Went there for a late lunch and the place was about half full. Service was good but not great but luckily we did not need much. I had the chicken parm and it was took 1/3 of it home. It was very good. My wife had the carbonara and loved it. It's a cute place downtown and has very reasonable pricing. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have given this place MULTIPLE chances and enough is enough. My family has gone here for years, in groups of 2-5, they'd be considered regulars. Today we had a party of 11 (yes a large group for a small space, we know), which is why we called ahead to reserve a table. We get there and see there was another smaller group in the only section where you could have a larger group. When we asked if we would be seated together the waitress said yes, at different tables but next to each other. We calmly explained that we would like to be together, which is why we called. The man behind the counter, the OWNER, nastily interrupts and says "that's all I got" and throws his hands up in the air. To which we responded that we will be leaving because we want to be together and that his attitude was not necessary. We told him we called and made a reservation for this reason. He then responds "Yes, you did call. 11 people, we have a table for the 5 kids and a table for the 6 adults". I'm sorry, but in what WORLD would a family want to separate the children and the adults, and not be together?! This is the second time we have gone where we have been given a NASTY attitude. I don't care if customers are "regulars" or first-time customers- that's not how a business should be run, and that's not how you speak to a customer. We will not be going ever again. read more

This restaurant is underrated. We go to several amazing restaurants all of the Nofo and this one is our must haves. Pasta dishes are terrific. The dine in experience is so nice. It feels like a neighborhood restaurant and the service is lovely. Just recently we did a delivery and hands down, that was a nice option to have the restaurant have delivery service. No offense to the major app based delivery services, but I truly appreciate the customer service tied to the delivery too. This says a lot on how much they support their customers. Back to the food, we liked the linguini and clam sauce (real clams), their garlic nots are perfect texture, marinara sauce is good, spaghetti and meatballs and pizza. Donna and her team made us feel welcomed. We heard that the food was very generous in size. We generally enjoy Italian food, so we ventured here to celebrate Mom's birthday. We noticed every detail of charm in the restaurant. There was a lot of character and beautiful Italian scenery painted on the walls. To start off, we got complimentary bread, garlic knots, and olive oil. Then we ordered the following: 1. Veal Parmigiana with a side of steamed vegetables 2. Veal Marsala with Angel hair pasta with Ceasar salad 3. I ordered from the Pasta Night Menu, which included a soup or salad, pasta, and a dessert. For my starter, I chose the Tortellini in Brodo Soup. My choice of pasta was the Penne Alla Vodka with chicken. For dessert, I got the Rainbow Cookie cake for Mommy. We went here prior to a show at the Suffolk Theatre. I had chicken Parmesan and it came with a lovely fresh salad and garlic knots for the table. The service was excellent, and the food was plenty full and delicious. This was my first visit and I would go back. It's a bit noisy because of the takeout pizza but the food is so good that people at the tables don't mind. It's worth a visit. read more

Buonissimo! This place came recommended by a local so of course we had to try. It was busy on a Saturday evening; there was a line out of the door of people ordering take out, and most of the restaurant was full. The service was great considering how busy it was, we were well looked after. The chicken saltimbocca was unbelievably delicious. The chicken was so tender and moist, the sauce was thick and creamy, and the pasta was al dente and perfect. This is my 3rd time eating at Cucina 25. I thought that I left a review but I didn't, so here it is. Sean the owner at Cucina 25 is busy behind the counter working the pizza ovens. He always greets you with a big hello. Today we sat ourselves and ordered a half pepperoni pie. The pizza was huge and loaded up with pepperoni, served nice and hot! The sauce was delicious, not spicy and the cheese nice and gooey! My other visits, I ordered take out dinner. Veal Parmigiano with pasta and an eggplant parm. Both dinner were generous portions and delicious. We also got a dozen garlic knots, yummy. We have yet to hit a so so dinner here. Their food is amazing, stop in and say hi to Sean! read more

A group of eight of us had an early dinner here today. The salads were very good. The baked clams, calamari and bruschetta were all very good. The dinners were amazing. Eggplant parmigiana, chicken parmigiana, and every entree were incredible and well portioned. The restaurant is small and I really did not expect the quality to be so high, but it was great. Came here for lunch. Place was clean and good amount of spacing between tables. Ordered the boneless wings with BBQ sauce, whole wheat penne with grilled chicken, chicken parm pasta. The boneless wings came in a timely manner. The portion was more than I expected and was perfect for sharing between 2 people. The chicken itself was decent. Chicken wasn't dry and the skin was crispy with good amount of sauce. The entrees took a while to come out (about 45 min) when there's only one other table that was eating in. Great food, cool space and friendly staff! I went to the Long Island aquarium and was looking for a late lunch spot nearby, found this place on google that was a 10 minute walk away (or 2-3 minute drive), I was with a bigger group and we first wanted to try jerry and mermaid but they didn't have seats since we didn't call ahead for reservations, so had to look for another option nearby, called this place up and they confirmed they could accommodate a group of 16 so we went and got seated quickly, they set the tables up for us so we can sit close by. The food was great! Portion was perfect for sharing. Loved the garlic bread with mozzarella and clam with linguine, very friendly staff and highly recommended! read more
