    Fresh produce in their fridge
    Melissa K.

Stopped by to order a couple burritos and a quesadilla to go a couple days ago. Pros- friendly service, tasty food. There is a parking lot, but it's super small, so it was quite tight for my car (note: I do have a standard size SUV, so it's big!) Service was relatively fast, and from the vegetables in their fridge, you could see that they were using fresh ingredients, which is always a plus! Cons- the tortilla chips with salsa and guacamole were expensive! Small bags/containers, but charged around $5 dollars each. I'm ok with paying for guacamole, but I'm not a fan of Mexican spots that charge for chips and salsa. And feel that if they do, should be more generous in the size/portions that I'm paying for! My total order was just under $80 for 3 burritos, one quesadilla, guacamole and salsa...we should get chips automatically! Another thing that bothered me way more than the chips- the workers I could see all wore black gloves, but... they were also touching a lot of things - wiping down tables, picking up I believe their daughter, touching their face and head, taking care of the register, etc., without changing gloves. It did stand out, and not in a good way. It was something I wished I hadn't seen for sure. So while the burrito I had was tasty, I'm not sure I'd go back.

Cuco's is hands down one of my favorite spots to get a super burrito. It's always beautifully and neatly wrapped, full of flavor, and perfect ratio of ingredients. I've tried their tacos, breakfast burrito, and California burrito but the super burrito with carne asada is still my favorite. I've only gotten Cuco's doordashed but the orders are on point and accurate every time. Definitely will continue getting this!

This place is the place to go for burritos in Redwood City! I was driving by in the area and was craving burritos so I got a Ahogado De Carnitas and a California burrito and it was so delicious. I couldn't stop eating the California burrito. I really enjoyed the flavor and I didn't even need sauce for it! Also the chips and salsa here is a must, the salsa is so flavorful! Overall had a great experience getting the food, the staff here are so sweet and it's also good for dine in too!

The food had changed over the years, and the salsa portions they give you is super small, like to tiny 1 container; and even when you buy chips and salsa, then give you a very tiny amount of salsa; and to me, salsa makes or breaks the food and that breaks it. This has happened over the last few times we have taken the food to go. Given the cost, the taste, and the limited salsa despite paying for more, it's unfortunately not worth it for us anymore

Parking lot was a bit tight with only a few spot for 7-8 cars. Maneuvering outside of the parking lot can be a bit tricky. Outdoor seating is located in the back of the establishment. Yet the food is worth effort! Carne Asada was flavorable and filling. Honestly was only able to finish half the burrito. Can't wait to try more of the menu!

I love stopping by here for lunch break! The barbacoa is so tender - I've had their tacos, burritos, sopes, and quesadillas, all delicious! The women working here are awesome too, all super friendly.

O.M.G. THE MOLE SAUCE. IT IS SO GOOD! I don't even like mole sauce much, and the things I would do for this mole sauce... I don't know why they gatekeep the mole sauce to the vegetarian burrito, but I really wish they had it for the non-veggie burritos too! I basically forced my husband to get the veggie burrito with mole sauce I could "share" it with him. I got the carne asada burrito, and it certainly was no slouch. BUT WITH THE MOLE SAUCE?! It's sooooooo good! The ladies in the restaurant were all super friendly, and they gave us chips with salsa on the house. It looks like they do this for everyone, so no need to order chips with salsa. The small seating area was empty when we arrived, but it filled up fast! It was super busy by the time we finished eating, to the point that people were eating outside in the cold. If you're near Redwood City, you'll have to give this place a go with the mole sauce!

Loved these burritos! Got the aporreadillo which contained carne seca, Spanish rice, beans, and eggs. This was super flavorful! We also tried the Suiza de pollo burrito. The chicken was flavorful and it was nice it was topped with cheese and tomatoes. Loved the sauce it was drenched in. I ordered this to go. They have a unique variety of burritos!

Yum! Heard about this spot from a friend...it was delicious. We ordered super burrito and quesadillas. My kids ate everything. I really liked the complimentary salsa and chips and the burrito was delicious. I'll be going back for sure.

Camarones a la diabla burrito... Hands down the best burrito i have ever had.
    George R.

Friendly warm staff with the best burritos in the Bay area, yep I said it. Camarones a la diabla burrito is what I ordered just about every single time I drop in. I have also ordered their chicken burrito which is equally as amazing. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by the staff, you order your food pick a table and chips and salsa along with water is immediately placed on your table. Always a great ambiance and experience is positive and enjoyable. I 100% recommend to friends and family. Cheers!

Probably one of the best burritos I've ever had in my life. Strong opinion but this place is better than anywhere SF and the Mission. Got the A La Diabla De Cameron with refried beans added and ooooomg. The rice was perfectly cooked, shrimp was AMAAAAAZING and not rubbery at all, the sauce was sooooo delicious. This is my new go to spot here in the Bay Area. Honestly have never had a better burrito outside of my old spot in San Jose that closed down. 10/10 by far. The reviews don't lie. Service is amazing too and the ladies were super nice there. Inside of the place is very clean, great outside seating and perfect weather make this a go-to spot. Parking in the back as well but I parked on the Main Street. TRY THEM!!!! You will NOT regret it.

I usually order Pozole, but that dish is only during the winter time. So I ordered a cup of tortilla soup! The chicken was fresh and delicious, and the broth was so good I drank it all. The salsa trio is always my favorite appetizer because of the spicy mango salsa! I finish it every time. I also got the Plátanos cubanos, but I got the toppings on the side so I could enjoy their plantains by themselves. As an appetizer, snack, meal, or dessert, plantains are the best. I ordered a side of rice with my steak tacos too, and I have to say this rice is the most similar to the type my mom makes at home. Not too tomatoey, but perfectly moist and tasty. I opted out of getting a cocktail today, so I got a mocktail. I was craving agua de jamaica, which they didn't directly have, but this "zero proof" cocktail hit the spot ;) As for the steak tacos, the steak was a little too chewy for my liking, but that's because I usually get my steak well done (I know, don't judge). Thank you Milagros for always being the best spot for a comforting meal!

The biggest disappointment however was when I looked at my receipt. In addition to taxes and tipping, I was another charged 3.5% for "state mandate." I inquired and was told that since the restaurant has to provide medical insurance, their employees they charge customers for that now. It's just so shady that this is not disclosed ahead of time or at least no obvious and it's only if you look at your receipt, do you see you're being charged this additional fee. Word for the wise it is optional despite the mandatory language on the receipt, so I encourage everyone to refuse to pay. You are not the one employing the employees, the employer is.

The booths are a bit cramped with no space at all between yourself and the table but comfortable enough otherwise. There is a self service salsa bar in the corner - we really liked the creamy green salsa. Had just a slight kick but my 3 and 5 year old both loved it. I got a taco salad which is served in a taco bowl with all the ingredients of a super burrito, minus rice and cheese. It was very good, but the bottom of the shell gets really soggy so you can really just eat the top of the shell where it's still crispy. The rest of the family got super burritos and were very happy - the meat was crispy in some parts and moist/soft in other parts and the ratio of the other ingredients were perfect to complement the protein. Everyone left full and happy. Don't forget to get a sweet, cool, refreshing horchata drink to help wash down your meal!

I'm an al pastor burrito guy and this one was way too heavy on the spice/seasoning and kinda overpowered everything. Also there was barely any trace of tater tots which I was really looking forward to. My daughters ate the asada and said it was just ok. One thing is that the burritos are smaller than your super at El Farolito but they do pack it in there and it's pretty filling! The birria was actually pretty good and they gave a couple different sauces and cabbage and I would recommend it. I was also looking forward to eating the churro donuts on the drive back home because I thought they would be hot n good but that wasn't the case. They musta pulled them out from under a warming lamp because they were barely lukewarm to cold so that was a fail. Overall, it's not bad, but definitely pricier than most of the other popular Mex spots and now that I think about it, I probably won't go back because of it. There's plenty good Mex around for a lot less $$. I coulda gotten 3 super burritos from Farolito for $35 vs ~$75 that I paid at Suavecito.
