If you find yourself wandering South Coast Highway in Encinitas, and are looking for a place to grab a casual beer, Culture Brewing fits that bill. Dog friendly, they have a good selection of beer and some seltzers with which to sit and do some people watching either inside or from their small patio outside.

I really love the Encinitas location. It's very chill and fun to go to. Their service has been amazing. It has indoor and outdoor seating with a very dog friendly vibe. They even have water bowls for your four four legged friends. For good beer at a good location grab a pint and enjoy.

While walking by we stopped in for a quick beer. The outside seating was nice and service at the bar was quick. We tried the Blonde which was really good. I'd love to try more next time I'm in Encinitas.

Cool brewery in the heart of Encinitas. Great location and very swanky brewery. Nice big open space concept inside with big front window that fully opens and brings fresh ocean breeze inside. There is designated seating are outside the brewery as well. The atmosphere was very relaxed and mellow. Bar staff was friendly and mingled with random guests. The choice of music help the evening ambiance even more. They offer good selection of beers. You can sample IPA, Ales, and few lagers. Definitely good place to come back to.

3 for $3 tasters on Tuesdays!

This place was pretty good! We enjoyed the vibe of the place and the worker was very friendly. We tried some good beers and we loved the 3 for $3 deal they have on Tuesdays! You get three tasters for only $3 total! It was a really awesome deal! The white chocolate stout was unlike a stout we had before and was very good! We ended up getting some to go, they had a mix 4-pack of the white chocolate and the chocolate stout. We thought this was really fun!

Excellent urban brewery to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. This is my to-go place with my Spanish girlfriends. We love our 101 up and down and we love spending time checking people and having a beer at Culture. Plus the constantly changing expos of various painters makes this place even more interesting. Is very dog friendly and sometimes we even meet the dog owners thanks to them:) You gotta talk to people. This is actually one of the few places around where people seem to have a good time, not pretentious and you can have amiable conversations with strangers. Very recommended.

Good ciders, nice outdoor seating. Right in the heart of Encinitas. Staff is always nice and welcoming. Stop by say Hi and show them some love.

I've been to the Solana Beach one numerous times, so I am familiar with the beers. I was pretty stoked they opened up shop in Encinitas, walking distance from my work. All of their beers are pretty solid. In addition, they have a diverse selection, which is particularly helpful, since my husband and I have different tastes in beers. I'm a big IPA lover, while he is not, and these days, most joints tend to be pretty IPA-happy. We came on a Friday afternoon, and sampled all kinds of stuff. I really enjoyed the hazy IPA. I also tried Husband's milk stout and found it smooth, creamy, and excellent. I had a sip of my friend's strawberry rhubarb beer (a sour). I'm not a big fan of sours, but the acidity in this one was on the subtle side, with nice fruity notes and a lovely rose-pink color. It was pretty good. I also had a taster of the wildflower (?hope I'm remembering it correctly?) IPA. It definitely had an unfamiliar and unique floral tone to it. It was fun and interesting for a taster, but I probably would not order an entire pint of it. As usual, enjoyed the time here.

2nd time visiting Culture Brewing. 1st time at this location. With so many brewery and pub options in the Downtown Encinitas area, it's hard to choose where to hydrate. That is until you see Culture Brewing. Love how open and breezy it is inside. The staff is friendly and very helpful with suggestions and tastings. Can't beat a chill vibe and great beer! We'll definitelty keep coming back!

It's a very small place but I liked it there. Grapefruit IPA was awesome. We ordered pizza from the pizza place next door.

DIPA was solid. Left with a couple crowlers of different beers to take back home. The Office playing on the projector was a nice touch too.

All beers are gluten reduced and you wouldn't even know. The passionfruit haze and mosaic IPA are unreal

I'll admit it was a little bit of a culture shock when I walked in. Albums for sale, food, coffee, and more of a lounge feel than the classic San Diego brewery setup I'm used to. I guess that explains the fancier name. I liked it though. Good place to sit, people watch, and catch the traffic near the station. There were plenty of Padres fans rolling through that day, which added to the energy. The beer is still Modern Times, still cold, and still refreshing. Fun spot.

When I visited there was a party happening, but the staff still made a point to take care of everyone. Multiple bartenders checked in with me throughout the night to see if I needed anything, which really stood out. I ordered the dry cider, which was the only cider available at the time. I would have loved to see a few more cider options, but the one they had was still really delicious. I also got a flatbread pizza and it was excellent--perfect as an appetizer or even a light dinner. There's plenty of seating and the ambiance makes it a great place to relax and spend some time. This will definitely be a must-stop spot for me anytime I'm back in the area.

And our server was fantastic. So why, you might ask, only 4 stars in my review. Two reasons: 1). Management has prohibited giving a splash of a beer for someone to sample. Bottom line is that I wanted to order a pint of beer, but I wanted a splash of a couple of beers to try to make my decision. They refused, saying that one must buy a 5oz taster if one wants to taste the beer. I find that policy offensive. In the end I bought a taster to taste the Chuuurch, and then bought an additional pint after. It just seems nickel and dimey, and would be asking to an ice cream place not allowing one to sample their ice creams before buying a cone. I hope management reconsiders this policy. 2. My wife got the Hot Mess Fries and was disappointed not only in the flavor, but also in the misleading advertising. On the menu it specifically said that there was bacon in the fries, but in fact what they put on the fries was either chunks of ham or "Canadian bacon" (which as we all know is a very different thing from "bacon"). If they were or of regular bacon, the kitchen should have told the server this so he could have asked her if she wanted ham as a substitute. And, of they always use ham instead of bacon, them the menu needs to be changed to reflect that.
