We really like frozen custard and this is one of the few places nearby that we can get one. It's tough for me to give a lot of starts to a fast food place. The Culver's restaurant is a good place, but me and my family went there for dessert and got 5 ice creams. My sister and my dads Ice cream were perfect; my grandmas was too, but they forgot whipped cream. On the other hand, me and my mom didn't get the right thing. We went back in to get the right thing, and we did. I just got a different flavor. After, I got the right ice cream; It was delicious. This place deserves a 4/5. read more

Had a good meal here. I ordered the Bacon Double Deluxe basket with onion rings instead of fries and a chocolate malt. Everything came out hot, fresh, & tasty! The burger was not dripping with grease unlike previous times I've tried the food here. Very tasty and filling. The O-rings were nice and crunchy on the outside. I got two codfish sandwiches from the Culvers at 6300 28th st in Grand Rapids. Normally these are very good from any Culvers with nice flaky codfish in good buns. These however were far fron normal and, in fact, the worst I'd ever had anywhere in western Michigan. The botton bun was actually soggy and wet. My sister and I drove to Culver's to get concrete mixers and take our eyes away from the TV for a hot minute. I had the vanilla concrete mixer with sprinkles, my personal favorite, and it was great. Was really pleasantly surprised after seeing some of the bad u tube video reviews on the north Atlantic fish. I decided to try it out myself, boy was i happy, crisp flaky fish, freshly prepared. .yum. I ordered the 2 pc dinner, got onion rings instead of fries..was an up charge of $1, was not told about the up charge at drive thru.. coleslaw was good n a soft dinner roll. I think this is Midwest version of In and Out, maybe not as good but easily the best round. Man this place has it all I usually stick with their burgers because they are some damn good. Easily better than any of the main fast food chains around and better than some local spots as well. Their fries are good but the cheese curds are where it is at, how can you go wrong with fried cheese. They also have their own root beer which is fantastic. Where this one sets itself apart is customer service, everyone is so nice and seem excited to be there. I go by this Culver's at least twice a day and it's great to see so many families going there. The food is great: especially the burgers and the cheese curds. When I get carryout, the curds are often gone before I get home! The staff is always very customer-service oriented and many of them are just plain fun. They keep the place very clean, even when it's busy. The staff does not stand around! They're always on the move. Culver's also does a lot for their communities, often hosting events for local nonprofits. They are big supporters of the FFA. It's just a clean, wholesome company. There wasn't anything particularly wrong - just the fact that at the end of the day Culver's is simply fast food and the items reflect that. So i go to culvers today to order food today and i have never been treated so badly in my life. as i ordered my food i asked them if they could please put the shrimp dinner is a separate bag because i'm deadly allergic to it and i get up to the window and reminded them about the shrimp dinner. They put all the food in the same bag then i watched them take it all back out of the bag to separate it.then i asked if she could add a Mountain Dew to my order and she told me they were to busy i had to go back through the drive-thru if i wanted one. I got home called and talked to the manager and he said i should come in and put my application in because they are short staffed and he didn't have time for me to explain to him what happened.well i would come in and put a application in there if i was not disable just to show you about food safety and how to treat your customers. I get you are short staffed but that is no reason to treat people that way. but bottom line here is that food safety is important and this could have been a bad situation.
