One of my favorite spots on the East End of Long Island to grab a slice or two. There is a big selection of traditional and gourmet slices to get. The gourmet slices are massive and can definitely feed two. The garlic knots are also well cooked and not overly garlic. Staff is very nice and service is always great and quick. The place has a casual front and formal back if you want to dine in. Overall, this place is consistently good and I will continue to come. read more

We enjoyed a wonderful meal that included a seafood pasta that hubby enjoyed very much. It included a variety of seafood including mussels clams, shrimp and a lobster tail! One of the specials that were offered this evening was a pork chop Milanese with a wonderful salad on top. We finished our slices and then they called us for our penne pasta and when we look we asked for extra bread she looked at the bread cut it into 3 pieces and said it was the extra and I was baffled it was. 10" pasta plate with three tiny pieces of bread and I also asked for extra there was no extra I'm like the bread will be eaten in three bites it's only good for fast food but it were to order to go I don't recommend they'll just overcharge you and give you less then expected. UPDATE: I'm allergic to some meat products, so I ordered a spinach roll. I got home, took a bite and it's STUFFED with pepperoni! If I hadn't spit it out immediately, I could have gotten really sick. EVERY time I ordered takeout this year, it was TWICE as long as they told me on the phone. Usually because they completely forgot to cook part of my order. And the staff isn't never apologetic at all. My husband and son just finished having a nice dinner in the dining area of Michelangelo's in Mattituck. Our waitress was very sweet. As we were leaving we remembered to buy something for my mother. We ordered a white slice of pizza to go. A young tall girl (with pretty blue eyes) turned to her coworker in the front of the pizza oven and made fun of us. It was so obvious. I told her coworker I saw all that and her friend wasn't very nice. This ruined our evening. The food is good and the servers are super nice, however there is an extremely dishonest practice of showing a "cash discount" on the menu that is only advertised by size 6 font and not mentioned anywhere else. You think you're paying one thing then when you go to pay with CC end up paying another thing (which most customers don't notice due to the deceptive layout of the check). It's advertised as being "to keep prices competitive" but if that was really the case they would be clear about the credit card up charge. Let's call it what it is - a dirty business practice aimed at getting more money out of unsuspecting customers. I work in customer marketing and this type of practice is one of the most disrespectful ways you can treat your patrons. I won't eat here again and encourage others to speak out against dirty business practices like this. read more

This was the WORST dining experiences me and my wife ever had was at this dumphole of a place. There is absolutely nothing professional about this establishment because you will make a reservation for a large party, and then some snot-nose girl will tell you that your reservation was made for an hour later. The food was not relatively good what we tried, little over cooked but not the end of the world. When you sit down you will not be tended to you will not get your water refilled, your bread basket will not be even tended to, and expect eye rolls if you have the nerve to ask for anything as a customer. You will have to ask for everything drinks will come probably if you're lucky once every 40 minutes to an hour. The staff was rude, uncourteous and completely unprofessional. We had a large party, which as adults we made reservations almost a week before, and we had to leave because we were starving. After TWO HOURS (2 hours) of waiting for our entrees , we decided to leave and pay for our drinks and sun-par appetizers. The manager, or whatever Long Island tough guy was running the kitchen there (and trust me there are several) HAD THE NERVE to tell us "he was happy you F@@@S are leaving!" So after being more than patient with being ignored and not served TWO HOURS after we sat down, he were subjected to being disrespected and cursed at. We are a professional, people in our 40's and have traveled the world and have no business being referred to as "F@@@S". Please, please stay clear of this place. It ruined a perfect day for us and we wasted hours to not be fed, disrespected, and treated horrible. This was an overcooked, lumpy potato that was sticky, mushy, and bland. I had called explaining the issue and the woman had promised to return my phone call - however I had never received a response. She was arguing with my phone call desperately trying to justify why the gnocchi was on is oily overcooked. She then asked me to text her a photo of the dish! I come up to visit a family member in Mattituck once a quarter and they very much like going here. In fact they go frequently, order take out! We had even ordered pizza for the kids 2 days before. I have never been impressed -- huge portions of mediocre Americanized Italian. They like it so I go along. This evening was awful. Young waitstaff, barely to be found, drinks went unfilled, had to flag down another after she passed the 3rd time without checking on us. Wedge salad with what looked and tasted like a burnt pork chop thrown on top (bacon??). The kicker was the folks that like to come here ordered baked ziti it was a glob of over cooked pasta with sauce and charred cheese. As kind as the relatives were they did not send it back they told the waitress (who recognized them!!) that they did not enjoy it. Cleared 2 barely touched plates of Ziti. The check came, nothing comped.. I never expected the relatives to protest.... however I went to the manager and explained the situation... could they just go and say something along the lines of sorry you didn't enjoy it,, we hope you will come back... here a dessert.. The sauces tasted funny and several orders were screwed up so we asked for the manager 3 times but he was hiding up front near the pizza oven and would not speak with us when we tracked him, He said that he knew things were screwed up and if we didn't like it we didn't have to come back.
