This is a fun little restaurant off El Camino in Redwood City. Their speciality is elote! There is actually a surprising amount of items on the menu that aren't just straight up corn. We saw cake, tacos, birria, etc. When we went on a Sunday afternoon it was actually very full and people took all the tables inside! I was surprised. We tried the elote cake and I felt like it tasted like a nice sweet piece of cornbread. Emphasize sweet. They also had a condensed milk topping which was cool and fun to drizzle on the cake. Love the touch to add toppings - a variety of peanuts and crushed chips. I went with the Doritos on top of my bowl with the added carne asada. Lowkey kind of pricey but everything was delicious so i have no complaints, also the decor of the area was cute and they had nice outdoor seating! Parking lot is small tho FYI, but there's street parking available as well. I'd prob get the taquitos again! Cant remember the exact filling liked the most tho, so just pick ur fav meat or filling! We've been eyeing this place and finally tried it today. After reading one of the reviews we were worried about time since we had school pick up approaching. But they were super quick, no problems there. We tried the elote ribs - SPICY FANTASTIC! and the asado elote which comes with cheese and lime. Just perfect!! I waited months for this place to open, but the high prices for the small portions? I refuse to give them a second try. The cup of corn (same size average cup of frozen yogurt) was $10.99. Corn first and top with your choice , I got crema, sprinkled cotija? and some green sauce. Flavor was good, but not $10.99 good. Next I tried corn uchepo for $7.25, The picture shows two pieces I only got one. It's the size of a Twinkie and it's pretty sweet & tasty but for $7.25 for one piece is an insult. Last I ordered corn mandaranna? for 10.99 it's essentially a whole ear of corn cut in four small pieces, topped with crema, sprinkle cotija?cheese and hot sauce, which is also an insult for the portion. This place has pretty much priced out all of the high school across the street. No kid is gonna want to come here to buy anything if they're gonna charge $10.99 for a cup of corn or $9.99 for an ear of corn. They really need to reconsider the prices for their menu items and they might as well turn the place into a Taqueria and sells tacos and burritos. I can't imagine them being open for more than 9 months to a year. read more

For starters, everyone inside is incredibly nice and welcoming! It was our first time visiting, so they took their time to explain the menu and topping options. We tried their coffee, which was absolutely delicious. For food we ordered the elote cup, ramen elote cup, elote ribs, and the elote cheesecake - all of the items were fresh, delicious, and had the perfect amount of toppings. We also ordered a plain cup of corn for our baby, which was also really good. Everything is really clean, bright, welcoming, and it has a wonderful ambiance. I drive by El Camino all the time and this place just stood out and wanted to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised when most of their menu was corn themed food, a great twist to the usual Mexican restaurant. Everyone was so nice and made sure to engage with the customers asking questions to make sure their order was made right. The restaurant is nice and cozy with indoor and out door seating. I was only confused when choosing my toppings, no need to tell the cashier choose your toppings by talking to the employees next to them.
