Online says they open 10, the door said they open at 8a, and the number online vs on the door were different. The neon sign said open but no one came to the door or answered the phone and there were 4 cars waiting. Further, there was glass in the parking lot and WORST OF ALL was watching one disgruntled person FORCE THE AUTO SLIDING DOORS OPEN! What?! Aren't they supposed to be locked and this place secure? How could someone slide them open with ease?! How would or could I as a prospective customer ever want to store my stuff here?! No thanks. Unreliable. Untrustworthy. Poor business practices.

I moved in and told I would get credit for having my own storage lock key for my next promo month. I only needed it for two months while my apartment was ready. I never got the credit and when I went in the go ask about it I accidentally said "refund" and Jarrius who was working at the front kept coming at me with technicalities and saying "we don't do refunds" which I understood, so I just explained how I was upset that I didn't ever get my promo when I was gonna cancel and instead he raised his voice explaining the same thing again. I just gave up. So useless, and disappointing because when I first came in he was so nice and helpful. They sure know how to get you in and when they take your money they just treat you that way. Found roaches and ants in my storage anyway.

Our insurance which we do have, made a mistake on the VIN info. And RJ wouldn't let us talk to Jay to explain. He refused our rental. We needed to store our trailer because the city of Carson is giving tickets for parking our trailer outside of our house while we are preparing to move. We left and found another storage in Orange County when Daniel called and said that we could get the space at Cherry Carson RV because they offer their own insurance. Even though we have proof of insurance. So thank you Daniel for doing your job and fixing what RJ couldn't. The place seems clean and secure. Easy access. It's close to our home. So the value of that alone is helpful. I will update in a month on any changes.

If you choose to go with them, I recommend trying to get a locker on the first or second floor in case this happens again.

Upon coming here, there was a lot of room for desire. Though, I have seen some improvements following John Romero's management. Room for desire- While I haven't had many issues in my storage units, I have definitely witnessed several leaks in the halls during the rainy season. And I would really like for their hours to start earlier and or go later on certain days. Due to work, I can only get in IF I leave work early. Other than that, I'm left to weekends which makes it tough when moving things in /out, which I do, fairly regularly. Last but not least, there were break-ins in the past but I think their vigilance with their cameras have made a difference. There are cameras at all entries / exits as well as in the hallways, abound. Notable- Mariana is one of the leads that I primarily look to for both information and support. She knows the facility well, understand's how things work, is incredibly patient, responsive, and kind. Her customer service is outstanding. If I was you, I'd ask for her when I call. Mariana is one of the primary reasons my partner and I have decided to continue going to Signal Hill Storage in 2024.

We have been storing our travel trailer here for a year now. We find the place to be well managed, clean, and secure. We have also found the manager to be helpful, but she runs a tight ship; and I appreciate that. I do wish the hours of access were broader, sometimes we'd like to pick up or drop off outside the 8-6 window. We were given only 1 gate card, would be nice if both spouses could have one. Spaces aren't wide enough to open any slides, but wide enough to manage backing a trailer with a pickup. Site is level. There is a dump station on site, but new haven't needed to use it yet since we always dump before hitting the road. We are very glad to have a spot here.
