While we used to like the service and quality here, it has gone down dramatically. We have gotten custard here a few times over the past few months and keep getting less and less while the price is the same, if not higher. When we received our "2 scoop dish" of the flavor of the day, it was at best 1. It didn't even fill half the dish. When we stopped back, the employee just said, "yeah, that's 2 scoops." The toppings were being added manually because they needed a new batch of the FOD and they even skimped on those. For how much they charge, it would be nice to get at least what we paid for. We can get better quality, and appropriately portioned custard from other local custard places. Don't recommend this location. I went to the drive-through for a fundraiser for my grandkids school. Even though there were about eight cars ahead of me, the ordering and time before my order came out was reasonable. I got the buffalo chicken tenders basket which included fries and a soft drink. It came with a choice of a two sauces. I chose blue cheese and honey mustard. When I got home, the tenders were still hot, and crispy with a not-too-spicy coating, though the fries were tepid, wilted and no longer optimum. The sundae my wife ordered was quite soupy, (custard melts quickly). Likely because it took about 10 minutes to drive home. Overall, a good experience. read more

I would give this a four star, but it depends on who's making the food in the I've gotten great burgers and I've gotten crappy burgers. I even got a sandwich with no meat in it anyway out of all the color probably the better of all of them, but they really need to slow down and improve their staff. I recently visited Culver's on 124th street with my friends for her bday. I asked for a mint concrete mixer and I received a chocolate ice cream with mint sauce that looked putrid! I waited in line for 10 minutes to try to get a refund but as soon as I reached the counter I was redirected to talk to a different staff member. I asked for the other staff member and she was u able to answer me. finally the 3rd person I talked to told me there was no mint concrete mixer, despite a poster advertising for the same items a few feet away. everyone I talked to had a bad attitude and I wished they had told me about now having this items before I went through 3 people. This place is the worst! I try to never come here, but the custard place that we actually like, Murphs, is closed on Mondays and my daughter wanted ice cream. I'm a big fan of Culver's. I love their concrete mixers, their onion rings, and their butter burgers. Their fish fry and cheese curds are pretty great too. Most other Culver's I would give four stars to just because I enjoy the food. However the service and speed at this Culver's isn't great. Most nights it's literally impossible to get in the parking lot because the drive thru line is so long. If I were the other restaurants in that complex I'd be super upset that my customers couldn't get to me. I realize this isn't entirely Culver's fault, but because of this it makes us sincerely question our decision to head to Culver's on any given night. I really wish this Culver's would move to a different location that was easier to get in and out of and didn't take forever to get your food. This is my favorite Culver's. The quality and presentation of the food is great. This time around, I'd like to acknowledge the great effort they are doing in providing an excellent service through their drive-thru. They are certainly busy but they keep providing good customer service and quality in their meals. I noticed a while ago that some members of their staff are seniors and I like that. I think it's great! That speaks of the values the restaurant. Culver's was my choice for Friday Fish Fry and they didn't disappoint me. After seeing the commercials for the butter burger I thought I would try them again since I don't eat here. Why do they call it a drive through when it's a drive and park so you can wait for your food to be brought over to you. The menu board in the drive through shows most all burgers being double meat and since I didn't want a massive burger I ordered the single bacon cheese burger. I was annoyed that you have to build your burger so I was put on the spot and I like just to get a pre built cheese burger served to me. My first impression was for $4.18 it was pretty small when BK across the street has a whopper for $2.50 with the 2 for $5 deal. The burger was good for what it was but its not a real deal cheese burger. The beef patty was kind of thin and it didn't have major beef flavor like the Wendy's beef patty has. I really was expecting something more after watching the commercials for years. Overall Culvers will not be a fast food burger place that I will be visiting in the future which is nothing against Culvers because I just don't care for most fast food burger places. I love Culver's - that is, the other Culver's locations, not this one. I ordered a meal with a concrete mixer, and I got my meal, but the concrete mixer had vanilla ice cream instead of chocolate ice cream, when I had clearly said chocolate ice cream. So I went up to the counter and told them. They took the vanilla concrete mixer, tossed it in the trash, and made me a new one. No one apologized, they just handed me the new one without a word. And seriously - why throw the old one in the trash? They didn't even ask if I wanted the vanilla one too! Ok, I can accept one mistake, but there were plenty of other mistakes, too! My friend ordered separately, and she ordered buffalo chicken tenders and cheese curds. She ordered before me, but I got my food before she got hers, so we were confused. After about 15 minutes, we went up there and asked and they gave us her meal, but HOW IS IT THAT HARD? How do you just forget about an order that you put in? Once we had all finally gotten our food and had finished eating, my other friend wanted to go get some ice cream. She ordered a vanilla cone with cookie dough on the side. After 10 minutes and she still hadn't gotten her ice cream, we went up to the counter and waited. This location is hidden away compared to other Culver's, but they completely have a community spirit. The teenagers/young adults that work here, are a joy to deal with. They all have smiles on their faces and treat everyone like a friend they haven't met yet. The times we have been there, the line has been long. But they manage to move people through it efficiently. Plus the restaurant is always clean, which I don't take for granted. The employee was walking around with a washcloth to wipe tables and still inquiring if people needed anything additional. That is what sets Culver's apart from other chain fast casual/fast food restaurants. We're proud to be the home state of this chain. Every time we have food here, it is hot and fresh. I love Culver's. It's definitely my favorite fast food chain. I've been a fan since they were a 1 location restaurant in Sauk City, Wisconsin in 1984. You could say (Yay!) I'm a fan......so it shall get 4 stars from me. The one thing I love about Culver's is consistency. You will get the same EXACT burger in Brookfield that you will get in Shorewood. And the great thing about that, unlike McDonalds, it will be a good product in both places. Culver's just always tastes so much fresher to me than any other fast food place does. And Culver's is why Wisconsin people are fat Butter on all food Culver's centerpiece item is the Butter Burger, which is total truth in advertising; the burger is not so much greasy as it so soaked in butter that anything other than the meat and the bun get destroyed. I usually get the fish sandwich, at least it makes sense for butter to be on that. The milkshakes are thankfully butter-free, and thus are the best part. They come in all sorts of flavors and actually are made from what they're supposed to be made from; i.e. the blueberry has blueberries at the bottom of your shake that get stuck in your straw. All this writing about butter reminds me of this stupid little fact: Back in the 1960's, it was illegal for anyone in Wisconsin to buy margarine. Yup. read more

Honestly, out of all the chain restaurants here in the US. Culver's is one of the few that never disappoints. There might be other locally own restaurants that might do things better, but all the items on Culver's menu is delicious. You'd be hard press to find something that you wouldn't like. Obviously don't come in expecting high quality gourmet food cause if you are, why the heck are you coming to a chain fast food joint in the first place?
