Absolutely horrible food. Idk who makes these baked goods, but they are the worst I have ever eaten. Would not recommend!

This is a great restaurant. It's always busy, and they provide good customer service. I was particularly impressed with how clean the facilities are. The bathrooms are impeccable and that means a lot. Way to go, Culver's! read more

This Culver's I nice but, could have a better system to operate on. My family and I ordered 3 ice-creams, simple ice-cream, cones and dishes. We orders at 8:40 and all of our ice-cream got to us at 9:01. 21 minutes after we ordered. People who ordered 10minutes after with big meals got food before us. We got the food and the person serveing us asks what topping we wanted on one of the cones. We say cheesecake bites and they disappear. About 4 minutes later they come back and say that they were OUT OF CHEESECAKE, and they offered chocolate cake. No I don't want chocolate cake, if I wanted chocolate cake I would have prefer chocolate cake. I say sure because I am at this point done with being here and they get the cake. NOT HAPPY read more

This is an OUTRAGE! They got my order wrong FOUR TIMES! 4! We got charged wrong and when we got the food half of it was COLD! I will NEVER be going to the Columbus Wisconsin Culvers ever again! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! read more

Stopped here along the highway on the way to Madison. This is truly the heart of Culver's country - passed a farm all decked out in Culver's colors just East of the restaurant. I had a turtle sundae + cup of coffee, and my companion had a bowl of chili. The staff insisted on making a fresh pot of coffee for me, as apparently the current pot had been on the burner for some time. Nice, though it did slow down that cup of coffee -- I was pretty much done with the sundae before it arrived. The chili was actually quite good! I've been going to Culver's for the better part of a decade - they are one of the few fast food places I will stop at. I thought the service at this one in Columbus was really exceptionally friendly and helpful - it was a nice experience. It's a bit off the highway - you have to drive down the road a bit, but it is well worth the couple of seconds it takes to find it. read more

Whoa what is going on at this Culver's? We stopped in for a quick bathroom break and custard break (took custard to go). My husband ordered a flavor of the day cone and I ordered a cherry sundae with whipped cream. Took forever to get our order and it wasn't busy at all. That wouldn't have bothered me if we had gotten anything resembling good custard. They bring out my "cherry sundae." With literally just one cherry on top. I told them that I wanted a cherry sundae (you know with cherry sauce). Instead of taking my order back and correcting it, the employee just hands me a plastic cup with cherry sauce in it for me to assemble myself. I've had many cherry sundaes at many different Culver's. The sauce is generally thick and has chunks of cherries. This was watery, red goo. At this point, I'm not terribly unhappy.. it should taste fine, right? WRONG!! Either one of two things happened: they either gave me absolutely no custard and JUST gave me whipped cream, even though I ordered two scoops of custard. Or the custard was extremely warm and 100% melted. I'm leaning towards the melted option because my husband's cone was handed to him DRIPPING over the cone. Yeah, it's custard, it melts. But it shouldn't be given to you completely melted! He couldn't eat it fast enough, it was dripping everywhere! I threw my sundae away after 3 bites (which is how long it took me to realize that it was awful and contained nothing resembling custard). And my husband only ate half his cone, and my husband NEVER throws out dessert. It was THAT bad! I am so disappointed because we really wanted ice cream to break up our road trip. I didn't bring the sundae back in for a replacement because it seems like a refrigeration issue, so there's no way we would get a better result with a new order. I have never experienced this at a Culver's in my life! It seems like the whole restaurant was being run my teenagers. Absolutely awful. Stay away! read more

Visited this Frozen custard shop after having a big dinner in downtown Madison. The set up is similar to visiting a Burger King, comparing the menu, layout of the counter, self serve beverages, and seating area. Very different from an ice cream shop. They also serve burgers and fries. The frozen custard can be ordered with serveral different flavors and fixings, but I ordered the daily special, which was frozen caramel custard with crumbled cookies and melted caramel mixed into the dessert. Very similar to Cold Stone ice cream. The frozen custard has a tart, lemon taste which is the only difference from gelato, or ice cream. read more

I was in the Columbus area over Christmas and met up with some relatives. This is the second Culver's Restaurant, I've been too, I knew what to expect. Just like any fast food restaurant, it is set up as another other Culver's. I had ordered the Chicken Meal, which consisted of 3 pieces of chicken, fries, and green beans. Our meals were brought us to as they came up, which is a huge plus - delivering of the meals. My entree was okay - remember this is fast food. The chicken was a little dry and the beans were to soggy. It's fast food. Overall, not a bad place for a quick bite. read more

Stopped here after shooting a wedding around 6:45 at night. They didn't seem too busy. In the drive thru we ordered fries, cheese curds, and 2 custard items. We pulled forward and waited but noticed a lot of cars around us leaving. Finally at the 10 minute mark we decided to give them 5 more minutes before going in as business did seem to pick up. After going in, they couldn't find our order.... a gentleman behind the counter worked hard to get us our things and a lady said she'd give us coupons for the issue but never came back.... Excellent butter burgers. Like, melt in your mouth with a little bit of crust on the edges good. I've never had cheese curds, so trying them was a must. Like little nuggets of cheesy goodness that taste like cheese sticks. read more

This Culver's in Columbus is wonderful! My husband and I were bringing a moving van through Wisconsin and decided to stop for a late lunch. We were happy to see this Culver's had boat parking, so there was plenty of room for the moving truck. When we went in to order, we saw several senior citizens playing bingo. The mood was fun and welcoming. It did take a little longer than usual to get our meal (we love Culver's!), but we did not think much of it. When the food arrived, an apologetic woman told us dessert was on the house because the food took so long. Wow! We enjoyed some flavor of the day and noticed how wonderfully creamy the frozen custard was. I don't know if it the suppliers in Wisconsin, but we have noticed that Wisconsin Culver's are better than the ones we have eaten at in Iowa where we used to live. read more

I've been going to this place for years. Whenever I want a burger or some curds I'll drop by and rarely leave disappointed. In terms of the food itself it's pretty standard Culver's fare. In my mind it's higher up on the scale when it comes to fast food but does not leave the ranks of what is expected of a chain fast food restaurant. That, however, is sometimes all you need when the craving for fast food hits and you don't want to risk McDonald's. Decent food, good service. That's all that I ask from this place. read more

Pretty sure about 1/4 of my cheese curd order was left on the back counter as the young cashier tried to wrestle the order in to a bag using a pair of tongs. That's frustrating considering the price of the item and the fact that I don't get cheese curds where I live and I want them aaaaalllllll! read more

This is the best Culver's I have ever gone too. The workers are always happy...I mean ALWAYS happy. Not just one worker either, all staff. This to me shows that management is treating their workers right. The portions of food are better quality than at other places I have gone to. For instance, cheese curds. At other Culver's restaurants I have had some cheese curds literally the size of a top on a push pin; at this Culver's the cheese curds are full size. Also, when you ask for dipping sauces they don't skimp. They will provide you with 2 instead of one (and yes they remember to put it in the bag if going through drive thru). Another thing I like is the flower pots/plants that surround the building. This to me shows that somebody cares enough to pay attention to the smaller details outside, which will only bode well for the inside of the store as well. Great job! read more

Its lacking management. If its at all busy they loose your order and apologize profusely for thier inadequacy. I would never leave bad review but this is the third time. Ownership and management needs to step it up. read more

Being from the east coast I had never experienced a Culver's before. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the establishment was and how polite the staff were. I came for the fried walleye but they did not have any because it's not walleye season(walleye season is late February to early June). I settled for fried cod plate and an Oreo shake. The cod was better than I expected for a fast food place but still not great. My Oreo shake however was very good you can tell they use real Wisconsin milk in the shakes, I would definitely come back for another. read more

This is the LAST time that I will pull into this Culver's. When I pulled into the drive thru there were 2 cars ahead of me. The order was taken promptly and then the cars ahead of me and everybody after me waited and waited and waited. After 25 minutes I finally got my order and hit the highway. I should have checked the bag first because I took one bit of the cheeseburger and it was so cold I ended up throwing it out. This is not the first time that I have had this experience at this particular location. I am willing to pay more for Culver's over somewhere like McDonalds because the quality is usually higher - just not at this location apparently. read more

It's a Culver's. And, since as a company Culver's has crazy stringent franchise standards, they all tend to be equal. The people here are particularly friendly, though. Right now they're doing a promo for all size drinks for $1. So I've driven through a few times to get my fix of their yummy root beer. It's way tasty. read more
