While visiting Seattle I kept going back and forth on where to have my birthday dinner. I finally…read morechose That's Amore and it ended up being the best decision. We were a group of 5 and they accommodated us with no problem. Everyone was so welcoming. The place is cute and cozy and you can truly taste that everything is made from scratch. We ordered a variety of dishes and not a single one disappointed. Every plate was cleaned and our tastebuds were dancing. Since it was my birthday they brought out a slice of tiramisu. I usually do not even like tiramisu but theirs completely changed my mind. I shared it and everyone loved it. Honestly the best I have ever had. Beautiful views too. I will definitely be back the next time I visit Seattle.

I was quite taken by the restaurant. It even hosts a wonderful view of downtown Seattle and a peak of the Puget Sound. The restaurant is small and intimate. This Italian-style restaurant served one of the best meals I had at the time. So when the opportunity to return came, I wanted to run there from my home. We were immediately shown to our table, and drinks arrived with little effort. One thing to watch for is that they offer sparkling water or tap water. It is easy to think of it as an option, but the sparkling water is a few bucks by the bottle. With four people, it is easy to go through a few bottles quickly - this is my weakness since I have replaced soda with sparkling water. We began with cheesy flat bread and baked goat cheese. The cheesy flatbread was amazing and delicious, and the baked goat cheese was out of this world. I can honestly say that I did not know what to expect, but the baked goat cheese with Taro chips was delightful. What is a trip to an Italian restaurant without a Caesar salad? I added grilled shrimp that were just wonderful as well. This Caesar had a creamy dressing, croutons, and shredded parmesan. The dressing was not overwhelming, but the croutons were a bit hard and difficult to chew. I would give it a B-. I had the PENNE SPECIALI ( mesquite-grilled chicken, spinach, tomato, mushrooms, white wine butter sauce). The description of this dish was better than the flavor. Salt is a flavor enhancer, but when you add it to the dish after it's been cooked, it's like lukewarm coffee - it's okay, but you would have preferred it hot. For dessert, I had the caramel, chocolate custard with chocolate sticks. This was heavenly, and I would eat 100 more. This is a dessert worth the wait, and I do not advise you to share because you will get less. It was the perfect finish. One secret restaurateurs must know is that ambiance, setting, and conversation enhance the food experience, but if the food does not complement the other parts of the experience, something is lost. This place has everything: the view, service, and dining intimacy. Why leave the main dish out of the experience? I want to want to come back like I did the first time I fell in love with "That's Amore."

I liked their menu is pretty simple and that you can order at the kiosk on your own. If you are running short on time-order ahead the line is long and you will be waiting if you go in during peak hours (like lunchtime). While I loved my sandwich-the service is not great. They call the orders by your name and while they are really busy sometimes with the amount of people in the space and noise level you may miss your name being called. I thought I had heard my name so I went over to peek if it was my order and one of the individuals that was making the sandwiches nearly ripped my head off and YELLED at me and said "its not yours"...."you need to wait for your name to be called"....Well no kidding...I am not new here I was just checking-I did not touch the sandwich. Just plain rude...and I really do not think they care. If you are wiling to ignore getting yelled at and made to feel totally incompetent these are great sandwiches.

The line was long when we arrived, but it moved surprisingly fast, making the wait well worth it. Inside, there's a small café area where you can enjoy your food, along with a selection of their housemade cheeses available for purchase. One of the coolest features is the huge viewing windows that let you watch the cheesemakers at work, giving you a firsthand look at how their famous cheeses are made. We ordered the small Mariachi Mac & Cheese and the grilled cheese sandwich. The grilled cheese was outstanding--the bread was toasted to perfection with a crispy, golden crust, while the cheese inside was gooey, rich, lightly salted, and absolutely delicious. The Mariachi Mac & Cheese was equally impressive. It was creamy, flavorful and had a wonderful smoky spice that elevated the dish without overpowering it. Every bite was comforting and packed with flavor. If you're visiting Pike Place Market, Beecher's is a must-try. Freshly made cheese, delicious comfort food, and the opportunity to watch the cheesemaking process make it a memorable Seattle food experience.

You don't see prices like that anymore... And the lady was very nice. She stuffed the banh mi, asked if we want to cut it in half. The banh mi comes with pate as well as butter. Not many places does that. It was a good banh mi, especially for the price. Satisfied my cravings. I also got some wings to try and for 4 jumbo wings, you only pay $3.97! That is a deal. The size is perfect and the bread was toasted nicely. It had a good crunch on the outside. I'd say some of the meat was fatty but that fat was cut in bite sized cubes so I didn't mind it. Very filling and tasty flavor. Good filling to bread ratio in my opinion. The customer service was also amazing. Such kind ladies behind the counter and quick and easy service. I'd order here again.
