reserving a space and met with La terra. The office was very clean and organized all of the staff was friendly but, La terra stood out she was genuinely happy to make sure that all of our storage needs were met. She thoroughly explained all of the policies and because of her we booked on the spot. I had just looked at a unit about a week ago and this owner was friendly as well, but the cleanliness of the facility did not compare to CubeSmart. I would recommend this facility. read more
