Mexican mocha was delicious, can taste the chocolate abuelita but also the hint of coffee. Chai was good too, not watered down. Nutella shake not overly Nutella nor sweet. Everything was exceptional. Huevos rancheros even came w avocado. Chorizo was not overly salted. Potatoes w crispy. The French toast was perfect (imo) they weren't soggy, the edges were crispy. Not the shred the inside of your mouth type crispy but buttery edges crispy. The waffle was delicious. No photo but it's a little bigger than the size of a desert plate. Not a thick waffle, if you're a fan, but still good. Everything was portioned perfectly, not large quantities but definitely not small. Would def recommend. Came here for breakfast and had a great experience. It's a nice open-concept restaurant, and as soon as I walked in, the staff greeted me warmly and got me seated right away. I was dining solo, and service was quick drinks and food came out fast. They have an outdoor patio option, which looked really inviting, but I chose to sit inside even though it was a gorgeous day. The food was delicious, portions were good, and the staff stayed attentive throughout. The restaurant has one shared male/female restroom, which was clean and convenient. 6/28/24 Zach and I had just finished signing the marriage license papers at the San Mateo court house and decided to stop by for breakfast at My Breakfast House. We found parking right across the street. When we got there, we were greeted with a welcoming and hearty "Gooood morning"; there was no wait so we got to sit immediately. The menus are already set on the table which was nice. They also have covered patio outdoor seating so we can definitely come back here for breakfast with Coco. Came here this morning right before 9am, to have breakfast with my friend. I got the normal omelette, it's bacon, mushrooms, ( I had them substitute the tomatoes for spinach) spinach, and American cheese. It was cooked perfectly, with amazing flavors. Oof. Big jump in menu prices. Omelettes used to be around $17.99 to $18.99 but we went last week and they are all up like $2-3 with most over $20. My husband commented that it seemed like a big jump. Add in coffee tax and tip and breakfast for two was over $60. It just feels like a tipping point for me. Good place good food but - not that great. We used to go almost weekly and hadn't been in a couple of months so I'm not sure when that happened. We found this hidden gem close to our neighborhood. This is run by a local people and they run it with a lot of love and care. The moment we entered, there is very beautiful set of people sitting there enjoying a meal, and you can say that they are locals, and they loved to visit this place. There is not a lot of complexity in the menu. You can expect a basic American breakfast with a bunch of omelettes eggs, sausage, blah, blah, blah blah, but I'll tell you what's different about this place They greet you with smile. I ordered coffee and linguica omelet. Coffee was strong and the omelette was well made. There was not enough filling in my omelette though. They offered hash brown or potatoes, I opted potatoes which was very standard. I noticed that prices are reasonable. The dining room was clean and well kept. Parking is in the street and finding parking spot can get tricky from time to time. I ordered coffee and our delicious french toast and egg combo. It comes with 2 eggs, which you can choose the style, 2 strips of bacon, a choice of country potatoes, or hashbrown. The toast looks like coated with egg and sprinkled with powder sugar. The order comes pretty quickly. The sunny side up is good. The bacon is crunchy and not too salty. The country potatoes are a bit hard. I asked if it could be crunchy, and our server said yeah what ever you like. I think it could be a bit softer. The breakfast was good but not special. It is a normal breakfast dish. There are plenty of choices in the menu, which is waffle, either golden waffle or bacon waffle. They also served lunch dishes. read more

She let us choose where to sit, and we chose to sit outside. The weather was incredible. Our server came to take our orders and listened patiently with a smile to all our requests. The food arrived promptly, and it was delicious. All ingredients were fresh and well-seasoned. Our favorite was the Raisin Bread French Toast. It was fluffy and warm, and it melted in our mouths. The restaurant was clean, its colors made me feel at ease. They were moderately busy, and most of the customers were regular customers. I could hear their conversations with the servers and some said "You know what I like already, so I'll order that again." I had some time to kill before a few appointments I had in San Carlos so I decided to grab some breakfast. The Yelp app led me here and I am glad it did!!! I came very early morning on a weekday, so street parking was ample. At first, I thought this place was closed because driving by it is blocked by their outdoor seating area and it isn't very well lit so it looked dark. I was greeted by the waitstaff and immediately seated. After reviewing the menu I asked them if the corned beef hash was made in-house (because many restaurants serve it out of a can - yuck). She advised they make it in-house, yeah!!! I also asked them if the OJ was freshly squeezed, and they advised no, and I appreciated the honesty!!! In addition, I also ordered a bowl of fruit and told them I had a preference for less melon. The corned beef hash was so good!!! All the ingredients were fresh, except I think the hashbrowns were previously cooked because they didn't taste as fresh. They brought me a good size portion of fruit and as requested with less melon. Went to breakfast after work and found this little restaurant via Yelp. I am glad we went because the food was really good. The restaurant is a good size with outdoor tented seating. The people were very nice and accommodating. We were seated right away since we went in early about 8am. They have a great selection for food at reasonable prices for the taste and amount you get. Here is what we had: Chicken fried steak: crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside, with an amazing gravy. I rarely eat this because others I have had were too salty, but this was YUMMY! Crab Benedict: super yummy, not fishy tasting with another awesome hollandaise sauce. My friend and I split our meals and we're totally satisfied with everything. For sure this is a great place to grab breakfast. To food is really good, the Service is above & beyond. Ambiance is great. This owner loves to cook, he is not that guy that hates going to work. Very friendly and fast service. However, it is unbelievable that the taste is very average even for a basic side of hashbrowns. The potatoes were not well cooked, omlette was oily, one of the egg benedicts was punched and it was all over the plate. Side fruits we got had hair/fur looking things on them and the way that they received this feedback was awkward. It started with I don't see anything and later on that's okay let's take it in. I am not sure if they changed it altogether or not. Their attitude after this incident was less friendly. read more

Ordered the sausage eggs Benedict with country potatoes and while the eggs Benedict was great, the country potatoes fell a little flat for me. My boyfriend got the country fried steak and I thought that was actually pretty delicious. However, I felt that they definitely could've seasoned the hash browns. I get that they probably left it plain though so that the patron could season to their liking, but for takeout, we didn't have any seasonings on us to flavor it... :( Enjoyed the brunch food overall though. read more
