Been meaning to write a review for a while. Since Pazzo burned down we've had to find another pizza place with vegan options. Alfies is a great alternative. Family member that ordered Gluten Free Detroit Pizza was very happy! She said it was the best gluten free pizza she's had. Thick, fluffy and crispy crust. Employees are friendly so will be frequenting this place. Just hope they will put some vegan entrees on the menu as well read more

We came here after visiting with my MIL. This shop is less than ten minutes from her house, so it's super convenient. Hubby had been eyeing this spot for some time now. When we got there, we found parking in front. It was around 3p on a Sunday. The place is spacious. They have large seating in front, a dining room and bar in the back, as well as a patio. I wanted to sit in the patio area but they have plants and herbs growing out there, and the bees have been festive this season. We ordered our pizza up front. The young lady that was helping us was very patient and nice. We ordered quite a few slices since they have a large selection. They heated everything up and put it all on trays for us. The condiments are neatly arranged near the pickup area. We sat and ate. The pizza was very good. I had a sauseej and roni sicilian, hubby had two slices of their chicken ranch, and our kiddo had their BBQ chicken slice, and a slice of a thicc sicilian circle pie - that thing was huge but really good! We ordered some drinks from the bar but we're a little disappointed that the juice they used is from a can. It has a fake taste and we didn't like that but everything else was on point. I'm sure you can't go wrong with a glass of wine. They have pizza kits and all kinds of other specialty pizzas. I was tempted to get a slice of their pepperoni slice with the garlic know crust. That would have been overkill for me. I made sure to grab menus so we can leave them over at the MIL's house for future ordering. read more

Just had one of the best pizzas I've tasted in a long time. The spicy vodka sauce was the real standout -- creamy, rich, with just the right amount of heat that sneaks up on you in the best way. Paired with perfectly crisp pepperoni that curled at the edges and packed a punch of flavor, every bite was unreal. The crust was crispy. I could honestly eat a whole pie. Great food , nice place . Love the apps.. the bread , and the salad dressing is so good . You must try the fresh made mozzarella and soppresatta. We had mozzarella sticks today , even they were so good . Eggplant parm, chicken parm , fettuccine Alfredo, everything is so good. Their pasta is always perfectly cooked with a nice amount of sauce. What a great find!! We wanted some pizza delivered but couldn't agree on a place. We were both tired of our usual places so we decided to give Alfies a try. When our order said delivered but nothing had arrived I called up - I figured it was a computer glitch. The manager told us it was waiting for pick up and apologized profusely for the wait. I offered to come pick it up but she insisted on bringing it herself. 10 min later one of the chefs was at my door also apologizing again and again while he was handing over a hot pie. In a day an age where all we see are negative reviews and Karen's - it's refreshing to see real customer service! The food ... The pizza was great! We got half white which was very tasty - not bland like some places. This had flavor! The other half their classic plain - so good! The sauce is wonderful! We also loved the garlic knot crust. They even threw in something to apologize for the delay. It's hard nowadays to find a place that has great food and great customer service. This place has both! Visiting from the city, my husband was ready to be a pizza snob. This place had great reviews and I'll always trust a spot where people are consistently buying the dough. Came here with a toddler so it was definitely an early dinner lol. Everyone was so sweet and friendly, they had high chairs too. We got the baked clams from the waiter's recommendation and a half plain half pepperoni pizza. It was delicious, honestly. The clams were great - each one was quite large with plenty of clam. The pizza was terrific and I was craving it a day later, so good. Sounds like they just renovated the place too so it was huge and clean. We sat in the back patio since it was a lovely day and it was really nice. Good awnings/covering from the sun and just a nice atmosphere. There was a more casual "pizza parlor" style area in the front as well as a fancier dining area inside so it really covered a lot of vibes. Would definitely recommend read more

My daughter & her family were staying with me and found Alfie's online. We had a plain pizza, a specialty grandma with Procuitto, Caesar salad & fried raviolis. OMG! How did I not know about this place? It has absolutely the best pies around. Even the delivery guy said his car smelled delicious and that he loved the pizza there. First time coming here and I'm not sure if it was an off night but the Detroit pie I received was barely edible. The crust was extremely over cooked to the point where it was rock hard with no chew. The sauce was devoid of any moisture and was extremely salty. The top of the pie barely had any cheese on it and the little it did have crusted over and was hard. read more

FANTASTIC service -,EXTREMELY clean throughout. Two sisters own this pizzeria and newly opened restaurant. Not only do they make their own pizza dough, they also make their own bread - which is given to everyone in the restaurant when you order your food selections. My husband had their fried calamari and I had their PIE muscles as our appetizers. The fried calamari, obviously, fried, was not at all greasy and the steamed muscles were absolutely delicious. Love this recent discovery. They are associated with Del Fiore next door, where you can't go wrong. Hence, you can't go wrong with Alfie's, either. Their pizza is good with fresh toppings (try the garlic knot crust at least once!). The sandwiches are made with care, and the soups are homemade. Everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients. Highly recommend! read more

Had the Neapolitan and Detroit pie. Excellent pizza, very nice place on the inside, nice people. Round pie was exactly what you want in a "NY slice" and for the North Shore of Suffolk this stands out. Also had the Detroit pie which was great as well. Will be back to try others for sure. read more

I'm new to the area and happily discovered Del Fiore Italian Market about 6 weeks ago. It was like the Italian delis back in Queens and Brooklyn. One of the two sister owners Lorraine told me that Alfie's very soon. Well now it's open so I wanted to try the pizza, because I've always found that if the pizza is good then you can be pretty sure the rest of the menu will be good. As soon as I got in my car I grabbed a slice. Before I finished my first slice I had to go back in to tell the owner that the pizza is Outstanding! Definitely the best pizza I've had since moving to the area. Alfie's is definitely my new go to Pizza place, as Del Fiore is now my go to Italian deli read more

Just got regular slices. I usually can tell if a pizza shop is good if their regular is good. It was excellent! The sauce was delicious, crust and bottom were cooked just right and the slice is big! Only thing I recommend is to change the color of the outside. I couldn't tell it's a pizza shop from the outside! Nothing to do with the quality of food but might improve the visibility:) read more

I was very curious what was going to replace Caruso's for quite some time. Caruso's was a solid place but with a horrible owner and standard. So yesterday we gave it a shot. The inside looks like a cleaned up version of the prior pizzeria. Prices are slightly higher but nothing ridiculous. The staff were very courteous and pleasant. We decided to try a regular large pie and a chicken parm hero. The sauce was perfect. Not bland or too sweet. A good cheese ratio and a great taste. The chicken parm hero totally exceeded expectations. Great taste, tender chicken, and a hero roll properly cooked. Nowadays it has become much harder to find a good chicken parm and this one was perfect. I definitely will be returning soon. Great job guys. read more

We have ordered from Alfie's 3 times in the last 3 months. Figure it is time for a review. I would probably give them 4.5 stars if Yelp would let me.We've had several different pies from them: Sicilian with sausage and pepper, Detroit, Chicken Vodka Square. The Sicilian pizzas (ordered 3x) always lack a little height and fluffiness on the dough. They are thicker than a traditional pizza but not as thick as other pizza places' Sicilian pizzas. The dough is also a little heavy but it is my husband's go-to-pizza. They do tend to go a little heavy on sauce even if you ask for light sauce. The Detroit pizzas (ordered 2x) are amazing. The dough is light, fluffy, and crispy and the combination of cheeses and sauce is fantastic. The Chicken Vodka Square pizza (ordered 1x) was also good. They went a bit light on the sauce on this one even though we didn't specify it, but overall the combination of flavors was good. We have also tried the chicken parm hero (ordered 1x), upgraded with vodka sauce and toasted garlic bread. That was amazing and would definitely order again. We have also had their garlic knots (ordered 2x) and garlic bread (ordered 1x)- both are traditional and what you'd expect. The online ordering platform is easy to use and allows you to customize the pizzas/heros in a way most online ordering does not allow. Delivery is always timely too! read more

We visited the Delfiore Italian Market to pick up a few items as we were in the area and usually go to the Patchogue store. We were given a coupon for a free sample slice from Alfie's. Initially we were not going to try it but we are very glad we did. It's the most delicious pizza we've had in a very long time. Excellent crust! Perfect ratio of cheese to sauce. We don't live in the area but we will be back whenever possible btw the sample slice is genius! read more
