They opened this morning and I went in during the evening time to pick up a couple of vegetable items from Walmart. I was starving! I don't eat fast food or junk food really anymore, but their A-frame reeled me in just enough to start perusing the menu items and once I started talking with the team there, my goodness, it was all over! They had me sold at first bite. Got the Mr. Beast burger by itself for $8.99+ tax. They opened right next to an Auntie Anne's. Joint owners baby! Met the CEO and Founder of Chickaroo (Carrie...she is a genius I tell you and extremely hard working...started with Jamba Juice, which is another fave of mine from CA...love the Razzmatazz!) who also happens to be from Cali! We were practically neighbors and I was just there visiting my hometown over the weekend! Small world! Anyways, the classic sauce is a must try. I put some on my burger, which I ordered as it comes. Met Sam (the guy behind the scenes orchestrating this whole operation and entrusted Jesus to take it to the top!) Jesus is the guy who runs the biz and he gifted me a free soft drink of choice. I picked Fuze tea (sweetened) and it was yummy. Not too sweet, but just right. I don't usually drink anything aside from water or creatine/my doTERRA vitamins so this was a big step and it was so very good that I will be getting more whenever I dine here. They are located in the grocery section upon walking in to the Walmart (on the left hand side). You can't miss it! Auntie Anne's also gave me their original pretzel bites (with sea salt) to try. I had 2 pieces in a teeny tiny cup. To top it all off, Deziree gave me some fresh made "Funnel Cake Fries", which were to die for! It was like a carnival ride in my mouth...more like the entire LA County Fair! Sooooo....sooo...good. Anyone who just passed on by was missing out on life. Seriously. Back to the burger. It was juicy and tasty. A real meaty beefy patty. 75% meat and 25% fat! My kinda burger! I was like did you all inject this patty with butter? That's how good it was! A burger had to be somewhat fatty, but not greasy at all. This takes the cake and is comparable to In N' Out, which I grew up with! It was like a full sized "Double Double", but better! Why? The classic sauce is like the animal style sauce, except it had a smokiness and less mayo flavor. It is to die for! Go try for yourself. If you don't like it, the next one is on me! Happy eating! Btw, the GRAND OPENING will be in approximately 2 weeks and the 1st 100 customers will get something free! The bacon was crisp, not greasy and nice long strips as if baked not fried. My chicken melt was delicious! Grilled chicken breast, bacon, tomato, Swiss cheese and a "special sauce" all toasted between crisp buttery rye bread. I opted for onion rings and they were stellar. You know, where the outside is crisp but the onion is cooked translucent so that when you bite the onion ring the onion doesn't slide out in one long run?!! Perfect!! Our service was exceptional and the food presentation was great. Kudos to the owners for the service and quality effort they have put into this establishment, it truly shows. This will most likely become our "go-to" local spot!! Next review will be the Coney chili dog!
