(I usually wait until I have a full day of work for him each time.) Clearly, it is past their return policy of 30 days. I ordered online, but called to make sure I was ordering the correct part for my model cooktop. They recommended and sent the wrong part. So, I called today to see if I could send it back and get the correct part.* I wasn't asking for a refund. After speaking with a woman for some time I asked to speak with the owner. Don reiterated that I was calling more than a year past their return policy and that there was nothing he could do because he didn't know who I spoke with. It doesn't matter who I spoke with, it is his company and it's his policy. Reading the recent reviews it seems the current ownership/management has a few very unhappy customers. I'm one of them. We quickly searched up and then decided on getting a new one from a small business. After our in store visit and finding what we wanted, with a better warranty and price than the big company offered, we paid. We skipped the delivery and haul away as we are capable and I wanted to give the community a chance to part out the fridge (appliance parts are $$$$) for no cost. Also made it lighter for us taking to drop off for recycling. Fast forward 11 months, we decided our washer and dryer had been fixed enough times and it was time to upgrade. Again, we found better pricing and warranty at Appliance Depot. Our 3 appliances are doing great. The one service call we made, for the fridge, was soon after the request was made, repair person was timely, and we had a laugh at the user error that prompted the call to begin with. Fast forward again, and we need a microwave. Likely a dishwasher coming up too. We will be going back to Appliance Depot!

I filled out a form on Thomas Service Company's website, they called me first thing Monday morning and Kyle showed up just as promised. Kyle was pleasant, knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to help us. After expertly fixing our Sub-Zero issues (They're 15 years old and these were minor fixes so shout out to Sub-Zero) he also adjusted the burners on our Wolf range to help them perform better! The work Kyle did was excellent, and I was grateful for his work and professional manner. He also told us the story of their family business and that was nifty, too! I highly recommend Thomas Service Company, Sub-Zero, and Wolf. Added benefit: The total service bill was way less than I imagined!

This was a major repair and was pretty expensive but should keep my Subzero viable for many years to come. Thomas specializes in Subzero products and their technicians really know their business. I used another repair service once and although the technician meant well he was not very familiar with Subzero so he really wasn't able to fix the problem and I called in Thomas who did. Thomas technicians know what they are doing, they are polite and informative, and they don't make a mess. On my most recent repair, I noticed that the temperature in the refrigerator section was too high. I called in the afternoon and had a repair crew on site the next morning. They very quickly diagnosed the problem and showed me the evidence. Since it involved a major replacement of parts, I expected to have to wait until the parts were ordered but they had the correct parts in their truck and completed the repairs in about an hour. We have hard wood floors in our kitchen and they were careful to protect them from damage. Other than having a substantial bill (which wasn't their fault), I was extremely happy. If you own a Subzero you should use Thomas Service.

The next one came and it was textured, which we did "Not order". We ordered the Smooth Black! That was what our stove was, to match, Smooth Shiny Black! Our W.S. Rep, Megan thought she may be able to have a Smooth door put on a textured one and that is the only way to somewhat get the smooth Black one? So, that is exactly what happened. The door was smooth but the sides were textured.as she just was not finding what we wanted, With the manufacturer. More Waiting! This time frame of MANY weeks without a Fridge was extremely difficult, We started out with Coolers thinking it couldn't be that much longer. But it Was! Each time they delivered and had ro take back the fridge, it was another 2-4 weeks! So we got a small College Fridge from a neighbor to use, plus he let us Put most of our food in his fridge and freezer!! Then the stove fiasco, which we never seen in the store, but she showed us me a book with it in it. However, we were unaware of the difference in size or that ridiculous Broiler situation, or we would have Never agreed to that stove. Now we are stuck with it and I am afraid to use it!! The dangers, Twice we could smell gas in our house and what happened is, if you accidently bump the knobs in front, the gas goes on and you don't know it until you smell t!! Then it is so much taller than my old one, my stomach is to close to it, so when cooking with the top burners, i can burn myself or catch my clothes on fire!! I can feel the heat immediately, but cannot cook standing back farther away! It is impossible. I have some photos, but cannot figure our how to add them ?
