The chicharron is just the skin and its smashed up into the salsa and pico de gallo that come with the tacos. Not much going on here and nothing great. Pork tamale was average. The size is on the smaller side or almost average. Carne to masa ratio is good. Masa taste is great. The meat and sauce is umami and deep but still your average flavors for red pork tamales.

When I called and ordered my food for pick up I had issues with the person taking my order on the phone It was almost impossible to communicate with her, I don't speak Spanish and she did not speak English! When I got to the restaurant I checked my order/food and it was incorrect and food was not packed correctly it spilled all over I tried to speak to a female and a male whom appeared to be upper management and let them know of my issue starting with the phone order but, was unable because I don't speak Spanish While waiting for them to fix my order I realized that they have inside dining and also while waiting a couple came in and they were greeted by the staff and sat them on a table inside the restaurant (What happened to current COVID-19 guidelines?) Place looks Beautiful and clean BUT, STAFF IS INCOMPETENT Both, female and male were nice and even offered a discount on my order however I refused and will not be returning nor do I recommend this place at all. read more

In all honesty this restaurant deserves ZERO stars We were there last night and the service was TERRIBLE 1 hour to get our food, 20 minutes to get napkins, 30 mins to get 2 fountain drinks??? We heard the other tables complain about the servers being so rude! I guarantee you get way better service at In & Out and McDonalds I got up to use the restroom and heard 2 servers gossiping about their manager while us customers were waiting for service SERIOUSLY! Where do you do your hiring?? Stay away from this DANGEROUS place! Unless you are ready to witness a possible fights. The co-owner (Daniel) very far from calming a fight he, instead pulls out his illegally hand gun and tells one of the workers to use it, clearly because he must be prohibited from using it himself. There is drug consumed in the bathroom and some surroundings of the restaurant which owners are fully 100% aware and okay with that type of activity due to that, This establishment has the worst employees, and of course that includes "Management " if you can call them that..They have absolutely no knowledge of how to run a business, not to mention they don't even speak English.. read more

This place is disappointing! For the 2nd time they had my order wrong! And I had to wait over 45 minutes inside while they were preparing it again (By the way! This Culichi Town restaurant in Sylmar California on Foothill Boulevard does not care about their neighbors. They have had live music blasting until after midnight every night this week. It is Monday night now and people in this neighborhood have to get up early and go to work tomorrow. The restaurant was asked nicely to turn it down and said, "No, we have a permit".
