When you pull into the driveway you can enjoy the great neon signs, which were the norm back then, but the decor with bar stools really gives a nostalgic vibe. It's like you traveled back in a Time Machine and expect Richie and the Fonz to walk through the door. Don't expect any high-end gourmet burgers that cost $40+ at Angie's, but if you want a burger or sandwich that is reasonably priced, along with a malted, you love this fast food restaurant. Likewise, you can order online if you like and pickup the food at the counter if you're short on time. The service at Angie's is really fast, and you can watch it being cooked on the flattop grill. I love coming here. The place is so cute and looks like a 50's dinner, complete with little stools at the counter. They have expanded their menu from mainly burgers to tacos and some Mexican dishes. I got the double cheeseburger which is great. I love their cheese fries and onion rings. The street tacos looked so good I will need to try them. I'm going to let my photos speak for themselves. The chicken tenders were from 2021. They weren't amazing but acceptable for diner food. When I returned a year later, I ordered takeout chicken wings that were charred to a crisp. The chili was noticeable smaller and not as tasty. A sad but common story for so many restaurants today with quality and portion sizes decreasing as prices increase. Never returning here again. read more

This location has probably the number one hamburger/slider combination in Canton. You will see a hamburger on the outside and the focus on hamburgers sliders. They also have a wonderful loaded fries and a good selection. This is one of the places I take visitors from out of town. read more

This place is awesome. I've been here many times over the years. It's fast, cheap, and tastes great. I still consider this "fast" food. Not in a cheap way. But this is what McDonald's used to be, and should strive to get back to. It's a small old school diner with a bar for ordering and limited seating, but it has a drive thru so you dont need to go in if you dont want. Service is almost instant as soon as you walk in. They are bilingual fluently with spanish speakers for anyone that is ESA and needs help ordering. Tacos are pretty decent too, had them last time we went. This restaurant not only serves a great meal but does it with quality, quickness, and friendliness! It's a great place you will want to be a regular at. The atmosphere is 1950's diner with bar stools lining the counter and windows. There's a tall table in the back, maybe the whole place seats 25. It's rustic, worn, and outdated on the inside but it works and provides you with a glimpse of the past whilst you enjoy street tacos or sliders. There's a drive thru and handicap entrance. This place is one of the last old school diners from the bar stools to the decor to the flat top they cook on. It's my favorite place and it's not only mine; All the locals know it's the place to be for lunch and for dinner too. They make old school malts, they have shakes, they have chicken fingers and they recently started making tacos but I always get the chicken sliders. The fries are perfectly seasoned and the portions are generous and the prices are good. I would be embarrassed to tell you how many times a week I go to this place. If you are longing for nostalgia vibe, than swing by Angie's. Once you walk in, you'll travel back in time. I drove by here many times, but never stopped by until a friend said to go and try the chicken slider. Walked in, found a seat and reviewed the menu. I asked how big the burgers were and was told they were sliders - so expected the size of those sliders from White Castles. I went with the following items: - double cheeseburger with everything - chicken slider with cheese and everything - order of onion rings First and foremost, throw out the notion of "slider" as I would not consider their burgers "sliders". When someone says its a slider, I automatically think of those from White Castle, but they are not the same. I would highly recommend that you get the chicken slider with cheese. The chicken slider is made with white meat; which was perfectly fried, juicy and very moist. I'm not a fan of white meats, but this one I would eat anyday! The burger was good, but would recommend you go light on the onions (unless you love them). Honestly speaking, I preferred the chicken slider over the hamburger. I also noticed that lot of other customers were ordering chili fries, so I would recommend that instead of the onion rings. The onion rings are basically store bought, fried and served with ranch dressing. It wasn't busy when I came, which was on a Sunday at 1:45pm. My mom lives around the corner from here and every time I go over there I think how cute this hamburger stand is and how I should try it sometime. After a day hanging out with my mom I was pooped and wanted to go get something quick to take home for dinner so I finally gave Angie's a try. The burgers are definitely more a slider vibe. I ordered two double cheeseburgers for my husband and I. They were steamed, with grilled onions, mustard, and pickles. Just like I like it! Their fries are crinkle which, typically isn't my favorite fry variety but these were really good! Perfectly crisp, salty, and nice and hot right out of the fryer. I also got a side of cheese to make my own cheese fries and they were quite tasty. My husband got the chili cheese fries and we weren't sure how they were going to hold up the 20 minute drive home but they held up remarkably well and they tasted very good, too. I also HAD to get an Oreo shake and it was HUGE. I like my Oreo shakes with a little more cookie chunks in them (this one was very blended) but that's a small quibble! It still tasted great. The drive thru server was really pleasant and, even though it was a brief encounter, I found it enjoyable. I'll definitely be stopping through again in the future! read more

Stopped here with the fam on a whim after hours spent upgrading our phones at T-Mobile across the street and were starving. There were 4 adults and 1 kiddo. We ate inside. Most got some variety of burger and fries. I got the carne asada fries. And a strawberry shake. Be warned their shakes are HUGE. Delicious. But huge. The staff was really quick and super friendly. Not much seating inside but most seem to go thru the drive thru and eat in their cars. Very nice simple diner vibes. We were all pleased and happy with it. First time going to this cute diner. Friendly service but the burgers were very tiny. The meat was as small as a slider but on a regular bun with 1/2 of a slice of cheese that cost an extra 40 cents. This is the absolute cutest little old fashioned diner! Located on Michigan Ave in Canton. There is a drive thru, patio seating or an old fashioned diner style counter inside. The decor and atmosphere are so cool if you're into this kind of themed stuff like I am. The menu is small but he food is good. Choices include slider style burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries and shakes. My very fave is the Boston cooler made with Vernors and ice cream. Such a tasty treat! The food is made fresh so it takes a few minutes to prepare, but it is worth the wait. The service is strictly short order, nothing more nothing less. I ordered online, but when I arrived it was ready to go. It was hot. I ordered a double cheeseburger add mayo and a fish slider with extra tartar sauce both were phenomenal! The fish was crispy, crunchy white scales. The burger was just how you liked it if you enjoyed the whole 50 style diner burgers. I love the classic burger experience. The type of places you find on road trips with the metallic sheen and the fluorescent looking lights. The restaurant is set up like an old time diner. The staff is friendly and very quick. The place is generally packed at lunch so come before or after. They have a drive thru but expects a small wait as the food is made fresh. They also have an online order service so you can place your order ahead of time. Love the food and the service. Started going there for the burgers which are very good but I love the street tacos even more! They have great onion rings too!! I drove by it a few times taking my kids to sports events at High Velocity and I had an uncontrollable urge to try this place, so we went last night. It was fantastic! I loved the thick crinkle-cut fries. I took the advice of a few other reviews and asked them to make them a bit crispy / well-done. I ordered a chicken sandwich and a chili burger. My kids got milk shakes and cheeseburgers and fries. We loved the burgers. The chili on mine was excellent. The milk shakes were great. I do wish I had also gotten cheese on my double chili burger - it was "missing something" but some extra mustard helped. The surprise star of the meal was the chicken sandwich. Great flavor, nice thick and generous with the chicken, and some good seasoning in the breading. I would definitely order it again. Note that it wasn't a cheap meal - the burgers were decent-sized at $3.50-$4.50 each, so a meal for 4 consisting of sandwiches, fries, and three $5 milkshakes (I drank water instead) was $42 before tip. I tried Angie's Hamburger Stand for Yelps Big Night in. It's a small dinner right off Michigan Ave. The drive up is open, but it it's too busy you can go on the inside with a mask. I ordered the double cheeseburger, onion rings, and raspberry/Pina colada shake. The patties on the burger are not super huge, so the double was a perfect size for me. The onion rings had a nice amount of crisp and they weren't greasy. The shake was good, but a little to sweet for my taste buds. Overall, the food was decent and not too pricey. read more

One of my favorite local slider type hamburger places. The burgers are moist, hot, and topped with onions and pickles. I really appreciate that the food is hot. Sat in line for about 10 minutes after placing my order. The taker window person was friendly and polite. I decided on my first visit to try a regular cheeseburger, a double cheeseburger, and fries. The fries were plentiful but needed a little more salt. The burgers didn't really have much taste to them. A little bit of onion taste is present. No catchup or mustard taste. Their loss is our gain especially given what was built in its place. Angies is 100 % minority owned and operated by Latin Americans. The food is fifties style sliders, chili dogs and onion rings and comparable to the best local joints we all know: Bates, Telway, Hunter House and Brayz. Try their shakes.The drive through is new but very convenient and the ADA ramp was a clever suggestion albeit required. Cash and credit. Only open til 8 during the week. Stopped through out shopping with brother that lives in the area.... definitely worth the stop! The ordering was pretty smooth and the food!!!!!! The bomb! Last time we came here it was Vinnie's hamburger stand. The hospitality from the cashiers and cook staff was warm and friendly you get to see the food as they cook it!!! I got the chicken slider (deep fried and delicious) with crinkle fries. I also had a double cheeseburger...it too was phenomenal. The flavor and the size was perfect! OPEN ON SUNDAY 10 TO 6. This was the cutest little mom and pop diner. Passed by it on the way to go shopping and had to stop on the way home. New name and new menu according to other reviews. So you might be looking for Vinny's but this is now Angie's. The menu is small but has a decent variety of burgers chicken sandwiches and some specials like Patty melts and grilled ham and cheese. Unlike a lot of other places you can get chilly here with no beans. Yay. Ordered 2 double burgers. Burgers are served with grilled onions, ketchup and mustard and pickles on top. Burgers were good. Small like SW Detroits Telway Burgers or White Castle for ya non SW people. But you can get a double or triple. The pickles were nice crisp deli style sliced pickles. It offered a good contrast to the greasy burger. Next time if im hungry ill order a Triple Burger. Cheese Crinkle Fries were BOMB! I'm not generally a fan of liquid cheese but these tasted delicious. Chili no beans, add cheese and add onions. Chili was okay. Id like a thicker chili, and more seasoning. But it waant bad. Id order again as it was. Service was great! Girl server at the counter was quick and served my chili as soon as i ordered. Young man server picked uo where she left off with checking us out. And they both had great attitudes!
