This place has kind of ruined me for sandwiches. I know I should try some of the other sandwiches they have, but I am stuck on this one. Parking is kind of tricky, but I am able to go on off hours so no biggie. Cocktails too!

This particular spot is a deli sandwich place; they do have some standout choices, but I was craving tuna, so I ordered their Pacific Blue (Tuna Melt). Loved that they toasted the buns; it was good but didn't wow me. They skimped on the cheese and didn't add the jalapeños I requested. Service was incredibly slow, but there was a huge rush-hour crowd, so I'll overlook it. All in all, the theme is cool. Loved that they had vendors and music available the day we went; it gave us an opportunity to have something to do while we waited. I did spot board games, but naturally didn't think we'd need them. The goo ball was overly buttery and definitely had peanut butter. It was good for the first couple of bites but I quickly tossed it afterward once it became too much. If a deli is your thing, give it a try. I'm sure on any other given day they'd be better at delivering a sandwich with everything.

Everything is super fresh and well presented. It's loud and can get crowded for inside seating but I enjoy that vibe on a weekend morning. Based on some reviews, I heard the line to order can get pretty long and I'm glad I did, because the place was packed. My order was ready at the pickup time and was well packed. There is some searing inside, but you would need to get there early to grab a table. My sister and decided to split 2 wraps so we could try more items from the menu. We ordered the mexcrunch wrap and the buffalo chicken wrap. I like how the salads can be made into wraps, which provides more options. I think we both preferred the mexcrunch, simply due to the crunchy texture. I think both wraps would have been better if we could've had the sauce on the side, because the wraps got soggy pretty quickly. The side pasta salad was surprisingly really good, and I see why they serve it. Overall, I'd definitely go back here for a healthy lunch option.

The space is quite spartan - a super long bakery case, a few employees helping folks in line, and some very bare bones tables and cafe chairs. There's a painted mural and some spare (broken?) shelving in an unlit seating area. Most people appeared to be getting their orders to go. Of course, I tried the Black Forest Cake - it was an unpleasant surprise for me. It's crunchy!!! I'm told it's their own classic recipe and it's what they're known for. It was very sweet and clearly the baker who made it was very skilled. I would not even call it cake though... it wasn't moist, chewy or chocolate-y. It had a light, sweet, melt-on-the-tongue crispy airiness. I'll have to try something different the next time I'm in - and I'll be sure to ask the staff for recommendations, so I'm not taken unawares again.
