MEATBALLS prime brisket & milk fed veal with tomato brasato, shaved pecorino, crostini, three for $19. This was one of the best meatballs we have ever had. Meatball was dense yet airy if that makes sense. This is definitely a must. Rating: 5/5 Recommendation: ORDER ORDER CRISPY CALAMARI calabrese pepper tomato sauce & lemon sauce $25. Fried calamari was undercooked like not fried enough and the portion was extremely small. There was 7-10 fried calamari rings and the presentation was odd. The price did not justify the portion. Rating: 1/5 Recommendation: Do not order! CUCINA HOUSE tomato, cucumber, mixed greens, onions, fennel, avocado 19 | large for sharing $25. The salad was just okay. The different flavors combined didn't make sense. All veggies were fresh. I added a piece of my meatball and it was much better. Rating: 2/5 Recommendation: Do not order! RIGATONI ALLA VODKA tomato, onion, parmigiano $29. Pasta was perfection probably one of the best we have had Cucina takes al dente to a whole another level. The alla vodka sauce lacked prosciutto and $30 for pasta is just tacky. Rating: 4/5 Recommendation: Order AUSSIE WAGYU SHORT RIB fork tender, thirty six hour braised beef with black truffle pomme purée, exotic mushrooms & red wine sugo $55. These short ribs were to die for. The fresh parsley was very heavy. We picked off put to the side. The ribs melt in your mouth. Rating: 5/5 Recommendation: ORDER ORDER SALTIMBOCCA tender veal or chicken breast cutlets with prosciutto, organic spinach and taleggio cheese, white wine pan sauce, vegetables & pomme puree $39. This was sneaky good. The three of us ended up loving this dish the best. Under the veal was a nice surprise mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. The veal was so tender the sauce was so rich not heavy. Rating: 5/5 Recommendation: ORDER ORDER We had 2 desserts I can't recall what we ordered as I'm not big on dessert. The food overall did not disappoint all of the dinners were rich and bursting with unexpected flavors. Service was excellent. Waitress provided recommendations and brought all the dishes out very quickly. There was a woman lurking in the corner on a laptop she might have been an owner pretending to work. Employees seemed to be walking on eggshells- the vibe was strange. The restaurant turns into a club/lounge. The drinks were very good just expensive. Restaurant is very expensive especially the drinks $20-$50 each drink. When I visit agin, Meatballs would be the only appetizer we would order and all of the dinners. Instead of mixed drinks I would probably do a bottle of wine. Hopefully that woman won't be lurking/working in the corner. #cucina #palmbeacheats #palmbeachfoodie #cucinapalmbeach #floridaeats #floridafood #floridafoodie #ItalianFL #italianpalmbeach #impossibletraveler #southflorida #authenticitalian

Frito misto

This place is in the hustle and bustle of West Palm Beach and has a vibe of a late night beach party. The food was really good and hit the spot for a nice Italian restaurant. The only thing I'd do differently is not get seated by the specials and stuck with the "original" menu only because I'm having some fomo on not ordering the buratta ravioli! The frito misto was good with a light flavorful batter but I'll likely not get it again because the shrimps were hard to eat. The waitress warned us but I was thinking it would be larger shrimps not baby ones. The sorrentino was unique and good but had just a little too much truffle for my liking, I'd also would have loved to have had some kind of starch to go with it. The ragu bolognese was amazing, the pasta was fresh and the sauce was flavorful. It's what you want in a ragu bolognese.

The chicken parm, pizza and really everything on the menu are top tier delicious. Everyone needs to experience dinner then the club at Cucina. It will help you grow up in life. Wesley, Alex, and the whole staff do an amazing job.

Happy Hour

Cute hole in the wall in Palm Beach! The surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous, safe and luxurious. It's located right over the bridge in Palm Beach, with free 2 hour parking right across the street or free valet. Food wise, we went for happy hour and it's was very tasty! Everything on the happy hour menu is about $12-14 including drinks, so for a happy hour it is still a touch pricey. The arancini is a must order! It's absolutely delightful. Service wise, everyone was very nice and treated us with respect. Food and drinks came out within a reasonable time frame. I hear at night it turns into more of a "club" scene with a DJ. I will have to come back and expiernece it.

Went for my friend's bachelorette party and had such a fun time. Pizza and drinks were amazing...can't even tell you what exactly we ordered but it was good! Only down side was how loud it was in the restaurant, could barely have a conversation with the girls next to me. Honestly that was ok tho, we were high on good vibes and making sure our BRIDE was happy!

Service! Incredible! So grateful for creating a most memorable birthday for our dear friend. Margarita pizza. Delish. The crust was near perfection. The sauce; sweet & light. The tomato & basil brought the flavors together. I also tried the impossi-bowl which was also very tasty. It was like a deconstructed burger (salad). Desserts were incredible. The banana bread pudding & dark chocolate panned cotta; WOW. Absolutely enjoyed seeing the remodel too. It has been a while since I even stepped foot inside Cucina & I'm most glad we did. Thanh's for a phenomenal experience. We appreciate you.

CARMELLA DI PASTA

A long overdue review, but dined there on valentines this year 2024 and had such a pleasant and wonderful experience. The ambiance was quiet for a holiday and really made the setting feel more intimate. We were greeted by our server Daniel who took it upon himself to listen to our interests in cuisine and recommended some of the house speciality dishes that ended up blowing us away. This is our third time dining at Cucina Palm Beach and we always leave more than happy to return. We went ahead and ordered the Carmella di pasta appetizer as recommended by Daniel and it was amazing. The medley of sweet but savory flavors melts in your mouth along with the sheep's milk burrata that was stuffed into the pastas. It was warm, gooey, and delicious. Following up we shared the Sorrentino chicken dish for a meal. The portions are a good size and each meal packs a punch of flavors. Throughout our dining experience, Daniel checked in to make sure everything was going well and kept our alcoholic beverages and waters topped up. It was exceptional service anticipating our needs and maintaining that fine dining feel while keeping the mood light, comical and made to feel at home. We will certainly continue to return to Cucina and would look forward to dining again with Daniel as our server. It's quality employees that help make a great restaurant and memorable experience. Thank you Cucina Palm Beach, and Daniel, for the greatness you continue to serve to your guests.

Chicken sorrentino over pasta and short rib

LOVE this place - a definite Palm Beach favorite for us. Some places on the 'island' are overly bougee, slightly obnoxious, or unapproachable - but Cucina is fantastic in every way. The bartenders are not only great at their job/knowledgeable about the menu, but they're really nice, and caring. Their cocktail list kicks a$$, and the food we had on our last outing was excellent. Upon seating and ordering some cocktails, they gave us some warm, olive oil drizzled bread, which was amazing. For a starter, we split the burrata ravioli which was excellent - the cheese was really fresh and creamy, and the sauce was very flavorful. For a main, I had the Sorrentino chicken, which came breaded, with a lot of mushrooms, and cheese, and a slight truffle taste over pasta, as recommended by the waitress. My boyfriend had the Aussie Wagyu Short Rib, which he obsessed over. We were totally in a food coma after this meal. The bartenders came over to us multiple times asking how we liked everything. Last time we were here, we sat 5 feet away from Matt Ryan, and my gf sat drooling over him for almost 2 hours. LOL. It's definitely a fun spot. I heard it gets pretty crazy late night too!

Had a 6pm reservation for 6. We were 15 min late for reservation and they still had a table. Great place! This place had yummy food, chicken parm, fresh caught fish and chicken was delish. Desserts were small. For seating there is inside and outside, plus there is a whole back area for seating too. It starts to get dimly lit around 6:30pm with loud music, So it is hard for conversation but it's a hip place!

The wait was pretty long but the bar was first come first serve so we hoped to snag a spot there instead. The restaurant itself is tight. It's long but thin and the waiting area is like nonexistent so you're basically all huddling around people's tables. Luckily we were able to get drinks while we waited and the drinks were delicious. I ordered "The Crush" which had green grapes in it. It was so refreshing and delicious!! It's been a couple of weeks since we went and I'm still thinking about how good that drink was. I forgot what my bf got to drink but he enjoyed it as well. Finally some seats opened up at the bar and we were able to sit there and I'm so glad we did. Our bartender, I believe his name was Sam, was on point. Just exceptional service from him. He was great at his job and we also really enjoyed our conversation with him. To eat we ordered the deviled eggs, the tuna tartare and the Emerald Kale Salad with Rotisserie Chicken. The salad was just so incredible we ordered one to go as well. The food is absolutely worth coming back here for, the tuna tartare was also fantastic. The deviled eggs were okay, but I'm not a good judge for them as I'm not a huge deviled eggs person. Next time we're in the area I need to come back here. So good!!!

My favorite items were the chicken meatballs (perfect texture, with the right amount of spicy mustard) and the prime rib sandwich (the bread was soft, steak was juicy and tender, horseradish was creamy). ALL of our dishes, however, were soooo good, and I'd order any of them a second time! Small seating area inside (just a few tables and bar seats), and they don't accept reservations, so expect to wait a little bit. The inside is dark, with warm lighting and big leather booths; you don't feel like you're in south Florida anymore, it's a northern cozy vibe. Service was nice, but didn't check in often enough (often times having to flag someone down for utensils, plates, etc). I would definitely return here for dinner!!

It quickly became clear why the drinks receive high praise! They were indeed delightful and well crafted. However, my experience with the food left much to be desired. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, which were topped with a creamy sauce. Unfortunately, the dish did not meet expectations, falling short in flavor and presentation. I would rate them a mere two out of ten. Additionally, we tried the oysters, which were disappointingly bland. Even with various toppings, they lacked the fresh vibrant taste one hopes for when enjoying oysters. Regrettably, both dishes missed the mark for me so I decided not to order more food and go somewhere else. On a positive note, our server was exceptional friendly, attentive, and accommodating, which helped enhance our overall experience. The restaurant's ambiance was mature and inviting and its location is indeed impressive. Despite the high ratings and popularity, I found the food lacking, which makes me hesitant to return. After one meal here, it was easy to understand why it's considered one of the most sought-after restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is energetic and vibrant without feeling overly loud, and the service was polished, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the evening. The menu encourages sharing, which allowed us to sample a variety of dishes. We started with the lobster aquachile, which was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The lobster was tender, and the bright citrus flavors paired perfectly with the avocado and vegetables. It was a refreshing and memorable way to begin the meal. Next came the beef empanada and pork taco. The empanada was rich and flavorful with perfectly cooked beef and a crisp exterior, while the pork taco packed an impressive amount of flavor into a single bite. Both were excellent examples of why Buccan has developed such a strong reputation for its small plates. One of the highlights of the evening was the squid ink orecchiette. The pasta was perfectly cooked and coated in a rich, savory sauce that brought everything together. It was one of those dishes that makes you immediately start planning your next visit. For a larger plate, I ordered the prime beef burger, which was outstanding. The beef was juicy and flavorful, the toppings were balanced, and the fries were perfectly crisp. It may seem unusual to order a burger at one of Palm Beach's most acclaimed restaurants, but this one absolutely deserves the attention it receives. What impressed me most about Buccan was the consistency across every dish. Nothing felt like an afterthought. From the creative seafood dishes to the comfort-food favorites, every plate was executed with care and attention to detail. Palm Beach has no shortage of excellent dining options, but Buccan stands out as a restaurant that successfully combines creativity, quality ingredients, and flawless execution. If you're visiting the area, this is a reservation worth making well in advance. Recommended: Lobster Aquachile, Beef Empanada, Pork Taco, Squid Ink Orecchiette, Prime Beef Burger, and don't skip the fries. One of the best meals we had during our trip.
