The pizza is amazing here! We stopped by before going to the Del Mar fair to save us from overspending inside the fair & that was a great choice! The pepperoni pizza was delicious! Crust was nice & soft. My daughter ate the crust & she neverrrr eats the pizza crust! We also ordered chicken wings which were also pretty good. I asked for the sauce on the side just in case the kids wanted some. The inside is spacious which plenty of tables. They have the soda machine in the back & they have a couple of arcade machines. Mitch took our order & to me he didn't seem as friendly or welcoming. I let him know I couldn't find the pepperoni pizza in the menu above just to see the pricing & he replied with "it should be up there," in a dull rude tone. Aside from him, the food was great. I recommended the place to my sister.

Love Pizza Port, but this was my first time at this location. Right across the street from the train station and right on highway 101. There was plenty of parking when we went at opening. Just after we arrived we had a group of cyclists and a few other parties. I decided to sit outside because San Diego sun is better than being inside. This visit we got the special of the day. A breakfast style pizza. It tasted good, but I should have gotten my favorite classic cheese.

I like stopping in here when I am in the area, the food and beer is good the atmosphere is crazy busy but worth it. The pizza is delicious and reasonably priced, we usually order a large half and half of whatever sounds good on their menu. The beers on tap are constantly being rotated from their other locations, but they are all good. I like their fruited beers or pilsners. The staff here is friendly, but the wait time for food can be ridiculously long with how busy they are. There are two separate lines for food and beer, the beer line is always quick and easy. Getting a seat here can be tricky depending on how busy it is, but we make it work.

Perfect amount of people for two very hungry couples! Stopped here before a show at BellyUp and it did not disappoint. It was a busy night so our order took a bit but it was very much worth the wait. Thick crust, perfectly done, loaded on the toppings and I love the self serve ranch station. Gotta love a meat lovers and this white pie was tasty, unique and the veggies tasted very fresh. This is a fun spot for a casual night out or a nice family spot. Good selection of beers and a few sours as well. Certainly not the most healthy meal but it's damn good!

Your local casual pizza spot - we stopped in on a busy Friday evening! It was loud inside, but there are some quieter tables outside if you can snag one. We waited in line about 10 min to order, and about 15 min to get our food. Pretty quick in my opinion! We enjoyed the Lahaina pizza. The crust of thick with a nice balance of soft and crunchy. Its pretty load with toppings...but not notably high quality. I also had a beer that was good! Plenty of street parking around. Vibe is super casual.

Busy pizza place near Del Mar racetrack and the Amtrak station. Went there for lunch after a train ride. Had a couple different pizzas, one veg and one with a white sauce. Def recommend their red sauce pizzas - toppings were fresh and tasty. Would come back!

PIZZA PORT @ Solana Beach Came here with a group of friends, and this place was such a vibe! Loved the aesthetic, and it was also close by the beach. I was super excited for a root beer float, but sadly they didn't have ice cream, which was a bummer. Server just said "if you want some ice cream just go next door" felt like an insult as if I was going to go buy ice cream next door and then come back to buy root beer separately. Service was poor - felt like it was just kind of just them doing their jobs and moving on, not much interaction. My boyfriend and I got one of the popular pizza's, and it took about 15-20 minutes. It was SMALL, and it was around $25, topping weren't really fresh, and portions were small. Our table was dirty, full of parmesan cheese and peppers, workers didn't really care to clean other tables as well. However, still enjoyed the vibes of the place, and the paintings and art. The area is great, and the place is huge. I'd be willing to give it another chance for better pizza and customer service.

Came here for lunch! The menu font is so tiny and angled high - so it's a tad difficult to read comfortably. Interior has plenty of seating to accommodate and they do have some large outdoor tables as well. I just went with 1 Pepperoni Pizza Slice and I'm so glad I did because their slices are massive. I thought they mistakenly cut me two slices. My friend had 2 Slices of Pepperoni Pizza and a soda. The pizza wasn't anything special, but it came out hot and didn't get cold and tough overtime. The crust was nice and what's great about this space is their endless pumps of ranch that you can get for yourself. They have red pepper flakes and cheese as well.

The Thursday before Labor Day weekend, my boyfriend and I visited Pizza Port Solana Beach. He grew up in Encinitas and had been here many times, but this was my first visit, as we were staying at a hotel just down the street. We live in the L.A. area, and we had been to the San Clemente location together about a year ago. That was really great. We arrived around 3:30, too late for pizza slices, so we were checking out the menu for a small pizza to share. One of the employees greeted us right away and told us they had four cheese pizza slices left over if we were interested. We didn't wanted to seem greedy, and we were still planning to order a pizza, so we accepted one slice to nibble on while waiting for our pizza (we were so hungry, as we had waited so long to finally go out for lunch). The cheese slice was big and really hit the spot! And it was free, which was even better. We ended up ordering a Pizza San Francisco, which is similar to a pizza supreme. It was delicious. I mostly wanted to write this review to say thank you to that guy who offered us free slices. I just thought that was super nice and hospitable (I'm sure we looked like out-of-towners). So, thanks, dude! We'll definitely be back again the next time we're in town.

Pizza port in Solana beach is a great little restaurant on the main strip here. The selection of pizza, appetizers, and beers are endless and everything comes out quick. Service is friendly and helpful, especially with the beer selection, offering samples of your town between one, two, or three different selections. Bathrooms are easily accessible and clean on the inside. They have all the sports games on and is a great spot to catch the any sports game you're into. Parking is limited as it's mostly street parking. But not impossible to find one. You may need to check the side local streets if it's a crowded night. They also have arcade games here for fun for the whole family. Most are about a dollar to play. Great spot for friends to visit or family outings!

This place gets busy on Friday nights and rightfully so, as they serve up appetizing pizza, wings, and craft beers in a laid-back setting. Buffalo chicken wings 12-pieces ($15): I typically prefer fried wings with crispy skin; however, these baked wings are special. The skin and juicy meat are tender and their Buffalo sauce is a winner. Meet Extreme Meat Pizza - medium ($25): 3.5/5 stars. Roma Pizza - medium ($25): 4.5/5 stars! Lodge Beer American 5% Lager - pitcher ($29)

Waiting over 30min with glass of beer

We visited on April 7th around 12:45 PM expecting a simple lunch -- pizza, salad, and a quick break. Instead, we experienced a complete breakdown in service, followed by behavior that was outright disrespectful. From the beginning, there were issues. The female staff member taking our order could not properly process a simple lunch special and had to call another employee to complete it. We were told to wait and that our name would be called. We waited about 15 minutes and checked -- not ready. We waited again and checked around 1:10 PM -- still no clear answer, no explanation, just vague responses. The restaurant was not busy, which makes this even harder to understand. After waiting over 30 minutes, we checked again around 1:20 PM and were told that our order didn't even exist. We waited over 30 minutes for an order that was never placed. Due to time constraints, we requested a refund. While the manager was processing the refund, a female staff member standing directly behind the manager made eye contact with my partner, smirked, and mouthed an offensive word while laughing. This happened in front of management. This was not subtle, and it was not accidental -- it was deliberate, visible, and directed at us. That moment crossed the line completely. We didn't even get the chance to try the food -- and after that behavior, it no longer mattered. What is equally concerning is that there was no meaningful response to this behavior. No real apology, no accountability, and no effort to address what had just happened. This is not just poor service. This reflects a serious problem in how customers are treated -- even in front of management. I will not speculate on intent, but the way we were treated felt degrading, uncomfortable, and completely unacceptable. No customer should be treated this way.

Came on a Sunday afternoon and the place was pretty busy. Decided to order the Solana pizza. I was intrigued by the shrimp on a pizza. I was throughly surprised and enjoyed it! All the toppings blended well together. Note: they only do single slices at specific times

I wonder if this is a location on eBird. Yes, I am a dork. I came here years ago while on a business trip and randomly found this place and loved it here. Date gets some brownie points for chosing this spot, maybe this could go somewhere haha. Parking is a situation here. But if you go past the restaurant, there is some parking on the road and in small lot meant for those enjoying nature. I felt bad taking one of these spots. There is paid public parking on the corner before the restaurant and valet is available at this brewery. I need to figure out another way to get here... On a Sunday afternoon, place had people but it wasnt mobbed. Baseball game and Del Mar horse races were showing on the TVs. But, don't come here to watch TV, look outside! I saw some very good bird action, including an egret doing some weird strutting in the lush greenery. I am bummed I forgot to bring my binoculars but I will be back here again soon with binocs ready! I started off with a hefeweisen and that was good, date had a Mexican lager x 2. I had the ceviche (pretty good) and had the aioli on the side. Date had a sandwich of some kind and copious amounts of fries. It took a lot of will power for me to not have any of those fries, they looked so yummy! I also had a watermelon beer, this had hints of watermelon flavor and I enjoyed it. Great spot for large groups too as there were a few large parties sitting in the "outside" space. Hostess initially asked if we wanted to sit "inside" or "outside," and I was confused as it all looked like outside to me haha. I guess this is SoCal, everything is open air. This is a nice spot to have convo, very spacious, lots of nice tables, we sat at a high top. I love perching higher up, kinda of like a bird haha! Waitresses here were all very good, some very cute too (eye candy is always appreciated). Overall, a really fun way to spend a Sunday summer afternoon! I'll be back!

The aesthetics are lovely here and the huge outdoor, open seating is what drew my sister and I here and we did enjoy a lot. Maybe would come back to have food if in the area for a show.

The inside dining room and bar is cozy and decorated with posters from musical acts. Tavern is popular before shows and we go early on weeknights to beat the crowds and enjoy the food. The menu is reasonably priced. The tasty pan seared lemon and butter scallops on linguine was $29. The lobster tacos are $28, with the lobster chunks in a bowl with a subtle tomato sauce, and choice of torillas, with Spanish rice and black beans. Tavern has a full bar and a short but excellent wine list, reasonably priced, and mostly from California. Wines by the glass start at $11 and go to $14. A bottle of William Hill, Central Coast, Chardonnay, wsa $42 and the Rombauer Carneos, $65. Corkage is $25. Most cocktails are $15. It has local beers on draft and in the cans. Service is always fast and friendly. They check regularly for water refills, and any thoughts on the meal. We enjoy the casual, neighborly feel to the Tavern. A California beach town classic.

Wine list is what you need. Not huge, but full of solid wines. Review for the attached restaurant: Kind and efficient service. Joy was stellar!!! Nice welcome upon coming in. Server had it all nailed down. Look forward to coming again! 5/20/26 visit
