A culichi who loves supporting culichis !!! But this place is zero stars at best 1 star . Okay 2 the Jamaica was good . The waitress hates being here didn't greet us , and service was not the best .Not even the basic greeting we had to say it to them to make it less awkward . Menus are barely readable . Mariscos are good, but they are pricy . You can definitely get something better for cheaper . As a fellow culichi it saddens me that this place has gone down hill . I miss their old menu ..I miss the old service .

Finally went to the Culichi Town in LA and the vibes were different from the one in Camarillo. Music and entertainment were super lively, giving that energetic feeling in the environment! The food was delicious although it took a good minute to be served at my table. Despite the slow-ish service...I can't complain much! It does get busy on weekends!

How's the skin every other place we had it doesn't have the skin

You want the most dry up ala roca camarones look no further than this place all the food was taste less dry I've gone to the one in Ontario and the other location honestly I love this restaurant, but going to this specific location was traumatizing I will not be returning all the food was dry. I can't stress that enough. Please save your money and don't go to this location. Try one of the other two locations or three the extra minutes the extra drive is totally worth it just to avoid this location. The service was awful. The ambience was awful.

I really liked this place! The sfood was delicious, the chips were crunchy and the salsa was really good. The service was super friendly and welcoming. Inside is very nicely decorated and clean. There's Lots of parking and shops to visit. Highly recommend!

The food here was alright. The service was slow considering it was pretty dead during my visit. Don't get me wrong though, they wait staff were really cool though. I guess it's more popular for its ambiance and drinks during the weekends or when they have live bands playing. I'll probably give it another shot during that time for my next visit.

Por favor , lower the volume on the music! I appreciate live banda music and all the Peso Pluma covers were great , but can you please LOWER the speaker volumes to a comfortable level. You literally have to yell your order at the waitress , or just point to the menu cuz the music is so loud. Maybe later at night the volume could rise , but it's only 1:26 PM and our ears were bleeding. Impossible to have conversation with anyone at your table unless you know sign language. Bring ear plugs.

Receipt with the tip percentage extremely off, so that the waiter starts at a minimum of a 51%

The service was terrible as our server would disappear for long periods of time. I had to convince my husband to stay after the server brought our drinks and didn't come back to take our food order. We never got drink refills because the server was nowhere to be found. The food was nothing special, just okay.. I was shocked when the bill came as I usually look for the recommended tip and tip at least 20%. It was just two of us and we each got one dish and one drink (since we weren't able to get more drinks) and the recommended amount with a "20%" tip was over $100! They had it marked up ridiculously to 50% and presenting it as though it was 20% So sad because I wanted to like this place...

Over reared and my service was trash!

I should have read the reviews before coming here. The food is just ok, my service was very poor!! They need to redo this all over

Drinks were not good at all. They did not prepare them correct. The food was not the best as well. I found a hair on the bean dip.

Hello. I been trying to call the restaurant but unable to speak with anyone. Just called to asked if you guys take any reservations for big parties?

Horrible location for food, drinks and service. Call Rocamar or Casa Torres unless you like bad service, food, drinks and a side of hair in your cold dish.

When do they have live music?

I went on a Friday, and there was banda by 8pm

Because of that great experience, we decided to go back after a long time, this time on a Sunday. When we walked in, we immediately noticed a big difference . There were a lot of empty tables. We ordered shrimp cocktails (cócteles de camarón) and sat down. Unfortunately, this time the food was not good at all. The juice in the shrimp cocktail was extremely salty,so salty that I couldn't eat it. I went back to the counter and explained the issue. The girl helping us was very nice and explained that they cure the shrimp with salt since it's not cooked. She offered to remake it, which they did, and I appreciated the effort. However, even the remake just didn't taste good to me. I like my seafood to taste fresh, with a natural seafood flavor not overly salty or loaded with condiments. This experience made me wonder if something has changed at the restaurant, especially since it was so empty compared to our first visit. The staff was friendly and did try to make it right, which I appreciate, but overall this visit was disappointing. Since it's also out of our way and we only stopped because we happened to be in the area, I don't think we'll be coming back. It's unfortunate because our first experience was so much better. The ambiance was pleasant. They had a couple of TVs playing football, music in the background, and the place was clean but the food just didn't live up to our previous experience.

The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and exactly where you want to be on a hot summer day. The seafood was incredibly fresh and refreshing. I ordered the campechana kora, and my husband had the Aguachiles, both were absolutely delicious and perfect for the heat. What really made the experience special was the staff. They were so kind, patient, and welcoming. My husband has been practicing his Spanish, and instead of making him feel self-conscious, they were incredibly encouraging and sweet with him. It made the whole meal feel even more authentic and enjoyable. Great food, wonderful service, and an atmosphere that makes you forget you're just minutes from home. I can't believe it took me this long to find Ceviches, but it definitely won't be six years before my next visit!

Parking was easy to find, which was a plus. The ambiance was casual, relaxed, and family-friendly. They have multiple TVs throughout the restaurant, and during my visit, they were showing a soccer game. I always like it when a restaurant broadcasts sporting events, even if it means the place sometimes gets very packed. I was really looking forward to trying their shrimp ceviche, but to my disappointment, they had run out by the time I arrived. I decided to go with my backup option instead: the camarones a la diabla. Camarones a la diabla is a dish consisting of shrimp cooked in a spicy red chile sauce. This restaurant also serves it with rice, toast, and a side of vegetables. As the name suggests, the shrimp are supposed to be spicy. As a spice enthusiast, I'm always on the lookout for the best spicy dishes. The shrimp were cooked well, but they had a sweet taste. It almost seemed as if they had used ketchup in the sauce to tone down the heat. I'm honestly not a fan of mixing sweet with spicy, at least when it comes to protein. The vegetables that came with the dish were soggy and flavorless. The rice was okay but could have been better. The toast was pretty good, it was buttery, garlicky, and crispy. Overall, this dish wasn't bad, but it also wasn't the best. The service during my visit was good. My server was attentive and helpful. He frequently stopped by to check if everything was okay. Overall, this experience didn't turn out exactly as I had expected, but it wasn't a bad experience by any means. I might return one day to try their shrimp ceviche. Hard shells, hard protein, completely white meat and horrible tasting. Came out like it was bland shrimp and sausage straight from the pop with a scoop of sauce poured in. The sauce too was....different and not good. I called and asked if changes were made because...usually the shrimp is soaked wet in sauce and these are stale and crunchy, hard. It's usually slight soggy and easy to remove. Main cook said I should tell them specifically what time I will arrive, otherwise the shrimp will be overcooked. I said, "No, it is removed when it is finished cooking, placed in a bag and left in the front." She completely disagreed and said it was my timing and said the best she could do is give me a 20% discount next time. This was EIGHTY DOLLARS for a dinner for two. 20% off???!!
