This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants serving great food with awesome service and always having awesome bands on site. There were times when they even had all girl mariachi groups. If you been here plenty in the past, you might remember seeing me too, the only Asian singing along some songs! :) Anyway, this place is a great place to enjoy a festive night. Visited this weekend and the servers are the worst, never got chips and salsa had to ask for them, had to flag them for refills.

Got hungry and decided to swing by La Sirenita. Most of the booths were occupied so we sat at a table in the middle of the restaurant. The drinks were good and the chips and salsa were fresh. The rice served with my meal tasted old (like when you leave rice sit a while and it gets hard and crunchy on top). The beef in my taco tasted unusually gamey ( not sure what cut of "beef" it was) so I opted not to eat it. Not a bad experience by any means; we'll be back! read more

I went to eat some seafood with my husband as we were driving home Our stomach was hurting my husband having diarrhea, then I started throwing up the following day I had diarrhea. Please be careful where you eat seafood we didn't like it, but we ate it and look what happened to us and their customer service was terrible such a bad experience we will definitely report this to the food and health department. This is very dangerous for somebody. That's in bad health would probably have to get admitted to the emergency. I really enjoyed La Sirenita. The visuals were beautiful and the underwater scenes looked really cool. The songs were catchy, especially the new ones, and the actress who played Ariel did a great job--she has an amazing voice. Some parts felt a bit long, and a couple of the characters didn't have the same charm as the animated version, but overall it was a fun and magical movie that brought back a lot of nostalgia. read more

Went to have dinner Tuesday since I was craving a fish ceviche tostada. The service was great. The lady who serve us was awesome. Very attentive and friendly. She immediately brought chips and salsa and even refilled our basket with chips, took our drink order, and gave us time to decide on what to order. I ordered shrimp enchiladas and a fish ceviche tostada. My wife ordered cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. The service itself was 5 stars. But the food is a whole another story. The fish on the ceviche tostada was awful to say the least. I'm not one to throw food away at all. I always eat up to the last crumb and/or end up taking it home. But this specific food choice is a big NO. I actually left the entire ceviche and tostada there. I couldn't even take it home. I don't know if the fish was old, or it's frozen fish that they use. But it was mushy, no taste/flavor, bland, all around bad. Not even with lime and tapatio did it taste good. It didn't even look like fish. I ate my enchiladas instead. Which btw were stuffed with small/tiny shrimp. Not sure if they also used frozen shrimp as well but it almost looked like the small shrimp on a cup of noodles cup. (That was surprising too, since I've had shrimp enchiladas from other places and they use decent size shrimp). Between the enchiladas, the rice and the beans, it was ok. However, the ceviche was not. I have no doubt that my indigestion that lasted several days was caused by the fish ceviche that I ate prior to realizing that something was off. I will try to upload photos later of the food items. What was more of a shocker to me, was the price for a fish ceviche tostada. 8.95, and for it to simply go to waste. I didn't want to give our server a hard time so I did not say anything. It was late at night 7-8pm or so, she was the only one there attending other tables as well and didn't want to cause anything. read more

Want to order aguachiles? Order them to go. This is my second time trying to dine in the restaurant. This is my second time receiving grey raw shrimp. Both times I had to ask for a to-go container because the shrimp needed to be in the juice for much longer. They served them to me grey and raw, it's an obvious observation for when they're ready to be served. I rather wait longer for my food then to get it served quick but raw. read more

We had a good time, but not a long time. It was a great family outing for our first visit. Although I thought the Camarones portion would be bigger (I asked for the large), we did enjoy the rest of our meal. The kids meal size was actually bigger than what I ordered lol. The drinks were definitely fire. Plenty of parking, and a Vallarta conveniently located next door (in case you forgot to bring home a gallon of milk on your binge drinking pit stop). All in all. Great experience PS- we did leave right before a fight broke out on our visit. Kinda wished we stayed to see the outcome but the staff seemed to have it handled. Hope all is well! read more

Came here for a late lunch, early dinner. The place was getting packed as we arrived. Service was ok and the food was a hit or miss. They have a huge menu so it was kind of overwhelming. We ordered a few things, oysters (grilled with shrimps), Carne Adada plate, fajita mixta and of course, a michelada. The grilled oysters were my favorite. I was actually surprised and excited to see this on the menu. Grilled oysters is how we cook ours at home. Whats more surprising is that they have a tasty garlic sauce added on the oysters. I wanted more! The Carne Asada plate was pretty tasty but I was dissapointed with the fajita mixta. It was so bland, I dont think anything was added for flavor. I believe they have a live band on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. We missed them as we were driving up. If you want to hear live music, I recommend calling to confirm what time they perform. read more

I use to like this place before the whole Covid-19 happened. So I decided to help out and order from here, while dining in is closed. Unfortunately they don't appreciate that help! They up the prices they even charge you for chips when they are free when you dine in!! It all went bad! Every other business shows appreciation by giving you extra stuff or extra food.
