My Breakfast House is my go-to place for a hearty breakfast in San Carlos. Food and service does not disappoint. We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in. Servers were friendly and frequently checked to ensure coffee is refilled and if things were ok. We had the Huevos Ranchero, Chicken Fried Steak, Quique Omelette, Bacon and Eggs, and a Banana and Walnut Pancake. Everything was good specially my favorite, the Huevos Ranchero, which was very tasty.

My friend is a regular here and loves this spot. I'm glad we stopped in for a delicious breakfast. I enjoyed everything I had. Service was quick and food came out quick even on a busy Saturday breakfast rush. Ambiance is a breakfast diner place. Clean and open space. All fine. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is the price points are steep. For the 2 of us the bill came to $55 and then I tipped, for total of $64. For breakfast food. You might say but how is that possible, my friend didn't even get a beverage- just an omelet and water. The single order of 1 pancake I got was 5.99....yes I'll say that again 5.99. I really shouldn't have ordered it. Terrible deal. It's a freakin pancake. Standard, no fillings and no toppings... Six bucks. If the prices were reasonable then 5 stars all the way, but my breakfast ended up costing the same amount as my dinner at decent sushi restaurant this evening. Breakfast shouldn't cost that much, it's not complicated or expensive items (except the eggs). Anyway, good spot but I wouldn't be able to afford being a regular here.

Came here for breakfast and had a great experience. It's a nice open-concept restaurant, and as soon as I walked in, the staff greeted me warmly and got me seated right away. I was dining solo, and service was quick drinks and food came out fast. They have an outdoor patio option, which looked really inviting, but I chose to sit inside even though it was a gorgeous day. The food was delicious, portions were good, and the staff stayed attentive throughout. The restaurant has one shared male/female restroom, which was clean and convenient. Overall, everything from the service to the food made for a really positive experience. I'm in this area often, and I'll definitely be stopping by again.

6/28/24 Zach and I had just finished signing the marriage license papers at the San Mateo court house and decided to stop by for breakfast at My Breakfast House. We found parking right across the street. When we got there, we were greeted with a welcoming and hearty "Gooood morning"; there was no wait so we got to sit immediately. The menus are already set on the table which was nice. They also have covered patio outdoor seating so we can definitely come back here for breakfast with Coco. Here's what we got: - Quique omelet (his) - Breakfast burrito (mine) The food came out in 10 minutes. The burrito is a good size and they stuffed it with egg, chorizo, cilantro, and hash browns. It tasted delicious! Zach said he omelet was yummy too. Service was wonderful, the staff are friendly and the food was delicious. My Breakfast House is definitely a hidden gem that we will revisit.

I forgot how delicious the breakfast was here. They have all kinds of omelettes and basic lunch items also. My breakfast House is like a local diner. The food is solid basic American fare. The service is excellent and friendly. Food also comes out fast. If you want a quick delicious breakfast, this is the perfect place. The eggs dishes and corned beef hash do not disappoint. There is nothing fancy here like fresh squeezed juices or artisan style dishes. Sometimes simple is what I crave. I love having My Breakfast House in the neighborhood!

Came here this morning right before 9am, to have breakfast with my friend. I got the normal omelette, it's bacon, mushrooms, ( I had them substitute the tomatoes for spinach) spinach, and American cheese. It was cooked perfectly, with amazing flavors. I had it with country potatoes. The potatoes could have been better, they were a little bland. The place is small and cozy, but they also had outdoor sitting. It wasn't too busy, so we had pretty good service

Yummy omelet and quick outdoor service. Coffee seemed not so fresh. Enjoyed it. Prices a bit high but where isn't?

It was a nice day so we sat outside. The service was great and attentive. I ordered the crab benny and it was not a frozen battered crab cake, it was perfectly delicious. My partner got a waffle that was pretty good with eggs and sausage. Good portions and coffee was delicious

We found this hidden gem close to our neighborhood. This is run by a local people and they run it with a lot of love and care. The moment we entered, there is very beautiful set of people sitting there enjoying a meal, and you can say that they are locals, and they loved to visit this place. There is not a lot of complexity in the menu. You can expect a basic American breakfast with a bunch of omelettes eggs, sausage, blah, blah, blah blah, but I'll tell you what's different about this place They greet you with smile. They'll help you get seated soon the service was amazing. The food came fast. We felt like we were taken care of really well. We were sitting outside that made us enjoy a nice sunlight, and it was very neat and clean. We are visiting this place for sure again.

Very friendly staff with homey atmosphere. They have huge menu with all variety of omelets and egg breakfast dishes that a diner can imagine. This was my first visit. I ordered coffee and linguica omelet. Coffee was strong and the omelette was well made. There was not enough filling in my omelette though. They offered hash brown or potatoes, I opted potatoes which was very standard. I noticed that prices are reasonable. The dining room was clean and well kept. Parking is in the street and finding parking spot can get tricky from time to time. All and all, dining at Breakfast House was a positive experience and I will go back again whenever I am a in town.

Another great breakfast here... they have great omelets and Benedict's. Pancakes and more. You can choose from several sides besides potatoes- they have cottage cheese and fresh fruit. Coffee is good and often refilled. Service is attentive and if there is a line it usually takes only 10 minutes.... But can become 20 minutes when a big group comes in. Be patient! This is a family-friendly place, kids are welcome. Indoor and outdoor seating (patio area on the street in front) .

I was looking for a good breakfast spot around, and this hit the spot. I appreciated that they are open early. It's very hard to find in the area, especially on a weekend. The place was nicely decorated, and upon entering, you're greeted right away. I placed my order, and it was ready in minutes. It was slowly getting busy, you can tell that were ready for the rush to come. The food was amazing. I ordered for to-go, but the containers didn't travel too well. The things we do for the environment. The cardboard literally fell apart. 1. Heart Attack omelette- Flavorul, and it was a good size. I wish I had hot sauce or something to go with it. 2. French toast combo - The french toast was soft and fluffy. Not too eggy with a slight sweetness. It was perfection. I didn't need syrup. The house potatoes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The bacon was crispy, and made the combo complete. 3. Corn beef hash - I loved the chunks of corn beef. It was fresh and tasted amazingly with the peppers. I can't wait to come back here and try their other items

One of my visits included the chilaquiles with steak. While I thought the $9 upcharge for the steak was a bit high considering the amount provided, the dish itself was flavorful, saucy, and well-balanced. Most recently, I ordered the omelette with chicken. I appreciated that it came with a generous amount of grilled chicken, along with potatoes and two slices of toast. The portion size felt fair for the price, and I had no complaints about the meal. The restaurant operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and it can get quite busy, especially during peak brunch hours. I'm fairly certain it's family-owned, and I think they're doing a great job overall. The one area that could use some improvement is service. On two separate visits, we asked for water shortly after being seated and had to ask again after our food arrived because it had been forgotten. I understand that the staff may be stretched thin when it's busy, but it can also be difficult to flag someone down when you need assistance. That said, these service issues haven't taken away from the quality of the food. Overall, I think Eskina is a great brunch spot with plenty of options to choose from. Lastly, I have a soft spot for restaurants on middle field in lil mex as I grew up in the area! I'm hoping they do well

The unfortunate thing was that service was a miss. Service was extremely minimal and when I was still trying to finish my drink, the server just came and shoved the bill at me. We were there for less than an hour, so I'm not sure what the rush was about. What they also don't advertise is that they tack on a fee if you pay by credit card, and this wasn't listed on the menu. It only says so on the receipt after you pay that you "save" by paying in cash. For drinks, we tried the Guava Mimosa and Tropical Sunrise mocktail. The mimosa was pretty strong with the alcohol, which could be good if you're into that. The mocktail was quite refreshing with a bit of tanginess that helped with the heaviness of the food. For food, I tried the Corned Beef Hash con Huevos and the Taco Trio with Carnitas. I wish that they allow you to have a mix of fish and carnitas for the trio, but they make you pick only one choice. The carnitas were a good choice though. The hash was good, but definitely a bit on the heavy side. Overall, food was alright but I felt so rushed and pressured to pay the bill with the server quickly, and just felt that overall the service ruined the experience.

Out of the pancake trio, the s'mores pancake was definitely the tastiest compared to the banana apricot and blueberry cream French toast. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the biscuits and gravy. The first order came out with two burnt, hard biscuits, which we sent back. The staff was super apologetic and replaced them, but even the new order still wasn't very good. The drinks and food did take a little while to come out, but honestly it wasn't a huge issue since everyone was so friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Would deff come again!

This place is awesome! There's a beautiful outdoor area in the back with tons of tables. Even though it was super busy, we still had our choice of a few tables, and the foliage/patio umbrellas make it nice and shady. Our food was also delicious! We got: Prosciutto and egg sandwich - eggs were super light and fluffy, and the sandwich was well balanced and cheesy too! Fat and fluffy French toast - such a generous portion and the berries and whipped cream were so yummy! The toast itself had crispy edges and was super fluffy! They have such a large menu too and I'll definitely be back to try more!

Mid week brunch meant a quieter atmosphere and open seating. After perusing the menu we ordered at the counter before sitting at a table after picking up utensils and water. We ordered Fambrini's Breakfast, Brie & Mushroom Omelette, Crab Omelette, and shares the Lotus Biscoff Pancakes. Everyone loved their egg platters. The eggs were perfectly light and fluffy. I generally avoid omelettes getting scrambles instead because restaurants tend to overcook the eggs. Our dishes were prepared with quality and flavor in mind. I personally had the crab omelette and left no crumbs behind. The potatoes were well seasoned and wish I had enough room in my tummy to finish them off! The drip coffee was bold and delicious not watered down at all! Finally, we shared the 2 stack biscoff pancakes for a sweet finish. The pancakes were bouncy with biscoff sauce and a mound of whipped cream. This was mouth wateringly delicious. I don't have much of a sweet tooth but this was so yummy. This isn't a traditional sit down service but counter staff were friendly and efficient. There is a small parking lot off to the side and there is indoor and patio seating. Come by for a meal and you won't be disappointed! I wish I lived closer so I could taste the rest of their meal. Kudos and thanks for an awesome meal!
